How do I release a hold on my account?
All holds automatically drop off after the specified expiration date; or when the merchant collects on the final bill; you don't need to do anythingTo release an authorization before the expiration date, we would need a fax directly from the merchant advising AccountNow that they will not collect their funds(Please note that if the merchant is collecting any portion less than the hold amount, the hold will not be released until the final purchase is posted.) Once we get the fax, we will review and remove the authorization held if the fax is completeThere may be a $service fee for this exception request
If you wish to proceed with an early hold release, please contact the merchant to provide the following information:

I plan on closing this account because of the poor customer service and the way the bank holds the customers's funds even when the merchant has informed the customer that funds were releasedThis puts the customer at a great disadvantage and the bank should be for the customer not against them

Administration deposits on this customer account since August On October 28, 2015, AccountNow closed the account due to a change of address, repeated calls by a third party, and the inability for the customer to provide address verificationAccountNow contacted the Veteran's Administration and a representative stated that the new address did not match the address on file at the VAOn 10/31/AccountNow advised the customer that the account would be reopened on 10/31/only to allow the customer to remove remaining funds and the account would then be permanently closed at the end of the dayThe customer was provided with the account balance and the customer performed transactions to remove funds

THAT IS UNTRUE- I finally received an email from them on MAY 13TH! I have been calling and leaving messages since beginning of April- The utility bill I sent on 4/was the previous month's bill then and I also sent them a picture of my Alien ID card that is still very much active

AccountNow is nothing but a ripoffMy account was closed on Sunday, November 27, and I was never notifiedIt was closed due to negative account balance which was generated from their monthly fee of $and I charge that was sent through weeks after the fact which I dont understand how because it was taken right out of my account the same dayI didnt know my account was closed until I logged in on this morning to see if my deposit hand been posted and I receive a message stating that my access to the AccountNow customer service center was restrictedSo I called in and spoke with a Customer Service Representative and eventually a supervisor and basically all I got was a *** you and oh wellThey told they were under no obligation to inform that my account was being closed because " they didnt close it was done automatically by their system on negative accounts." So I asked them can I reactivate the account since my deposit was pending and they informed that they couldnt reactivate the account but I can request a new account be reapplying againThey said my direct deposit was being rejected and would be sent back to my employer when then business hoursAccountNow is nothinng but a ripoff and the customer service department dont have access to do anything but tell you about your account which is what you can do online yourselfThey didnt offer no apologies or alternative solutions just an oh wellSo here it days before my rent is due, car note is due, and my daughter's birthday and I dont have any moneyMy company pays us once a month because we are salaried employees and due to my account being closed they wont be able to issue me another check until January 1, AccountNow states in their consumer agreement that your funds are FDIC insured and you wont be held responsible for any charges you didnt create which I figured by now is a lieI sent in a dispute regarding a $ATM charge that was on my account, I notified them that the no money was issued from ATM but the money was still withdrawn from my accountThey process the dispute within days and told me it was denied but I never received any communication as into why only that the decision was final and can not be undoneSo I had to contact the ATM company directly to have the issue resolved because they never received any dispute issued from AccountNow so basically they just lied to mePlease dont use this card it is a waste of time and you will be disappointed I had this card for years and now I am leaving them because they customer services sucks and so does their policy and proceduresBasically I was told that everything is done by an automated system the customer service reporesentatives are just there for those who dont want to access the online system
