I ordered a Spa cover 4/12/19 and it said the normal delivery is 4 weeks, it is June 10 and still no cover.
I can not get anyone to return my calls regarding a spa cover I ordered on 4/12/19, There website said it would take about 3-4 weeks to receive. I was told that they were out of the burgundy vinyl color and that I believe is a hoax, as they have no intention of sending me the product, they have now had my $345.00 payment for 7 weeks and I am out of a cover for my spa. No one will return my call or send me updates regarding the status. I would like the cover sent or my money refunded in full. Very shady company And I would never recommend them to anyone. Sounds like from the reviews that I am not the only one that has experienced the same issue.

Still waiting and trying to contact the company. The company charged me for my order. I received a confirmation email. I am still waiting ( 8 weeks now ) to hear from the company. They do not answer their phone and one number is disconnected. Their contact us for does not work.

I placed my order on April 2, 2019 using Affordable Spa Cover's website. Within the company's information, it is stated that the delivery time for most orders is 3 1/2 weeks. It is now May 20, 2019 and I have been waiting 7 weeks. Calling the business phone numbers only gives me a chance to leave a voice message, and maybe a return call the next day.

For warranty purposes, the cover must be inspected at the time of delivery by the person accepting delivery. Any damages must be noted at that time and the delivery refused. I explained that I have travel plans that I need to make and that I wanted to make those plans based on the shipment of my cover.

- In writing the company via email on April 23, 2019, I received the following reply on April 24, 2019:

You ordered about 2.5 weeks ago. We are running about 4.5 weeks right now
give or take a day. Below I am including some information about how to
handle the delivery when it comes to you. Should you need any further
information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

- In writing the company on May 7, 2019, I received the following reply later that day:

Your order cover went into production April 26th and is expected to go out any time after next week; if not earlier. We had shortness of the type of foam that some of orders needed to be ready for shipment and we are working hard to send the orders that went into production the 14th this week. Then move on to the 26th. Please be aware that we are doing our best to get your cover ready and send out to you as soon as possible. You will receive a tracking number once your order is on its way. Please follow the shipping instructions listed below as to how to handle the delivery of your cover. Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

- In writing the company again via email on May 16, 2019, I received the following reply on April 24, 2019:

We know that we have let you down, and for that we are very sorry. The demand for this popular item has exceeded our expectations, and our stock is depleted. However, we will deliver covers as soon as possible since our products are cut to order-hand made and quality is our number one priority. Your order went into production April 26th, and will not take long to get it ready and on the way to you.

- On three occasions an agent returned my phone call messages. In speaking with agent on May 16, 2019, I was told that they were backlogged with orders due to a huge demand for covers (1,200 instead of the usual 600) and that they had run out of foam. But now the foam had arrived and orders were being sent out. I reminded him of my required travel plans, which I now had to book for the last week of May until mid June. He told me that he would call me back later the next day, May 17, 2019, with an update to my order.

It is now May 20, 2019 and there has been no call with an update. I am planning to attempt a refund and spend the extra $40 to order my cover from a local spa business.

I have contacted them numerous times over the last 6 weeks and their response is the same. My spa cover has not even been made. Requesting refund.
I have called and there is no way to reach them via phone. When I email their response is always the same and that it will get out soon. It has been 6 weeks and nothing yet. Based on their numerous terrible reviews and bad Revdex.com rating, I do not think I will get my spa cover or refund without contacting Revdex.com.

Spa delivered damaged, returned and requested refund. No refund as of yet and no return correspondence.
I ordered a replacement hot tub cover from the company 1/18/2019. I was notified on 1/29/2019 that the cover was in production and would then be shipped. On 2/7/2019 we were notified by email that the cover had been shipped and that we be contacted to schedule the delivery as inspection of the cover was required. The carrier contacted us on 2/19/2019 that the cover was damaged and did we want to reject the delivery, which we did per the manufacturers directions for requesting a return or refund. On 2/22/2019 we received a confirmation email from Affordable that we had received damaged shipment. I spoke with the sales department on 3/4/2019 for a status, the gentleman that I spoke with was not able to find our order, so at that time I requested a refund, that we did not want them to resend a replacement cover. I received (2) emails from Affordable Spa 36/6/2019 1st was an auto generated email that our new cover had shipped and the second was an email from the sales department confirming my request for a refund, with an update that indeed a new cover had been sent and to let them know if we wanted to still receive a refund. Affordable then called my husband to inquire and he confirmed that we did not want the new cover and that we did expect a refund. We were once again advised to reject delivery of the new cover and that we receive our refund with in 10 days. My husband spoke to the sales department (Kevin) once again told that he would send an email to the finance department, but that he would be on vacation the following week so he was not sure when that would be issued. We have made numerous phone calls and left many, many messages and still have not received our refund. This ordeal has been 4 months in the making and we would like to have our money returned.

