Not delivering the product I paid for.

On 11/23/2019 we ordered a hot tub cover for $400. The website says 4-6 weeks turnaround. Today is 1/9/2020 and 6 weeks. I called to check on status and they said it will actually take 11 total weeks, 5 more weeks. And they will charge me $150 to cancel my order.

What an absolute scam! They need to be shut down.

I want to be refunded for my purchase in full, and have the order cancelled. They say they will charge me $150 to cancel my order!!

This business is a scam. Misleading online advertisement, false guarantees, non-delivery. Ordered spa cover on Oct 7, 2019. No response since ordering, now Jan 4, 2020. No response to inquiries.

Ordered hot tub cover on 10/12/19. Promised delivery 3 different dates. Still no delivery. Now 1/17/20 but will it come!! They have my money!

I finally received my order! 15&1/2 weeks after I ordered it. The pushed my order back 3 times. My cover is fine. Never will use them again. Thank you!!

I order a spa cover in April, 2019 and have not received it as for December 26, 2019. They have charged my credit card for it
Every time I have called which has been numerous times, they have many excuses as to why they have not made it and sent it from they don't have the color to, they need a template, which I sent in back immediately, they cut it wrong, they are working on it, they have put it as a priority order. The last couple of times, it should be done and check your email for a tracking number, which I never have received. They charged my credit card at the time of my order and have never offered to credit it or refunded it. I am in desperate need of a cover and would just like them to complete the order, and sent it. Thank you

Affordable Spa Covers, ordered spa cover in October it is now end of December called twice. They now have informed me it possibly could be delivered in January. Warning to customers out there not sure if this is a legit business. If it is they do not care about customer service one bit, beware. To cancel order they want 150.00 sounds like a scam to me. I'm not sure if I will ever get the cover. They do not care!! Good Luck if you order from these people. Zero Stars

we placed the order October 26th today December 19th we have received a email long time ago mentioning order is processing but then we havenot have received any email neither calls even we 're trying to reach them not sure they even get there voice mail or not.

Super shady company!!! I'm just glad I was able to get my credit card company involved early on before they had a chance to rip me off

I ordered a hot tub cover and lift on 10/13/19 and still have not received it over two months later!
I placed my order (#XXXXX) on 10/13/19 for a hot tub cover and lift. On 11/04/19 I received an email that my order was "in production". Their website claims that orders are in delivery 4-6 weeks after order, I was not to concerned.

On 11/27/19 I called and inquired where my order was and I was told it would be another 4 weeks. I immediately wrote their customer service a note after I got off the phone expressing my concern about the delivery of their product with no response from the company.

This timeline has passed and I cannot get anyone to answer the phone. I am concerned that I have been taken. $519.00 was processed out of my debit card account on 10/15/19. I do not know if I will ever see the hot tub cover and lift or my $519.00.

I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I would like a quick update on the delivery of my product with a substantial promise of satisfaction. I would like to know: -When the order will be available for shipment. -The freight carrier, and all freight information up to and including delivery date. If delivery cannot be met, I would like a full refund of the product so I may purchase from another vendor.

Spa Cover ordered on Sept 23 it is now Dec 17, I have not received it to find out they have not even made it yet. Cancelled order, requested a refund.
I placed a order to have a Spa cover made to specifications on September 23, 2019 for $269.00. On October 2, I called them asking why I had not received a receipt for the funds debited from my bank account. Then they said that they needed another $51.00 to make it out of outdoor materials, of which I paid. Total purchase was now $320.00 of which my bank account was debited immediately. I did receive a receipt on Oct 2, 2019. Delivery was to be 4-6 weeks. I placed several calls to confirm that my measurements were correct and to get a delivery date. Customer service had no information. They said "no news was good news" on whether measurements were accepted. I called again 6 weeks later, November 1st to find out when it was to be delivered and what the hold up was. They said that it would take a couple weeks longer to 8 weeks of production. I called again on December 10, 2019 to find out why we had not received the spa cover yet. Customer Service said it was to be delivered the next week of December 16. Then I received a call from them on the morning of December 17th saying that the measurements were not correct. The product had not even been made 3 months later! I cancelled my order and requested a full refund. We'll see how long it takes to get this refund. I will be calling my bank. This company really needs to be looked at. They stall and are not forth coming about what actually is happening on their end. The additional request of $51.00 I believe is a scam.

I think that they need to modify/discontinue their advertising claim. in addition to issuing a refund on a purchase that they were not forth coming about.

