I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Situation: 1: This was a group ticket.2: Multiple members in the group were under the allotted kg allowed.3: I specifically mentioned two members which were a combined kg underweight.4: I had two checked pieces. One weighed kg. The other weighed kg.5: Instead of crediting me the weight that other members in my party were under, Qatar charged me for being kg over at $a kilo for a grand total $for the baggage alone. Addressing Qatar's response: “The baggage allowance per customer is contractual ‘per ticket’ and we do not pool luggage for customers when they travel as a group.”Qatar may not be required to pool luggage for customers when they travel as a group but in this situation, it was the right thing to do. Over tickets were purchased and thousands of dollars spent. It was unreasonable to nickel and dime one member to such an exorbitant charge considering there was a perfectly viable solution that did not amount to $worth of extra expense or burden to Qatar. Considering the extra luggage itself was not over kg, the right thing to do would have been to credit the weight the other members were under“Additionally there are limits imposed on the maximum weight of individual pieces of luggage for safety reasons.”This response is a guise to justify the excessive fee in this situation. If the luggage weighed kg, I could understand the point made here. But each piece individually was under the kg limit and there was no safety issue presented beyond what every other piece of luggage under the weight limit presented.Conclusion:I understand Qatar is not a charity. However I am not asking for charity. I am asking for reason. There is a time and a place when reason should be placed over profit and this is such a situation.Again, I pray that after a thorough review of the facts Qatar realizes that this should have never occurred and a reduction of the fee is appropriate; however, if it does not I will be sure to relay this experience to other travelers, media outlets, travel magazines, blogs, and agenciesThank you,*** ***

They have still not done anything for me, I followed all applicable rules as far as baggage goes and they denied my baggage onto the flightOnce again if my equipment can not fly it makes no sense for me to fly as this is a business trip that I need my equipmentQatar airlines has shown absolutely no respect during this issue and has been very dismissiveI feel that they are still in the wrong and would like to continue to pursue a reasonable financial reimbursementThank you *** ***

The private reply I received from Qatar Airways is included belowThe reason Qatar Airways didn't reply on a public forum is no-doubt to avoid people ridiculing their phony reply.They suggest that the business class lounge shower is complimentary but you only have to pay for the compulsory towelThis is like WalMart giving away free TVs but you have to pay dollars for a compulsory cardboard box.I reject their contemptuous reply and again request a refund for the charges they imposed on me for using the business class lounge shower in Barcelona Airport.I have traveled around the world visiting first and business class lounges in many major citiesQatar Airways are the first company to charge for using a business class lounge shower. Emirates customers do not pay any charge despite using the exact same lounge facility in Barcelona.This reply is nowhere near the standard expected from a so-called world class airline!!! *** *** ***

[I would like to keep this case open until a satisfactory action has been takenI would also like to add one more consideration that the Airline should take a measure ofIt is that the Des Moines International Airport is only in the name it is big; nonetheless, it is merely a small town size airportNone of my friends who flew out of this airport had to be at the counter no more than minutes before their departure timesIn my case, I was delayed ultimately because of the staff being unproductive]
