I have not spoken to my representative from SafeliteSeveral messages have been left for Lori W*** but she does not return my callsI asked for a manager and was on hold for a very long time until I hung upAt this time, they are not acting in good faithTherefore, I am seeking a monetary resolution so that I can have the car repaired at my convenience The incident occurred on July 11th and it's August 11th, and it is not resolvedThis is unacceptableThe issues are poor workmanship, and poor customer serviceThey damaged my car installing the windshieldIt wasn't part of the windshield installationAll the rubber around the windshield is offThis windshield is unsafe. Good afternoonOk, well if you haven't received the pool cover then yes, absolutely you can have the cover that you were promisedWhen speaking with your husband, I was under the impression that you guys had received the pool cover, as well as the chemical credit from *** alreadyI'm also confused about you saying that *** would be the one coming out to fix the little dip in the poolHe would not be the gentleman that we would send for that job - *** is not our builder.The full refund just isn't reasonable or realistic at allThat's not going to happenAgain, your husband stated how much you guys enjoyed the pool and had absolutely zero issues with the pool (he actually stated that at least twice)He did mention the customer service issues which again, we are going to give you a pool cover, a~$value (I actually thought we had already given you the cover) as well as a $chemical creditThe fact that nobody has shown up to your house is because of the unreasonable demand of a full refundWhen there's a problem with the pool, we will gladly come back to correct the issueIn this specific instance however, your issue could have been avoided had you guys gone back and backfilled around the pool as the contract your signed statesNot doing the backfill is what caused the sand cover to wash away creating the dip in the linerSo I am more than happy to offer again - for our builder to schedule a time to come back to your property and assess exactly what has happened to the sand cover around your poolIf it is washed away in just one area - I will have him pull the liner back and correct the issueIf however, it's washed it out all the way around your pool due to it not being properly back-filled, then we can do the work at a cost to you if you so desireIf you choose to have him come back and take a look, I will have him bring you the $cover so that you may close the pool if/when you desire.You just let me know how you wish to proceed but again, the full refund is not an optionAgain, you'd be hard pressed to find many businesses that would let a customer use their product during the hot time of the year for said product, then giving them a full refund once the season to use the product has passedMost businesses would be out of business using that philosophy

I’m very sorry for the issues regarding the windshield installation on your VW BeetleIn reviewing the information we have on file, we were unable to locate the windshield being manufactured currently, as it was originallyOver time, vehicle manufacturers will discontinue some parts in
order to eliminate the number of total parts they keep in inventoryIn the case of your vehicle, it was originally manufactured with a windshield that had a green tint and a green shadebandAt some point, that part was discontinued and we installed the only available part which has the green tint but no shadeband
At the time your wife agreed to the installation of the only available part, the Safelite representatives explained this and they were comfortable that she understoodI apologize if that wasn’t the caseThere was never any intention to take advantage of you or your wifeWe have explained the details to your insurance company and your insurance agent and we were advised that installing the only available part was reasonable
Since the windshield is no longer manufactured with the shadeband, you may want to speak to your insurance company or your insurance agent about possibly adding an aftermarket tint to the top of the windshield that would replace the shadebandBecause the exact windshield is no longer available, your insurance company may cover the cost of the tint as part of your glass claim

My calibration was done and I was able to have my insurance company cover itHowever, this does not make up for the lack of professionalism by SafeliteEspecially whereas I was promised a call from a manager and it has now been weeks and still no one has called to make this right or even apologize for the inconvenienceUnacceptable

I am rejecting this response because: The windshield leaked because Safelite installed the windshield improperly The installation date was in April and I discovered the leak in early August I have no way of knowing how long it had been leaking This concerning me regarding any long term damage to electrical issues in the future .Regards, *** ***
