made the mistake of ordering a top from these CLOWNS, never got a confirmation on order are tracking information after 2 wks called for an eta for my cover they told me that work was heavy and that it was 13 wks out , unless I want to pay 79.98 for expressed shipping from reading other reviews that doesn't happen either, when you place an order with them you are hooked, they either get for 80.00 or 150.00 for cancelation, this company should be shut down. they suck!!!!!!

Her order is currently 2 weeks old. We can get it out in 8 total weeks. 6 weeks from now. These are custom made & we put the delivery time right in the Q & A tab. It is there everyday . Tell her it will be done in aprox 6 weeks & on the way .

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of submitting your order without penalty. Your order cancellation must be submitted in writing via email to ***ffordablespacovers.com. Worst shipping experience, still ongoing.
I run a pool and spa company, tried ordering a few covers from here and ran into issues every time. They take 3 months to ship the cover, and always have the excuse of "we are running behind right now". If you are always running 3 months behind you need to state that on your website. After the most recent cover got shipped the cover lifter got lost in transit. They use YRC freight, which is the cheapest shipping company out there, now I have spent 3 weeks calling both YRC and affordablespacovers and both are not taking responsibility. Worst part is that we are going to lose a customer over this nonsense. Do not order from them based off googles top search results, I have already messaged google about this.

She ordered a cover & lifter . The cover arrived, the lifter was sent , but got lost by the shipper . I just talked to the shipper today . the lifter according to them, is still lost . Odds are we will be filing a claim with yRC freight & probably returning that portion of the money to ***. I think she is getting tired of waiting . It will hopefully all be resolved by next week.

The claim has already been filed by me. I understand things get lost but nobody did anything for three weeks. I will be satisfied when the refund comes in.

Delivered spa cover 1/4/2020 and was as advertised 4-6 week delivery. I paid and now they are saying that delivery is not for 3 months.

I am in talks with my bank to go after this company which has not lived up to their part of the agreement. I paid on the first day and agreed to 4-6 week delivery and I would like my product. They keep saying it is in production and want a $150 cancel fee. Do not use this company. Legal avenue with Revdex.com, my bank, and lawyer will be pursued as of 2/26/2020

I would like my cover delivered in the time I was promised or a full refund.

This customer below , he filed a chargeback against the order . His cover is done & can go out . We of course will not ship an order when it is on a chargeback status. So he can leave the order as is & get his money back via CB . Or he needs to remove the CB . Alert us that he has done so & we can finish the process. Since it is a CB the order will stand as is for now. Thank you

Ordered a spa cover on Nov 7,2019. It is still in production according to website. Called in Jan and they said it would be here first week in Feb.
It appears the cover has not been finished. It has been 90 days. They no longer answer the phone. They were paid 320 dollars on Nov 7. 2019.

On this one, it looks like it was signed for & kept by the ***'s . There is one more document with the name *** on it that I did not include. It looks like they received , signed for & kept the cover . There isn't anything I can do after that . We tell the customer's to inspect the delivery & reject it & give it back to the driver if it is damaged. There is no notation of damage anywhere. Plus there are no additional post delivery notes in the order, so I can't see what the issue may be . Paperwork wise, it just looks like a good delivery .

I placed an order on 10/27/2019. I have yet to receive my order. I was told 4-6 weeks and now it has been almost 13 weeks. They will not answer calls.

Ordered my spa cover on 11-12-19. It's been 11 weeks and still have not received it.
I ordered a spa cover on 11/12/19 and have not received it yet. They said it would take 4-6 weeks. We are going on 11 weeks.

It took a little over 3 months to get my spa cover even though they said it would take 4 to 6 weeks. If you don't pay the rush order you will be waiting a lot longer than they tell you. I don't think it's very honest of a company to take your money and then tell you afterwards they're having trouble with producing an order. When they knew well in advance they could never deliver it in 4 to 6 weeks. Anyway I will say I'm happy with the product everything looks good I got what I paid for.

I ordered a cover on Oct 24th, 2019. My credit card was debited for the amount and I still have not received my cover.
I ordered my spa cover on Oct24th,2019. My credit card was debited for the full amount. I called 3 weeks later to get an updated and was told it had not gone to production, but I could pay an additional amount to expedite it. I asked to cancel the order and they told me there would be a crazy fee, like half the cost of the cover to cancel. I declined both offers. I then received an email on Nov 19th, 2019 stating that my order had gone to production. I replied to the email asking if they had any idea how long before it is done and shipped as winter months were approaching and I needed it. They told me I ordered it 4 weeks ago and it's a bout a 9 week process make and ship. I called on Jan 6th for an update and they said it was still in production that I would receive an email when shipping. I called again on Jan 28th and 29th and left a message to call me back.

If I cannot get it within the next week I would like a complete refund, I wanted this cover for the winter and we are almost half done with winter, This type of service is unacceptable.

