This was a multiple car accident and from the looks of this there was some miscommunication in regards to which insurance was covering which driver. 
They have corrected the issue and the at faults party is accepting responsibility. 
The renter/ins will only be at risk if the...

damage is over the at fault’s insurance limits. 
I will reach out to the renter and inform them of the correction.

I
talked with Ms. [redacted] this morning.  This is resolved.  She explained
when she rented the car she was expecting an overage of $2.50/day + tax
and not the tax on the entire rental rate of $32.50.  The total of $206
she was charged was more that she was expecting based on the
taxes.  I apologized about the miscommunication and asked what I
could do to make this right and she wanted to pay the $2.50/day plus tax. 
I refunded the difference and she was extremely appreciative of the quick
response and resolution.

Since a sale on the card was not
made for the rental, it can take up to 30 days for the authorization to be
released.   We contacted the customer and informed her that a sale for $1
was ran and then immediately refunded for the same amount so that the
authorization on the card will...

be released immediately.

Credit card has been refunded, email has been sent, and
voicemail has been left.

have spoken to the customer about the situation. The rental should have been
billed to am trust insurance under claim number [redacted] I searched unused
insurance reservations and I saw nothing, so I have left a voicemail with
adjuster [redacted] to uncover how much they are...

pay the invoice for the customer.   The customer has gone back and forth
with both of them because they feel the repairs were not up to expectations and

and attached is the e-mail chain that we received from [redacted].
 
Spoke
with Mrs. [redacted].  I apologized for the situation and how the car
broke down on her during her rental. She asked to refund her $150 back to her
account since she did not use the rental at all except the drive to her
destination, I told her that I will gladly do so and made sure that took care
of her complaint. I also advised her that the refund takes between 24-48 hours
to reflect on her account.

Our operations have tried to reach the customer to resolve this matter via phone and email and the customer is not responding.   Please have customer return our calls and emails and we can attempt to resolve this matter.

renter today & we are refunding the money disputed.