I placed an order with Afforable Spa Covers on 10/29/19. They responded today my order will be shipped1st wk of Jan, UNLESS I pay 74.99 to expidite.
Purchased 10/29/19, still in production (12/10/19. . . due to ship 1st wk of Jan) UNLESS I pay $74.99 and they will produce it in ten days. So, that means that anyone paying the EXTRA (extorted) money will jump in front of my production and then who knows how long it will take to receive my paid for cover. Ordered 10/19/19 order #XXXXX, delivery date (per Affordable Spa email to me dtd 12/10/19) first week of January. Their advertising states "fastest turnaround" BUT I assume that applies ONLY if you pay $74.99 for expedited handling, in that case everyone who does pay that (extorted amount) goes to the 'front-of-the-line' and my ALREADY PAID for order gets bumped to the bottom! NOT a good practice, tell us straight up it will be months not weeks for order completion. It has been difficult to contact Affordable Spa Covers (on their NOT toll free number) long wait, or leave message (good luck). Email worked quickly but answer NOT expectable. Expected delivery was 6-8 weeks NOT (estimated) 11 week minimum.

Today 1/8/20 @ approximately 12 noon I called Affordable Spa Covers and they now have informed me that the October 2019 orders are just beginning to be processed and that I can expect mine (ordered mid Oct.) in 2-3 weeks! It was mentioned that they had shut down for the holidays and that was one reason they are behind. I contend that MY order is being pushed back because if you pay more you get your cover made first. I feel mislead about how long the entire process would take. I WOULD have taken my business elsewhere if the company had been TRUTHFUL and told me up-front that it would take months not weeks to get my cover. Shame on them

Prior email dtd 12/10/19 beginning order, from Affordable Spa Covers, "Thank you for shopping with us. You ordered about 6 weeks ago. This order will be out the first week of January. We have an expedited shipping option; it is 74.99 added to your order. If you add this option, your hot tub cover order can be built and shipped within 10 business days once we receive your completed order".

I was contacted via email, by Affordable Spa Covers, on2/3/20 @ 6:54pm that my cover is in transit. This is the first communication I have received from them regarding my spa cover, since 12/10/2019 (see above excerpt "quoted" from their email)
I am VERY disappointed/dissatisfied with the service (not) provided by the manufacturer. I was lead to believe my cover would be in production within a few weeks of ordering and that I could expect to received it in 6-8 weeks . . . it has been 14 weeks! Additionally it is unacceptable to me that for $74.99 you can go to the front of the list, thus pushing back EVERY OTHER ORDER . Hopefully it will arrive intact. God forbid that I would have to deal with Affordable Spa Covers again to have it re-made.

There has never been a 'proposed resolution'. Affordable Spas has basically ignored myself and the Revdex.com. Their final response was "we shipped it 2/3/2020).

The spa cover was sent 2/3/230 but not delivered until 2/11/20. Yes the product was delivered.

In the business world I would assume that Affordable Spa would strive for a better rating then "AWFUL" from a customer.

Please keep in mind that I initially ordered the cover 10/29/19! It took 15 WEEKS to arrive. The advertised turn around time was stated as 4-6 weeks. The issue I have is the 'extortion' they OFFER for $74.99 to put (those that pay) to the top of the list.

It was disappointing that the company never reached out durning this time. It is deceptive advertising to say 4-6 weeks and it turns out to be 15 WEEKS. I do believe, that because of the $74.99, they should make it clear from the get go that it will more likely be longer because $74.99 let's you jump the que. NOT GOOD BUSINESS.

I would not recommend this company, it's business practice is deceptive.

looks to have signed & accepted the delivery . I can't seem to print the documentation , but it is on the YRC site. EVERY cover we send out gets this instruction about how to handle the delivery . I don't see any notices from Ms. to us about any issues . It looks like the delivery was completed & she signed for it . There is a document in the YRC site with her signature also . I can't print it or I would. There is really nothing else I can do . WE send instructions to give back covers that are damaged . See below.

There has never been a resolution to my complaint. They have not acknowledge any responsibility for their shipping time frame MISLEADING info. In my case, it is apparent, to me, that not having paid the $74.99 EXTRA equates to being put at the bottom of the list. No six to eight weeks delivery time for me . . . ACTUAL DELIVERY TIME 15 WEEKS.

Affordable Spas response "she accepted delivery". So that makes it okay that it took FIFTEEN WEEKS . . . no!

I would never do business again with Affordable Spa Covers.

Ordered, promised delivery several times by 'end of week'. No contact from company with estimated delivery yet.
I ordered a cover Sep 11, 2019. The estimated delivery was 4-6 weeks. 8 weeks later I received an email saying it was 'in production'. Contacted several times both my email and phone. Now at 3 months, still haven't received an estimate of when it will be shipped. Credit card bill came and paid weeks ago.

After 6 inquiries the cover was finally sent (3 1/2 months after the order date). Their freight carrier said would be delivered between 9am and 3pm. At 4:00 I called to see if there was a problem. They stated "oh, it didn't make it to the freight dock". That also would have been nice to know so we didn't waste the day waiting on something that wasn't coming. The delivery guy dropped it off and walked away because the box was ripped open ripped open. There was no damage so I signed for it. Never ordering from them again!