Thank you for your help on this, I have read the business's response and although I am not happy with it I'll just have to live with it. I did receive an email from Affordable Spa Covers yesterday stating the cover will be shipped "anytime" next week. 14-15 weeks after an order is place is not acceptable, but at this point I'll just be happy to get my cover. I'll chalk it up to a painful lesson learned. I'm not really sure how much longer it would have been if you had not gotten involved and for that I am very grateful.

Thank you for your message and as of 6:30 this morning the order was completed. I've attached a screen shot of our production status and it will be shipped today or monday. Once it has been shipped the customer will receive an email with shipping and tracking information as well as instructions if the cover is damaged upon delivery.

I ordered a spa cover from them on 10/25/19 for $375. They have not performed as indicated on their website "Fast free shipping".

I ordered spa cover on 10/25/19. Order ID: XXXXX. A few weeks after the order date and with no word from them I called and they said they were "busy" and it would be 6-8 weeks. This is NOT what there website promised, "Fast free shipping". I thought OK, I'll wait it out.

On 11/19/19 I got an email saying the cover was "in production". This was a lie.

On 12/18/19 I got another email saying the cover was "in production". I figured this was just another lie so I tried calling them several time and they did not answer their phone. Finally I got an email from Affordable Spa then said they could get the cover out by 1/15/20, about THREE months after I ordered it. When I challenged them on the shipping date they said "if we don't ship by that date we'll refund". BUT, when I pressed them on this they would not guarantee shipment by that date.

No longer being able to believe what they say I told them I was calling the credit card company to reverse charges. They said they would then keep $150 of my money.

I contacted my credit card company on 12/18/19 and asked them to reverse the $375 which they did. Affordable spa re-billed on 1/20/20 saying this was a valid charge.

I think they are running a scam. Take money, frustrate people with non-delivery, then charge a cancellation fee.

Please read reviews on the web. 1 star rating, the worst. Many people are having this same issue. Some say they have filed complaints with the Revdex.com. Look at their website and see what they promise "Fast fee delivery".

I want a full refund from them. I see no reason why they should misrepresent the terms of their sale, then lie, and then try keep any of my money in the form of a "cancellation fee".

Once again Affordable Spa is lying. They have not sent any credit in any amount.

See the attached jpg file from their website. It clearly states "Fast free shipping". I order the cover on 10/25/19 and was still screwing around with them in December, two months later, trying to get performance on the terms of the purchase/sale, namely "fast shipping". Any reasonable person would not define "Fast shipping" as "months later".

This smells like a scam. Take the money, don't perform, and charge the customer a fee for their own non-performance.

They are in breach of their own posted terms. I will accept only a full refund.

I have contacted this company regarding the warranty on a spa cover I purchased. I have sent emails and left voicemails, without a response.
On November 24, 2017, I purchased a 6" x 4" SNOW LOAD Spa Cover for $405 (Order ID: XXXXX, paid by credit card). This item took one month for delivery. It included a five-year warranty, details on the attachment. I have made numerous attempts to call and email the company to discuss my disappointment with the spa cover I purchased. On three separate occasions, beginning January 13, 2020, I called all numbers listed on the internet for their company: XXX-XXX-XXXX, XXX-XXX-XXXX, XXX-XXX-XXXX. I left messages each time, with my phone number and email contact information. I referred them to my email and my order number, requesting their assistance and a return response.
I have not received any acknowledgment of my call. The phone keeps disconnecting me after being on hold for more than 30 minutes.
I would like to file a warranty claim. I have followed the guidelines of making a warranty claim, but have not received a response, or any opportunity to discuss my product concerns with a representative of their business.

Desired Outcome

The warranty promises 'Foam inserts are covered for 5 years.' I would like replacement of the foam inserts in my spa cover. I purchased the upgrade for the 6" x 4" foam, model: snow load, for a longer life, as recommended for a winter climate. There is no damage, they are kept clear of snow, and gently used in a household of one, and have not lasted even three years. I would like the inserts replaced.

This response does not address the warranty of the purchased spa cover. I did receive it. It has not held up as guaranteed and covered by the warranty. I am seeking replacement.

I ordered and paid for a hottub cover that was never delivered and I keep getting the run around. Customer service has been horrible!!!!
Ordered and paid for my spa cover back in October 2019. The website indicates a 4 to 6 week turn around time once the order is sent. I've called and emailed many times with each time a promise of it shipping with a couple weeks. Now the company hasn't returned my last couple messages or emails.

Desired Outcome

I would like my product delivered immediately!!!!!!! A significant discount would be appreciated but not expected. I have not been able to use my spa as a result of this poor service. This is my 3rd cover from this company and no matter what I'll never order from this company again.

Original 4-6 week delivery was extended to 9 weeks. Now past 11 weeks with no communication.
Order placed Oct.25/19 including credit card payment of $269.00. Received confirmation and order correction which increased cost to $321.00. The original delivery time was 4 - 6 weeks. Received confirmation on Nov.4/19 that cover was in production. Placed call to inquire about status after 6 weeks and was told delivery would be 9 weeks due to holidays and production.
It has now been 11 weeks and cover is still listed as in production with no further communication.