Hot Tub cover delivered with damage and company response is almost non-existent
Ordered a replacement spa cover around 1/28/19 (this is when my bank posted the payment) on order #XXXXX. Spa cover was delivered on 2/25/19. I signed for the delivery before the box would be removed from the UPS truck. There was some damage to the box when it came off. When I opened the box, I found part of the spa cover was torn and much of the center stitching was unraveling. The box also looked like someone had run a forklift into it. The cover is unusable in it's current condition. I called and emailed Affordable Spa Covers (ASC) on 2/26/19 and ended up talking with guy named Jeff, I believe. I had taken pictures and forwarded these along to ASC. Since then it has been a lot of vague responses from them. Right now they supposedly filed a claim with UPS and they are waiting to hear back from that. When I questioned them about the situation if UPS refuses the claim the answer I got was that there was nothing they could do except give me a discount on a replacement top. This is unacceptable. I should not have to pay $345 to receive a spa cover that is unusable and then be told they could let me order another one at cost to make it right. Nor should I buy a new cover and have to duct tape it together before trying to use it.

Desired Outcome

The resolution is simple. I still have the spa cover in the box. I would request Affordable Spa Covers refunds my money and pays for shipping this cover back to them.

While I never received my spa cover because I canceled the order, I had NO
problem reaching the company. Jeff and Steve took care of me and
canceled my order and I had full refund in 5 days credited to my account.
I was waiting for a fight but never got one and I was, and am, extremely happy.
Its nice to have good customer service for a change. After reading these poor

I am taking the time to write this review in hopes that I CAN HELP OTHER UNSUSPECTING SHOPPERS AVOID THE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAD WHEN ORDERING A SPA COVER FROM AFFORDABLE SPA COVERS. I shopped online and while their prices were comparable to other online Spa Cover Companies, their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING. IT is VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK WITH THEM ON THE PHONE, AS ALL OF THEIR CALLS GO TO AN ANSWERING SERVICE; AND YOUR CALL WILL NOT BE RETURNED. SO YOU ARE LEFT WITH THE ONLY METHOD OF COMMUNICATION AS EMAIL. While the website is convenient to place the order, the TESTIMONIAL section of their website does not show actual dates, which should have been a clue, that these TESTIMONIALS are FAKE. Ok...Now for the DETAILS OF MY NIGHTMARE, HAVING PURCHASED A SPA COVER FROM AFFORDABLE SPA COVERS IN CLEARWATER, FLORIDA. I purchased a Spa Cover from www.affordablespacovers.com via VISA with upgrades on 10/10/18 for $370 (Order#XXXXX).The next day, 10/11/18, I received an Email stating that I would have to pay an additional $35 to SPLIT THE CORNERS OF THE SPA COVER SKIRT. This was aggravating, since other online Spa Cover Stores did not list an additional fee for this; however, since I had already placed the order, I moved forward and had them add this fee to my order (Now the Spa Cover cost me $405.) Long Story Short, Affordable Spa Covers website states that your Spa Cover will be delivered in 3 1/2 weeks, and, MY SPA COVER WAS DELIVERED IN 8 WEEKS. NOW...You need to know that at 3 weeks, I received an Email with a TRACKING NUMBER, stating that the Spa Cover had shipped. When I went to the Shipping website, and entered the TRACKING NUMBER it WAS NOT FOUND. Long Story Short, several Emails and FIVE (5) days later they Emailed me ADMITTING that they HAD EMAILED ME THE WRONG SHIPPING NUMBER, and that THE SHIPPING COMPANY WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE SPA COVER. THIRTEEN DAYS LATER, AFFORDABLE SPA COVERS STATED THAT THEY WOULD MAKE ME A NEW SPA COVER AND SHIP IT OUT NEXT WEEK. I am requesting that Affordable Spa Covers issue a $50 CREDIT/REFUND TO MY CHASE VISA Credit Card, SINCE they Emailed the WRONG Tracking Number, causing inability to contact the shipping company, which ultimately caused the SPA COVER to be lost. When the Cover was found, it was said to be damaged, and Affordable Spa Covers stated they would not create/ship a new cover until they received back the damaged cover. Affordable Spa Covers advertises FALSELY "Expedited Production & Shipping" of 3 1/2 weeks, and I received my Spa Cover in 8 WEEKS. I SHOULD BE GRANTED A GOOD WILL GESTURE OF $50 CREDIT TO MY CHASE VISA CARD BECAUSE OF AFFORDABLE SPA COVERS FALSE ADVERTISING on their website.