I ordered a new cover on June 2019. Today it's December 6, 2019 and I have not received it. When I call they say they'll call back or email with an update. Never do they. When I email they make excuses and give me deadlines that do not come true. I live in Wyoming with three feet of snow and no cover for my hot tub! Do not order from them, I'm sure you can find other reliable business that have better customer service and will make the product for you in a reasonable time.

I ordered spa cover Oct. 4th. As of today, Nov. 27th, I haven't receive my order (almost 2 mo's.). My calls to customer service haven't been returned.
By credit card on Oct. 4, 2019, I ordered a spa cover from Affordable Spa Covers for a price $320. As of today, Nov. 27, 2019 (almost 2 months), I haven't received my order. I've called customer service multiple times & left voice mails. I've received no responses to my voice mails. In addition, I've received no communications from Affordable Spa Covers as to the status of my order, nor when I should expect to receive my spa cover. When I ordered on-line, the company's advertising touted high quality spa covers at low prices. There's a free shipping option, but "quick delivery" is promised. Nowhere on the company's website nor in their advertising, does it say that delivery could take as long as two month or longer to receive orders. At the very least, Affordable Spa Covers is guilty of false & misleading advertising. At the most, and what I'm beginning to believe, the company is a total scam & should be exposed for who they are & shut down!!

I was notified my order (XXXXX) was shipped 11/6/19. tracking number provided was not for my order. As of 11/22 product not delivered,
My order (XXXXX) was placed 9/6/2019 and was to be shipped to my home in Fort Myers, FL. A Credit card payment was processed on 9/7 for which payment was made. I was notified on 11/6 that my unit was shipped via Forward Air (FA) (XXX) XXX-XXXX. A tracking number was provided (XXXXXXXX) which turned out to be for a different customer order. On 11/7 Customer Service at ASC told me to contact Forward Air to resolve the issue. They, FA could not find my order in their system without a correct tracking number. After many, many calls to customer service I was given a new tracking number (XXXXXX). This number in Forward Air's system also proved to be a bogus number: traceable to two other customers shippments. After many more calls to ASC's Customer Service I was told someone from Forward Air would call me to provide information that would resolve this issue. Obvieously I HAVE BEEN LIED TO BY AFFORDABLE SPA COVER all along..

I want Affordable Spa Cover to ensure delivery of my cover as ordered within this comming week. It should not take more than a few days (2 or 3?) to go from Clearwater to Fort Myers ( about 135 Miles). Note I was told by ASC Customer Service that Forward Air has acknowledged they have my cover at their Tampa location. I want a Management Representative of Affordable Spa Cover "NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE" to contact me with reliabile and accurate delivery information.

Ordered and paid on 10/4; delivery anticipated mid November. Company now claims shipping will not occur for a month (December 16th)
Spa cover ordered on October 4th, credit card paid for product at that time. Site claims delivery will be within 4-6 weeks. Email on November 4th noted cover was in production. I contacted the site on November 20th after waiting 7 weeks. They now claim the shipping will not occur until December 16th!

Regarding order #XXXXX - Unable to obtain status-phone out of service, no response to communication on their site. 8 weeks since order placed.
Order XXXXX placed on the weekend of 9/21/19. Full amount charged on 9/23/19. Initially communicated with the company representative that stated the cover would take 6-7 weeks to manufacture and deliver. On 10/16, I received an email from the company that the cover was in production. I have been trying to call for the last two weeks and the phone is either out of service or I am disconnected. I have left 2 messages on their site and responded to the last email they sent on 10/16/19, but have not received a response.

I ordered a spa cover and it was delivered damaged. I refused the delivery and have asked for a refund. No refund and no returned calls.
I ordered and paid $524 for a spa cover online on August 18th. The cover was finally delivered on November 1, 2019 via UPS tracking number XXXXXXXXX. Upon instruction of Affordable Spa Covers email, I was to check the product for damage upon delivery. If was damaged I was to reject the delivery. Indeed the item was damaged - it was cut and I rejected delivery. I have a signed form from the UPS delivery driver to support this rejection of the delivery. I have called the company on multiple occasions to request a refund. I have never been able to get a human on the phone, I am only able to leave a message. I have left detailed messages and no one calls me back. In addition, I have contacted the company via email and they have failed or refused to respond to my emails as well. I would like to get a refund for the $524 I paid in August for the spa cover.

The company has credited my credit card for this refund. They only responded when I reported this to my credit card company. They are a terrible company as they do not respond.