Desired Outcome

At this point I would prefer a full refund. I have no confidence this company will provide a product which will be satisfactory.

I did receive a voicemail with a rambling message that the cover would be finished and / or may be finished by Friday. It also stated I would receive a call from the freight company with the delivery details. As well, I was told I may not receive a call because they have heard people have not received this information.
The call cover all the bases the product should be completed but may not, and I would receive delivery information but may not.
They also left a number to call in the event I wanted to confirm if the cover was completed as promised????

The product finally arrived. It is well made & fits as expected. Although this is the case, I would not do business with this company in the future. Based on the reports and reviews I have seen, it appears that this is their standard business practice. Secure and sit on customers money until complaints are lodged. Respond and deliver only when pushed. Very unprofessional.

DO NOT DO BISINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! I ordered a spa cover on October 7th 2019.Company charged my card on Oct 7th 2019. I called mutiple times inquirying on the status of my cover. every time I was given the run around. On December 18th I requested a refund they told me 150.00 cancelation fee. Decided to wait and see if I ever get a cover.On January 16th 2020 my cover finally arrived but was damaged so I had to refused it. Called there customer service they said 4-6 more weeks to replace the damaged cover. Not sure how this company stays in business. Safe yourself the frustration and order else wear. They did tell me today that they would issue a full refund we will see if that happens.

I ordered a spa cover on 10-27-19 and was told it would take 8 to 8 1/2 weeks to receive it. it is now 11 1/2 weeks and I haven't received my cover.
I have been trying to contact the company but everytime I call I'm directed to leave a voicemail. I left voicemails and also sent emails through their website but no one has gotten back to me. My debit card has been charged for the cover but I have not yet filed a complaint with my bank to get the funds back. Cost of the cover is $345.00

Desired Outcome

I want the company to send me what I ordered and paid for. Refund if necessary but I prefer to have the product. Also would like someone from the company to call me and explain the reason why I haven't received my cover and why no one has responded to my messages.

Your cover has been shipped with YRC. - Standard and you can track your shipment at yrc.com or by calling XXX-XXX-XXXX. - Please inspect the box prior to signing for the delivery. If there is any visible damage to the box itself, ask to see the cover. If there is any damage, refuse the shipment. Despite what the driver may tell you, you DO NOT have to sign for a damaged cover. If the cover is damaged and you refuse it, please call our office so that we can send a new cover to you immediately and file the freight claim on your behalf.
- Special Note: Any damage freight left with the customer, regardless of notices or notes on the delivery receipt do not guarantee a replacement cover is authorized. If you or someone receiving the shipment on your behalf sign for a damaged cover, the cover will be considered received in good condition. You will have to file the freight claim directly with the carrier. We will not be able to help you.
Please note: Some carriers pre-schedule their delivery appointments before the freight actually arrives at the local terminal. Please contact YRC. - Standard 24 hours before your scheduled delivery time to confirm the appointment.

Appointment times and dates are at the discretion of the individual freight carrier and are generally Monday through Friday between 8am and 6pm excluding weekends and holidays. Missed appointments will result in redelivery charges assessed by the freight carrier and are the sole responsibility of the receiver/consignee. Contractual agreements permit the shipment to be delivered to the customer's driveway only. Customers can not request spa covers to be brought to their tub, garage, etc. or to be installed. Requesting such may result in an additional freight charge assessed by the carrier and invoiced accordingly.

Absolutely terrible experience, don't buy anything from this company. I ordered my cover in Oct 2019, as of today, Jan 15th 2020, have not recv'd my spa cover. I was told on Dec 5th it would be shipped in 3 weeks, now I'm being told another 3 weeks. I don't think they have ANY intention on making and shipping my cover. I asked for a full refund and she said that would cost me $150 bucks. BS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Ordered and paid for cover oct. 23 2019. Have not received it or update on order.I placed an order
I placed an order oct 23 2019. After many calls a few weeks later they told me my order # XXXXX went into production nov 4. And should ship Jan 6. 2020 if not before. Have not received any update and haven't been able to get in touch with them.

I would like the cover soon or a credit to my credit card account

My husband and I ordered a hot tub cover on 11/3/19. We have not received it yet.
On 11/3/19, order number XXXXX, hot tub cover and three spa pillows, charged my card $405.00 and we have still not received our order. I tried to call and cancel my order but was told I could not cancel over the phone.

Desired Outcome

My order cancelled and my card refunded.

Company state 4-6 weeks for delivery has now been 12.Order 10/19/19.
10/19/19 order date.order numberXXXXX paid credit card for $430.00 on 10/19/19.when I called in approx. 6 weeks they send me a email stating if paid approx.$75.00 they would ship in 12 days.called again said 2 weeks,called again today they said two more weeks.I feel they bait you in to giving them more money it is twice as long as they said.
