account with a yahoo.com email address.  This caused his rewards to get sent to the wrong email address.   His current account is up to date with the phone number provided and Gmail address provided.  We have issued three $20 off $50 codes to his Gmail address.  We do see where mark earned these rewards, and want to thank him for his business.  Going forward, if any help with our loyalty program is needed, we welcome Mr. [redacted] to call customer care at [redacted]   Our promise is to provide superior customer service and offer high quality products when you need them. I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appearfirst on the mustang I contacted them and they said I had to bring part back to advance auto but they originally shipped to my address so they can pick it up at my address if they want to honor the claim since I will no longer step in one of their stores. on the suburban that motor missed from day one and I did everything they asked plus some. now they are saying something different. and to top it off the new motor is missing on #5 and #6 cylinders. it has new plugs, wires, coils and fuel injectors. same problem as last motor. told customer I wont deal with warranty company and [redacted] have to go somewhere else. like i've been telling everyone crappy work and they don't take care of customers. The $300 check as a good will gesture will not be cashed. I dont want a good will gesture. I want to honor what you said . I already have found another company to do business with since you cant seem to flip on what you say. I feel sorry for the people I put motors in. thanks for nothing.

I believe I am familiar with the coupon mentioned by Mr. [redacted] and I’m uncertain as to why he would have issues with it. I will include a picture of the card’s front/back to show the dollar amounts offered to be discounted and the guidelines in order to make use of this coupon. If Mr. [redacted] does not believe this answers his question then I would request to know the store location this incident took place at and the items attempting to be purchased. I did this about a week ago. I took it back around 5:30 in the evening and I know who I handed it too, so if the store manager is ok with me just bring in the receipt, I'll do that. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Ms.
[redacted] daughter was not the “purchaser” of the alternator; the repair
shop purchased the alternator from Advance Auto Parts. With this being said any
warranty provided to Ms. [redacted] daughter would normally be through the
repair shop...

that purchased the alternator from Advance Auto Parts since the
warranty is not transferable.
From the information provided, Advance Auto Parts has
already gone above the warranty and provided an exchange on the alternator on 2
separate occasions in an attempt to help out the end user of the alternator.
At this point we will not be able to provide labor
reimbursement for these repairs.

We were
able to find the proof of purchase from 2/18/2011 under [redacted]...

[redacted].  Unfortunately, the second source vendor this
lift was purchased from is no longer in business.  The lift probably had a 90 day or 1 year
parts warranty, but due to Qingdao Jinhua Lifts being out of business; we have
no real confirmation on this information, or way to source the parts the
customer is looking for.
We have
previously engaged our district manager and regional vice president regarding
this opportunity.  We offered a $500
credit towards a replacement lift.  This
will be our final offer of resolution for Mr. [redacted].
Our

She advised that the main concern was the fact that one of our Team Members was very rude and refused to do the Alternator Test and advised we do not offer that any longer, which we do still test for customer. [redacted] advised that General Manger ** had helped her a great deal and that a new Alternator was being put in by a garage due to that part having failed. I offered a $50 gift card which [redacted] on behalf of Mr. [redacted] graciously accepted. I followed up and spoke with General Manager ** who is working with the rude Team Member to make sure this does not take place again.Our promise is to provide superior customer service and offer high quality products when you need them. caused Mr. [redacted]. We reviewed the online order and see where the refund was already issued. Since it was done on 12/20/2016 then we would advise 3-5 working business days of Mr. [redacted]’s Bank which at most be should 12/28/2016 depending again on his bank. We are unable to stop or alter the refund at this time and would have to let it process. We do require all batteries be tested using on our equipment and base any exchanges based on those testers unless a customer provides an invoice advising a battery is defective from a certified mechanic. We apologize for the lack of exchange concerning this matter and we will work with the field management to correct this going forward. We would like to offer a $30 gift card for the inconvenience and if this is acceptable then request Mr. [redacted] accept the resolution and we will mail it to the address provided. also show where Mr. [redacted] was paid $350 for this issue he is describing. The warranty however on remanufactured transmissions are based upon terms set by the Manufacturer, [redacted]. The maximum amount that is paid for a claim is $350. We have attached the warranty for review. At this time we will be unable to assist the customer in concerns the warranty set by [redacted] the Manufacturer. First of all Advance Auto Parts  never offered to pay me $ 150.00  for the airplane starter core that they lost or stolen from me What they offered was $63.00 . I will not except $63 .00 . If now they are willing to pay $ 150.00 for my airplane starter core that they lost or stolen from I will except that and when I receive it I will close my complaint .        [redacted]