My husband and I ordered a hot tub cover from this company on August 10th, 2019 knowing it would take between 4-6 weeks (possibly 8) before it would be shipped (free shipping). On September 3rd we received notification that our item was in production. That is where the communication stopped. My husband contacted the office at the beginning of October to inquire about the status and was met with the simple statement "they were backed up" - we get it, but communication would have been key. About two weeks later (roughly 10-11 weeks after we ordered) my husband received a call from UPS telling him that they are unable to deliver the cover that we would either have to meet them at another address and pick up the cover or pick up the cover from one of their hub locations. My husband and I don't have large vehicles so picking it up is out of the question. When asked why it is not able to be delivered we were told that UPS Freight (who Affordable Spa Covers has a contract with) will not deliver to our drive way. Apparently I live in too rural of an area for them to deliver - I live off of a two lane road where semis, dump trucks, and a bunch of other cars frequent since it connects with a major highway at the other end. Also, my driveway is not some long narrow gravel driveway that would be considered a private road. My house is located 50 feet from the road with a ride driveway that FedEx Freight, dump trucks dropping off asphalt millings, and other large trucks have had no problem getting in and out from.

When I contacted Affordable Spa Covers and spoke with a lady she said it was my responsibility to call them up and notify them that my driveway was too small. I told her they were in possession of my address for over 10 weeks before the item shipped and I was told their system does not have the ability to geographically check whether or not an item would be able to be shipped. I ended up speaking with a manager (John maybe?) and was told he would look in to the shipping issue and call me back. I never received a call back. Instead I received an e-mail from their generic sales@ e-mail address with no signature at the bottom telling me they were going to have the cover shipped back to them and a refund would be issued once they received it. I responded back asking for them to provide me the total amount that would be refunded. I received a phone call from the first lady telling me that of the $294.00 order they would only be refunding me $94.00 and charging me a $200.00 cancellation fee. I asked how on earth I am getting charged a $200 fee when they are not able to make good on their delivery and she said (and I kid you not) that her delivery department told her that my 75"x66" hot tub cover could be folded down to 37.5"x33" and easily fit in my vehicle. Yes, the lady told me the hot tub cover could be folded in to quarters. I had to explain to her a few times and eventually had her agree that what she was telling me was extremely dumb and not possible (this lady, after the days I've encountered her, she really only follows a script - there is no in between for her).

Eventually I was told I would receive a call back and never did. I filled a charge back through my bank and the issue has been resolved. They have the cover back and I have my money back - I did receive my $94.00 refund from them and the bank provided a charge back for the remaining $200.00. I will never order from this company again. Judging from the other issues I see here, I notice that they feel the need to pass the burden of blame to the customer when it comes to issues with the carrier they choose to deliver their product. I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering in the first place.

spa cover received damaged. reported immediately (delivered July 29th) to company. Nothing has been done to date.
Our custom made spa cover manufactured by Affordable Spa Covers was received damaged from Forwardair freight company July 29, 2019 . Reported this to Affordable Spa Cover same day it was received. Paid with a Visa. Ordered in June 2019, received cover end of July (7 weeks). Order number XXXXX. Freight company had apparently dragged the box to create a hole which in turn ripped a piece of the hot tub cover off. Affordable said they would file a claim with the freight company. I never heard back from Affordable. Kept sending them emails to find out what they were going to do about it. I sent pictures, they asked if skin and plastic was ripped. I told them just the skin. They said they sent two patches which were never received. I told them we didn't get them. I told them to resend. That didn't happen either. I gave them a week's notice to get a "skin patch" to us before I would report them. I even left a message with their customer service department and I didn't get a call back from them either. I was never given a name on these emails going back and forth. Only had "Sales" as to who was responding to my emails. So here we are 3 months later and still no resolution. Affordable sent the order as a no call, no signature delivery which is the opposite of what they advertised they would do. We were expecting a call and to inspect then sign for it. We found it left in front of our garage. Forwardair didn't even knock on our door and we were home. I reported it to Forwardair with their order number XXXXX and PRO number XXXXXXXX. Still nothing came from that either. We paid a lot of money for this spa cover only to received it damaged with no response from anyone to rectify the issue.

All we were wanting is to receive the skin patch that matched the material we ordered. At first they acted like they were going to replace the cover. Then they kept delaying resolution. If they can't send us the "patch" then they can produce a replacement cover exactly as we ordered or refund us our money. We didn't pay for a damaged. We paid over $400 for this cover.

We asked for a repair patch that matches the material made. They sent a white or clear (cant tell until it is peeled away from the backing). This doesnt help as we will still see the large tear. The material is brown. They are supposedly send us some material that will match.

What a shoddy job sewing on the tie down straps, Thread hanging not even, cant adjust. Seams not sealed. I'll never buy from them again. Oh and took forever to get here 6 to 8 weeks. Ha
