Non existent customer service, complete failure to deliver
We ordered a spa cover and were assured deliver in 4-6 weeks, after 8 weeks of no delivery, we spent countless hours on the phone trying to get a human to respond. They assured they would send a free "cover protector" to help make things right. The Spa cover eventually arrived months late and was torn up during shipment. The free "cover protector" was never sent. We were assured a new cover was to be sent out 2 weeks later. Now 4 months later we have not received and company does not take calls nor return calls.I have never seen a company with an expensive product operate in such a criminal manner. I am unable to get my money back because too much time has passed and am stuck with a ripped, damaged cover that I paid full price for. This company should be shut down!

I placed an order for a spa cover on 7/20, and a $269 charge was put on my credit card 7/21. I received a call from the company on 7/27 advising that due to my location, I should pay an additional $51 for an upgrade, which I agree to and it was charged to my card on 7/28. Total amount $320. On 8/3, I received an email from the company stating that my spa cover was "in production". I've not received my cover and numerous emails and phone calls have been unanswered. I was somehow able to talk to an actual person, Nancy, by phone on 9/23, who assured me I'd be receiving a shipment tracking number by the end of week. That time has come and gone and I've been unable to get a response from the company. My order number is XXXXX.

Desired Outcome

I would prefer to receive the cover that I ordered, but if it's going to take weeks or months to receive it, I'd rather have my money back so I can go elsewhere.

Non delivery of hottub cover and cover lifter.
Today is 10/3/2019 , I ordered my hottub cover and cover lifter on 8/15/2019. I recieved a confirmation Email of my order and a comformation for registering my account on the website on 8/15/2019.the next Email I recieved was on 9/3/2019 telling me my cover was in production. weeks go by and no more communacation from Affordable spa. I have sent two Emails asking for an update on my order but have not been responded to, the first was on the website on the contact form, the second was from my email account to thier office email on 9/18/2019. I have left a message on the office awnsering machine asking for an update and have not been contacted back. I have sat on the phone waiting for someone to answer my call amd so far no answers. last time calling mas right now , im going through the revolving phone system between the elevator music and a voice telling me all sales associates are busy, been waiting an hour.my credit card was charged $430.00 on 8/18/2019 for this order , my order number is XXXXX

The spa cover I ordered on 7/30/19 has not been delivered.
I ordered a spa cover on 7/30/19 which I have not received. They charged my credit card on the day I placed the order. After receiving an email on 9/3/19 stating that my cover was in production, I've made several attempts to get a delivery date and I keep being told that it will ship in a week or two. It's now been over 9 weeks since I ordered and paid for this cover and now they won't return my phone calls or emails.

I ordered a spa cover on 7/15/2019. To date I have not received the cover despite multiple phone inquiries as to the status of my order.
I purchased a spa cover on 7/15/2019 to date I have not received it. The company is in Clearwater, Fl and I live in St. Cloud, Fl. so, I do not understand why it has taken over 2 1/2 months to receive my cover. Their website states "Free delivery" but their office person stated "I could come pick it up myself" because their "Local delivery person only works on Saturday. I believe they are being untruthful because what kind of business works like that? I would like a FULL refund of my money due to lack of delivery.

A spa cover was ordered and paid for but never delivered.
On July 21, 2019 I ordered a spa cover from Affordable Spa Covers and as of Oct. 1, 2019 I have not yet received the cover. I called on Sept. 12th and spoke to a sales representative who told it was ready and would ship the following Tuesday. He saidI would receive an email notice of the shipment. That notice was never sent. I called agin on Sept. 20th and after being on hold for 35 minutes, I finally spoke to a "customer service" representative. I asked for a full refund and they said they would refund the full purchase price. However, later that day I received an email invoice stating that a $30 refund was granted for "Late Shipping". I attempted to contact them via phone several times since but no one answers either the customer support line or their sales line. I have made many more attempts to contact via phone and they NEVER answer. I have also attempted to contact them via email several times but with the same result, I have NOT received a response. I wish I had read these reviews prior to ordering from them and I would have NEVER placed the order in the first place. I would never order from any company with an 'F' rating from the Revdex.com. I'm posting on FB and Twitter so others won't get taken by this less than reputable company.

They finally shipped my cover more than 2 months after I ordered it. It's interesting that only after filing a complaint to the Revdex.com was I able to get any action from this company. Please note that nobody answers their phone and even after leaving several messages, they NEVER respond. My recommendation to anyone reading this form is to avoid doing business with this company. They immediately charge your card when the order is taken but then never follow up with delivery until you complain to the Revdex.com.

