I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.

Complaint # [redacted]       Please add the following information: On 8/10/15 we once again contacted Enterprise, corporate office, to try and alleviate the issue of overcharge. Today's bank statement shows YET ANOTHER $91.18 coming out of the account.     The representative at the corporate office, (phone # [redacted], assures us the additional $91.18 will be dropping off the account, and stated that they billed the total amount of $239.44  in three separate drafts - the $91.18 being the third of the drafts.     However, the bank statement belies that information, as the entire amount of $239.44 was taken out in one lump sum on 8/6/15.     Further, the agent stated that upon renting the car, we said we would bring it back to [redacted].     That is untrue. It was a one way trip, I explained very clearly to the agent in Houston that I was visiting family, and would be dropping off the vehicle in Palestine, Texas.     Had I known the charges would be $56 simply to drop it off elsewhere, I would not have rented the vehicle!     Truly, $148.26 is already a ludicrous sum to pay for less than 12 hours of car usage, to be billed extra without explanation or prior knowledge is simply poor ethical business practice. thank you [redacted]

Tell u
[redacted] paid $20 internal rate for 4 days and customer paid the difference from
the $35 to the $20 a day that [redacted] paid. [redacted] confirmed she returned on the
12th at 6 pm. The days are correct on the billing but the internal rate short
pay was the issue. Inform the customer that...

her warranty covered the full cost
of the rental for 4 days and that [redacted] coved a portion of the 4 days after the
Warranty stopped covering it but she stated she was never informed that
information and does not feel like she should have to pay. I will refund the
$60 to her.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  [redacted] reached out to me and took the time to apologize on behalf of the Regional Manager for the experience that I had and offered me a free weekend rental to compensate for the weekend rental I tried to obtain.  I feel that this fair and generous so I have accepted the offer. She was extremely professional and courteous and showed concern for my situation.  She stated that this is not the way [redacted] conducts customer service, and I concur, as I never had any problems and have always been satisfied prior to this incident. I plan to continue using their services and I appreciate all the help that I received in getting a resolution to this matter.

Talked
to customer and I am refunding what he...

requested.
Looks
like he got into the car before anything was set up and he was aware he was
paying out of pocket until it got set up.I apologized to him and told him we will take
care of it and refund him. We also discussed that the next time we have the
opportunity to rent him a car we will make sure we get him in a car that is
under his policy limits so that he does not have to pay for any of the rental.
He
was happy with the solution and will continue to rent from Enterprise.

I have been in this business for 27 years and we are always a respectable and professional business to each and every customer we do any work for. That week was a very hot week and we were very busy with service calls of businesses and home owner customers without any airconditioning in there home or business. The customer that is complaining had a/c in her home and I think my decision to catch calls with no a/c at all was a better business decision. Her a/c was resolved the next business week and have not heard any complaints. Some people do not understand the other things we have to do to try and keep everyone happy. Some time in this field I guess we cant satisfy everyone on a timely basis that they may expect. We try every thing in our power to do so.

Thanks  Ronald Johnson

Regards,
The company should have not charged my credit card without my authorization.  As I stated previously, they committed a fraud.

Talked to Ms [redacted] today. She
elaborated on this recent experience and was able to expand on the issues she
mentioned. As a result, I made her aware we would refund her entire rental and
would also reimburse her for the cab fare due to being stranded on the highway
with no spare. She will...

email a copy of her $90 cab fare, Othman will refund
any charges applied to her back to her card today. She appreciated the gesture,
realized it was not the norm for a company like ERAC, understood that our
employee was probably not aware of how he presented himself and said she would
reach out to us again if she ever needed a car again.
Thanks,
