There is a law that the customer has 90 days to submit a claim, the customer moved with us on 9/23/2016. We sent them a claim packet on 10/6/2016. The customer did not submit the claim back to us until 3/1/2017, unfortunetly the filing period is 90 days the customer took nearly 5 months to return...

the claim packet. At this time we can open for further review, however I cannot gaurantee that this claim will be valuated at $0.60 per pound per article, if we do revaluate the maximum will be our legal liability of $0.60 per pound per article.

This claim was submitted to our insurance provider on 3/17/2017. The claim has been processed by an adjuster in accordance with the legally binding contract for household good damages based on sixty cents per pound per article. The customer also had a scratch on the floor that has been taken care of...