No contact regarding delevery, called on 9/23/19 was hung up on. Sent e-mail same day no response.
Purchase date 9/11/19.via web site. Payment posted on my account 9/13/19 for $320.00.Order ID# XXXXX.

Spa Cover ordered and paid for 2 months ago, with no status update. Requested status by phone and EMAIL with no Response
Based on an EMAIL add in July for Spa Covers, we ordered and paid for a spa cover in July 20th 2019. Order ID: XXXXX. Offer was for Free Shipping. Cost $360 charged to VISA card.
No status (or Spa cover) has been received beyond Aug 8th .. in production. I tried to reach the company by EMAIL and phone with no response.

We really want the cover, but if they can't ship it soon, we what our money refunded so we can order from another company. Looking at other complaints, it appears they are well behind in orders.

Told me it was at the shippers 2 weeks ago.

Told me that I would be able to contact shipper
and arrange delivery.

Then they told me 2 months later that this was not the case.

The shipper would deliver it when they want to, and will not contact me.

They say that I can track it.

When I told them they lied to me about it, they said that tracking it was he same thing as me being able to speak directly to the shipper and arranging the delivery.

I have severe spine problems and cannot move the cover - need to be there when they deliver it. They said if I was not there, it would just be left at the door!

Then they said it was delayed by the shipper due to the hurricane.

I spoke to the shipoer today.

Said they never received it, and searched their warehouse to be sure and it was never sent!

Impossible to reach their customer service over the phone - they NEVER answer.

I emailed the "managers" 3 weeks ago - they never responded.

Customer service is never there

Wish to cancel order - when I told them that last week, they said it was too late because they had already shipped it.

Tied of their constant lies!!!

I ordered a hot tub cover on May 26, 2019 and I have not received it. I have called multiple times and keep getting the run around.
Hot tub cover ordered May 26, 2019. They charged my credit card immediately for this cover and stated I would receive it in 4 to 6 weeks. It is September 9, 2019 and I still do not have the product. I began calling in late July and finally got an email on August 5, 2019, stating my order was complete and shipped. I called two weeks later and was told that my item was still at the warehouse and they would ship immediately. I received an email on August 16, 2019, stating that it was sent to Forward Aire to ship and they gave me a tracking number. I called Forward Aire today and they said they never received the item and that Affordable Spa Covers cancelled the order. I have emailed and called Affordable Spa for a full refund and they do not respond. Please help me in getting a refund. I am a single mother of two and I need this money back. Terrible customer service and getting the run around.

I received an email with a tracking number on August 16, 2019 stating it was shipped. I called Forward Aire multiple times and they were waiting for the product to ship. On September 9, 2019, they informed me that Affordable cancelled the order and they never received the product to ship. I contacted Affordable on the same day and spoke with a Jeff. Jeff promised me that he would find out where my product was and would call me by the end of the day. I never received a return phone call. I was promised this product 6 weeks from the original order date in May. It is coming up on 5 months later. This company rarely answers their phone or returns emails. I want a full refund credited back to my credit card. Thank you, *** order #XXXXX

I don't care who lost the cover. I never received the product. I ordered this on May 26, 2019 with an anticipate shipment date in July. It is 5 months later and you are telling me that someone else lost it. That is not my problem. I have contacted my credit card company myself since you keep giving me the run around. I will never work with or recommend your company. I should have read the reviews online before I elected to do business with you.

The spa cover I ordered was delivered damaged & I do not have a replacement, a refund, or a call back.
On 6/3/19, I placed an online order #XXXXX for a light blue Spa Cover. After 1 month, I called for status & was told delivery would be 6-8 weeks from the order date.
On 7/29/19, the 8 week mark, I called & was advised shipment is delayed as the light blue vinyl that I selected was unavailable. I authorized a change of color to teal. 8 days later, UPS delivered a spa cover with large holes in the lightweight cardboard packaging & in the spa cover itself.
I took several photos of the damages, called the customer service #727 571-4371, left voice mail summarizing the events, & requested a call back.

The UPS driver noted the consignee memo "BOX RIPPED HOLES IN COVER". We discussed that I'd like to retain the damaged cover & get the company's permission to open the box & use it until the replacement is delivered. I believe this is fair considering (1) I was not advised it would take 9 weeks for delivery (2) I had no option to order from a company that could deliver an undamaged product sooner (3)I live in NY & the weather window to use my spa is almost gone now.

