I am rejecting this response because: Apparently Allstate does not understand that I am not satisfied with this outcome.  If Allstate understood this they would not state in their response that they hope I find their resolution acceptable.  Although tha State dept of insurance could not or would not use its influence to convince Allstate to act in an ethical manner, they did state that it is common knowledge that once a vehicle has sustained this amount of damage that it does have inherent diminished value.My husband knows this to be true because in 2005 his 2003 [redacted] was struck by another party who went through a stop sign.  Two years later(2007) he had put the car up for sale. Although the repairs were done to the highest standard he could not get the $14,000 he wanted because every potential buyer was reluctant once they saw the car fax and made offers that were half the $14000 asking price.  In the end he had to sell the car for $7000.  This is a perfect example of how an accident diminishes the value inherently once a major accident occurs.  It is my hope that Allstate would want to do the right thing and show they have high ethical standards by reimbursing in the amount I have requested of $2725.00.  I believe this to be a very fair and modest amount considering the extent of damage to my vehicle.Regards,[redacted]Claim # [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern,   Allstate Auto Field Technician [redacted] inspected Ms. [redacted] vehicle at the [redacted] residence ([redacted] RD JACKSONVILLE, FL 32219-1815) on 10/5/16 regarding Allstate Claim # [redacted].  [redacted] wrote an estimate for $136.69 for the visible...

damage that he could identify to the exterior of the vehicle.  The estimate was below Ms. [redacted] Deductible of $400 ($500 less a Deductible Credit of $100 = $400), however, [redacted] advised Ms. [redacted] that there was likely “Hidden Damage” underneath the vehicle that he could not see, so she was welcome to call us back out for a Supplemental Reinspection once she had the “Hidden Damage” diagnosed by a shop of her choice.   Unfortunately, there was a breakdown in communication between Ms. [redacted], her shop of choice ([redacted]), the Allstate Field Technician ([redacted]) and the Allstate File Handler ([redacted]) and no Supplemental Reinspection was created by Allstate.   I received the Revdex.com request for assistance on Friday 12/9/16 at 3:32 p.m. Eastern Time after the Revdex.com Case was forwarded to me from our Home Office in Illinois and routed through the local Jacksonville, Florida Claim Office.   I contacted Ms. [redacted] on Friday afternoon (12/9/16) and she advised that she had some receipts for work that she had had performed at [redacted] and that she would be glad to forward the receipts to me for my review.   I received the receipts from Ms. [redacted] on Monday (12/12/16) and I created a Supplemental Reinspection at Ms. [redacted] residence for the next day (12/13/16).   Allstate Field Technician [redacted] went to Ms. [redacted] residence on 12/13/16 and completed a Supplemental Estimate which brought the total amount of the damages to $1,275.53 less the Deductible of $400  = $875.53 (this estimate included the [redacted] invoice amount of $986.41 which we paid in full).   [redacted] issued Ms. [redacted] a check for $875.53 and [redacted] also gave Ms. [redacted] a second check for $200 in the form of Customer Service Monies to offset the inconvenience and aggravation associated with the delays that it took for Allstate to complete the Supplemental Reinspection.   I reached out to Ms. [redacted] on 12/15/16 to confirm that everything was resolved to her satisfaction and she responded today (12-16-16) and advised that she was arranging to take her vehicle by the local [redacted] Dealership ([redacted] Chevrolet) to resolve the balance of the work that was not completed by [redacted], but that she was satisfied with the resolution.   In an effort to make sure that things go as smoothly as possible at [redacted] Chevrolet, I called them today in order to secure their e’mail address so that I could forward them a copy of the Allstate Supplemental Estimate.  I have forwarded the Allstate Supplemental Estimate to the attention of Byron Weatherly in the Body Shop at [redacted] and advised him to reach out to myself or Allstate Auto Field Technician [redacted] if he has any questions or concerns about Ms. [redacted] Claim.   Thank you for bringing Ms. [redacted] concern to my attention and for allowing me to orchestrate the satisfactory resolution of those concerns.   Respectfully,     [redacted] P. Allstate continues to refuse to acknowledge that I am NOT asking for them to back-date termination of coverage more than 30 days against their arbitrary internal policies. What I AM asking is that they honor my request to terminate coverage effective the date that request was first made, which was well before January 23, 2015, the date they finally did terminate the policies. I do not understand the confusion, nor do I understand why the company will not acknowledge that a request to terminate coverage was made on multiple occasions prior to this date or that the company ignored that request and continued withdrawing policy premiums from my checking account AFTER I asked them to terminate coverage. I called multiple times in November of 2014 and met with an Allstate representative in[redacted]) in early December; it was he who advised me to cancel the automatic withdrawals from my checking account to cause termination of the policy for nonpayment since corporate refused to do it at my specific request. I assume this is where Allstate's January 23, 2015 termination date comes from. It should be able to easily verify these calls and my meeting with Mr.[redacted] through its internal computerized notes. Again, I am NOT asking for special treatment or for the company to violate its guidelines. I want the company to realize that IT ERRED in ignoring a customer request to terminate coverage in a timely fashion, and I want the company to rectify that error by CORRECTING the termination date and forgiving any balances it shows as being owed by me. No claims were made under the policy during that time period. I am happy to provide proof of alternate coverage to alleviate any concerns Allstate might have about a potential future claim being made for the time period. Allstate did nothing but cause stress, frustration, and financial harm to my during that time period. I fail to see why this company believes it is owed money for a product I told them I no longer wanted and told them to stop providing. I do not understand why I should have to pay for their errors. I would love to receive proper answers to these questions - and for the company to forgive these erroneous balances.