Mold in less then 4 months appeared on the vinly cover. I sent pictures to the company and sales agreed that it needs to be replace but was not yet.
The brainiacs from the sales department try to be nice and take your order and money but they seem to have trouble understanding the true customer need.
I sent pictures of my current spa cover so they could try to match the color. They could see that the color I have is brown so they recommended almond color. I am not sure what they were thinking but the outside of an almond is brown so I thought it would match, but it appears that almond is really the inside color of it which is really white. How can sales screw this up so bad?
Also, the vinyl cover grew mold within 4 months. I sent pictures to the sales department and they even agreed that it was defective and needed to be replaced. They said they would contact the manufacturing department and would resolve my issue but after numerous calls and emails, still no resolution.

I was told I was eligible for the warranty and I never received the hot tub cover.
I purchased a hot tub cover in August 2016.There is a 5 year warranty. After one year the cover became so heavy my wife could not lift it and I had difficulty also. The vinyl started ripping also. I started the warranty process back in august 2018. My case number is # XXXXX. I called the company about the issue several times and was told the warranty department was not available. After many phone calls I spoke with Jeff. I sent Jeff the photos of the cover on September 3,2018 and he informed me I was eligible for a replacement cover and I was to pay the shipping cost of $134.00. I agreed to this and gave him my credit card information. A few weeks passed and I did not get any response or receive the cover. I called Jeff AGAIN and he informed me that NOW the warranty department (whom I have never spoke to directly) want the vinyl returned. They want to show it to their supplier to see why it cracked and failed. They want me to pay for the return shipping of the vinyl before they will ship the replacement hot tub cover. It is now November 2018 and the leaves are falling and the nights are very cold in Pa. I cannot leave the hot tub uncovered to WAIT for them to diagnose and ship a replacement cover.I emailed them on November 3,2018 about this same issue and have not had any response. On November 6 they emailed back with this response This arrangement still stands. If you want to get through the winter first , "we understand." "Try to make it through & you can do this in the spring". This is unsatisfactory because they changed their guidelines and I can NEVER leave my hot tub uncovered. It does not matter if it is winter or spring. This is the second hot tub cover I have purchased from this company. The first one lasted 3 years before it became water logged and TOO heavy to use. I did not pursue the warranty. I just purchased a new cover.

I would like a hot tub cover replacement. I will pay the $134.00 shipping. I will not pay to return the damaged vinyl because this would bring the cost up to a brand new cover. I am willing to send the damaged vinyl back for their research at THEIR cost.I will still have to dispose of the Styrofoam that is water logged because it did not seal correctly.

Hot tub cover failure in less than 10 months
Hot tub cover Order ID XXXXX, paid by Fidelity VISA $395.00, ordered November 7,2017 received late Dec 2017, put into service at vacation home (126 miles oneway) January 2018. We used our vacation home in Feb, June, July the lid was not defective at those times. On Oct 12 the lid was defective in the manor that it had taken water on both sides making the lid weigh a large amount. I contacted Affordable they asked that I take pictures. I drove the 252 miles round trip to take pictures sent10-15-18 them by email. Didn't hear from them, called them spoke to TIM told me they were reviewing. Called 10-24 spoke Tim said they need more than the 8 picture I sent. Told him you can clearly see water running out of the lid when it is lifted and that the tub is 252 miles away. Tim said he would relay. Called 10-25-18 left message. Called 10-26-18 spoke to TIM, TIM SAID they would replace the foam. I have two hot tubs currently at my homes. I have had over the years more than 8 tubs. I have replaced lids since 1977 more than 12 times. I one time back in the 1980's ordered just the foam. THERE IS NO WAY OF PUTTING THE FOAM INTO A COVER ONCE IT HAS BEEN ON A TUB. The cover shrinks. I told Tim this is unacceptable. Tim said he would get back to me. I called 10-29 TIM said to send and email AGAIN stating my objection to just the foam. TIM stated someone would get back to me. Nov 1, call TIM nothing. 11-7 call spoke to Jeff send more pictures NO. Called 11-28-18 DAVE said to send the cover and they would put foam in.I SAID IT IS WINTER WE HAVE ALREADY HAD MANY SNOW STORMS AND MANY NIGHTS IN SINGLE DIGITS HOW CAN I SEND THE COVER AND LEAVE MY TUB OPEN OUTSIDE.
As I have stated I have had many hot tubs over the years and purchased (without problems) many covers. This cover has NO DAMAGES TO IT FOR IT TO HAVE FAILED BUT, IT HAS FAILED. I have never had a cover fail in less than 10 months (we were there in July when we were there in Oct the cover had failed)
Affordable Spa Covers does not want to stand behind its WARRANTY.

