This past Saturday, August 27th, our hot water heater developed a leak; we called our heating & cooling provider, [redacted] but his company did not handle water heaters, He recommended Al Coronado Plumbing We called and contacted [redacted] who came to our home as advertised, and analyzed our problem in an efficient professional mannerLaid out cost options, and made it relatively easy to make a decision without shopping around The next day, again as advertised, [redacted] proceeded to do the heavy lifting so to speak, as he installed a new hot water heating unitOnce again, most impressive! As the former president & CEO of a public corporation, I like professionalism in any form, and your two representatives did a fine job of representing your company

On Friday October 8th I was called by my Mom in Tucson, I am in Missouri, that she had a plumbing problem I talked to *** about the problem and decided that the best course of action was to fly to Tucson as my Mother was in bad health and had breathing problems *** met me on Monday and the work was already in process *** and *** had taken over and doing a Great Job Thanks to both of them for the care of my Mother and the work was above what I was hoping forThanks to those two for caring for my Mom and the perfect work they were doing They worked for days and performed above average as far as I was concerned
*** *** went above and beyond his job duties He rehung the door to the wash room that was not closing properly while waiting for the hot water heater to drain He is very professional and a very nice person to talk with I highly recommend that you ask for him whenever calling Al Coronado Plumbing

Hired this company to clear drainClean out was done and service was fineTwo days later received phone call from company strongly urging me to spend an additional $to clean out the pipes so problem would not come backBecause the water damage was extensive, affecting the entire living area of my home,I did seriously consider the extra charge, but instead decided to consult with plumber I have used in the past who did not have equipment to do the jobHe stated that because pipes are plastic once the drain is cleared the problem should be taken care of so the $charge was not warrantedHe referred me to another heavy duty plumber who stated he would have done the job that Coronado charged me $for less than $My complaint is two foldThis company's charges are very high and they use high pressure sales tactics that take advantage of vulnerable populations to do justify work that is not needed
I came back after being away for weeks only to find that my sewer line was backed upThis was the third time it has happened so I decided to call professionals - AL CORONADO PLUMBING who had helped my neighbor and were wonderful! I didn't know if there were any clean-out valves as none were visibleBeing from the north, I had found this troubling when I first moved into the house as all the rest of my life, the clean-out has always been very visible*** ** came out within an hour and a half after my call (after hours) and ran his camera down through the roof and located the blockageHe marked it and went over the options with me and said a crew would be out the next dayThe problem was under a bricked area and at that point we didn't know if there were valves in thereThe next morning *** ** and *** showed up and went to work pulling up a large area of bricks and carefully laying them out in the pattern that they had been in on the groundIt was up against a garden and they were very careful not to damage any of the plants (thank you!)After the bricks were up, they laid a tarp and dug and dug dirt that went onto the tarpThey found that there were pipe clean-outs and a very rusted central area that had lost a screw and someone had applied a C-clamp to keep things togetherIt was a mess and was causing the problem so they cut it all out, put in new clean-out drains facing the 'correct' directionThey put a new central piece in that is used to stop any sewer back flow should flooding occurThen they relaid dirt, sand and relaid the brickingThis time the tops of the sewer pieces are level with the bricking so they are very visible and accessible, but not dangerous to anyone walking over themThis required cutting bricks and very carefully measuring the pipes so that everything would be levelAl Coronado, himself, came out to check on the cutting of the bricks as that is not a part of plumbing! They were prompt, polite, and did FABULOUS workThey are my plumber now for my Tucson home!! Thank all of you so much!