When my call was not returned, I called again on 8/7/19 & reached Christina who was helpful enough to provide the email address ***@affordablespacovers.com & requested that I forward the photos & a summary. I did just that at 4:25pm that same day.
I left voice mail on 8/9/19 10:05am; 8/13/19 11:17am; 8/14/19 at 2:30pm; called back & reached "Jeff" from Sales who answered the line before the options to press X began. Jeff promised to call me back on 8/15/19.
I did not receive a call from Jeff on 8/15/19 & on 8/16/19, I emailed ***@affordablespacovers.com that I would be contacting the Revdex.com.

Desired Outcome

I would like an immediate refund of my $410 payment & either permission to retain the damaged spa cover or a pick up with no charge to me.

WE shipped the cover to her on 7/31. The cover was damaged in shipping . She decided to get a refund compared to getting a replacement. The refund was issued on 8/16 . This should close this case.

Ordered a hot tub cover from Affordable hot tub covers on May XX XXXX. it is now August 8, 2019 and we have not received the cover.
On May 30, 2019 we ordered a hot tub cover from Affordable hot tub to the amount of $435.00. Money was posted on our account as collected by Affordable on June 3, 2019. It is now August 8, 2019 and we have not received our cover. Nor have we received any correspondence from Affordable. After repeated attempts, I was able to make contact by phone on July 10, 2019. Was advised that they were back logged and our cover should arrive in two weeks. Since that date I have made several attempts to contact Affordable again, with no success. Phone messages not returned. Have also attempted E-mails to them but their message page keeps stating that there were errors and the E-mail could not be sent. Even though I carefully check the E-mail page and was unable to find any errors. I tried at least six times, but continued to get the same Error message. We have been without a hot tub cover, (damaged in a storm) since a few days before our order was placed. We are retired and on a fixed income. We would like to receive a refund of the full amount as it appears that Affordable hot tub covers has no intention of sending us our cover. We would like the money freed up so that we can order a hot tub cover as soon as possible from a more reputable dealer. At this point, from the way they run their business, I do not want a hot tub cover made by them.

On August 8, 2019, I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com of West Florida against Affordable Spa Covers. I wish to drop the complaint against Affordable Spa Covers. We unexpectedly and without advance notice received our spa cover yesterday (August12, 2019) in late afternoon. We were not notified by the company that our spa cover was finished and on its way to us. The cover appears to be what we ordered and undamaged. I want to thank the West Florida Revdex.com for their attention to this complaint and their time working on it. If the complaint can be withdrawn and marked as 'customer satisfied', I would appreciate it and again thank you very much.

I am happy with the actual cover.

However, customer service is the worst. Very difficult to reach the company after several unreturned emails and voice mail messages I finally reached a person. First I was immediately put on hold and then the woman I spoke with was rude and did not listen to my concern. I clearly explained that the reason I went with them was the color of the vinyl. Her response was that they could send one of a completely different color and a different corner measurement?

I have made many attempts to collect money or the item I paid for back in March. The company doesn't response to phone calls or emails. I did not get the spa cover lift and I want my money back for an item they didn't have but sold to me anyway. The times I or my husband has spoken to them the "assure" us the lift is on the way, the only time you can speak with someone is if you accidentally catch them, otherwise they do not respond. This is terrible company and company service.

Much like CC, I too have not gotten my spa cover. I ordered it April 18. It said up to 3 1/2 weeks for delivery. I got the same message that they had run out of foam and expected this to be alleviated quickly. I then got an email on April 24 stating that my cover was in production. It is now 8 weeks later and I have gotten nothing. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

I have heard nothing since. I have sent emails, called, and have not gotten any response. I left a voice mail with my name and number asking for a call back; nothing. I called again today and got a voice mail from sales, from customer service, and from warranty service. No one will answer the phone.

I too am going to challenge the purchase on my credit card. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. There service is horrible. I think the Attorney General of Florida ought to investigate.

I placed my spa cover order on 4-22-19. Today, 6-19-19, I STILL do not have my cover. I've called multiple times. The latest call was last week and I was told they supplier was out of the vinyl and they had finally gotten it back in. They were backfilling orders and I should receive my order today. Well, I haven't gotten a call or anything to set up delivery so I called again. The lady then told me it would be a couple more weeks! I call ***! So potentially 10 TOTAL WEEKS for a cover?! I would've ordered from another company had I known this. I flipped and demanded a call back from a manager or supervisor today. They weren't currently available at 2pm because they were both on an hour break.