Received spa with puncture through interior lining and double wrap styrofoam. Fright company referred us to Affordable Spa and they said to patch it.
Purchased cover on 8/15/18 and received it 2 weeks later. Had puncture interior lining and double wrap styrofoam. Freight company referred us to Affordable Spa who told us to patch it. Pool company said glue would damage it more. Now, Affordable will not take our calls or answer emails.

Desired Outcome

I would like a new cover. I would accept a replacement styrofoam insert along with a written guarantee stating our warranty is still good.

I called Affordable using a different phone number and they answered (they didn't know it was me) .They said patch the cover. I asked about the warranty and they said even if the cover fills with water they will only replace the Styrofoam and charge $150.00 for shipping. I asked about their F rating by Revdex.com and they said its because they are not a Revdex.com member. Said they would send patch but never did. Very shady company.

I ordered a spa cover and lift on april 17-2018 it is now may 29-2018. no cover or lift. almost impossible to receive return calls.
as stated, order was made april 17-2018. as of may 29-2018 still no cover or lift. made several calls during this time frame and kept getting recording. sent email and got reply that company had problem with fone system and could not return long distance fone calls. finally contacted my credit card company to dispute charges made by affordable spa covers. within hrs affordable spa covers called and stated that they were experiencing high volume of orders and that the couldn't get the lift. I responded that I needed the cover and the lift could follow when they could get one and ship it later. today I get an email that my cover had been shipped on may 28-2018---labor day.

don't advertize two and a half week delivery from time of order. return fone calls. let customers know if there is a back order problem. don't give some b.s. story about having fone problems for a month.

Placed order on 4/3/18 for a custom hot tub cover. Paid $305.00. This money has been taken out of my bank account. The order is listed as "pending" in my account. Received a call from *** @ XXX-XXX-XXXX She wanted to know if I received the product. I have not received the product or any further correspondence from the company.

I will preface this review by saying that it is unsolicited; I felt it was proper to add my positive experience to the collection of negative reviews, which basically only reflect the poor timing of the deliveries. I only checked the Revdex.com rating after I placed my order, so I began to worry that we would have trouble. However, the process of ordering was simple and pleasant. The representative was patient and knowledgable, and didn't pressure us in any way to complete our purchase. He even helped us with the phone number of our spa company, so that we could contact them regarding the dimensions. He was clear about the time frame, we were updated via email throughout production and shipment. The spa cover was received in the time that was agreed upon, and it fit perfectly. The quality and aesthetics were also excellent. For the price we paid, we feel we got excellent value. We would definitely recommend this company to others.

Cover failed after 8 months. Said I would have to pay for shipping for new inserts. Jeff said since the cover was only 8 months old they would pay for the one foam insert. Now he says no and either I pay or I don't get the repaired part. Buyer beware.

I received a custom order form this company. The item does not fit properly and the company is stonewalling me on the issue.

I contacted the Affordable Spa Cover Company located in *** Florida on 31 May 2017. I placed an order for a custom sized swim spa cover and a custom all-weather cover to protect against the elements. The order was placed via phone due to the custom size. Oder Numbers***(spa cover) and ***(all-weather cover)
I received my custom sized order from the Affordable Spa Cover Company on 13 July 2017. The swim spa cover, order # XXXXX, appeared to be well made and fit the swim spa as expected. The all-weather cover, order # XXXXX, looked well-constructed, however it did not fit over the new swim spa cover or the cabinet of the sim spa. I contacted the Affordable Spa Cover Company immediately via e-mail to address my concerns regarding the all-weather cover. I included photos depicting the failure of the all-weather cover to property fit over the swim spa cover and cabinet as it was designed to do.
I corresponded with the Affordable Spa Cover Company sales department for approximately a week via e-mail and phone conversations. I provided numerous photos and measurements at the request of the Affordable Spa Cover Company. This dialogue continued until 21 July 2017. At that point, the communications seemed to shift at the Affordable Spa Cover Company's end. I continued to request status on the issue via phone and e-mail. The Affordable Spa Cover Company continued to state they were looking into the issue. I sent several requests to resolve the issue via e-mail and received what appeared to be stonewalling tactics on the part of the Affordable Spa Cover Company's Sales Department.
It has now been over four weeks. I have received no pertinent information from the Affordable Spa Cover Company. I have not been afforded any opportunity to speak to any manager or anyone at the Affordable Spa Cover Company with the positional authority to make a decision in the matter.
I have acted in good faith while attempting to continue a dialog with the Affordable Spa Cover Company. It seems at this point they are simply ignoring my requests to resolve this issue. Any reasonable person would deduce that four weeks is a sufficient time-period to resolve this issue. I am asking for the Revdex.coms assistance in this matter
