Unfortunate as it may be for current students, UAT should not be permitted to exist That they are a private institution is a very fortunate fact for them, as it means they do not have to submit documentation for public record
Corruption and ignorance run rampant in UAT's administrative office We can begin with *** ***, a man who does absolutely nothing for the university other than line his own pockets The friends he makes who may become potential investors (board members, the *** ***, etal.) do not appear to directly support the University, and if they in fact do it is not apparent in any way *** is riding out an entity that he inherited and cares not about the issues of the University, only that it maintains a financial line that stays in the black
Second to *** is *** ***, a man who may or may not have good intentions but fails to execute on them in nearly every conceivable fashion ***, like the man he is an accomplice to, cares about the bottom line more than solving the myriad of problems corrupting UAT He has lied to students, he has lied to faculty, and both he and *** will do everything in their power to hide both of those facts...and because they are a private university, nobody can do a single thing to legitimately prove otherwise, including the faculty who are afraid to speak out in the event they are fired for doing so
The primary issue that *** and *** exhibit is that they rely on themselves to solve business decisions, rather than listening to students and faculty who experience the issues of UAT on a daily basis Their ignorance to the problems of UAT either stems from sheer stupidity or a lack of caring what others feel about their product
What are the problems that UAT has exactly?
Marketing Fabrication
UAT has a knack for listing alumni that work at certain companies...despite that not always being the case My experience was limited to the games program, although I heard murmurs that this was true for every industry save IT They claim to have alumni at ***, ***, ***, ***, ** -- the list goes on Not only are there NO alumni from game programs at most, if not all, of the studios they advertise, but those that currently work or have worked at these studios in the past are nowhere to be found
I mean, look at the current alumni list: *** If that was the entirety of "Featured Alumni" for your university -- and you knew about it -- would you go there? That's not to knock the alumni, that's to knock the program for lacking a support structure for students both during and after their "education," and I say that with very neutral connotation
If UAT actually had connections at studios from people who used to attend the school, they would use them when trying to get jobs for graduating students Surprise -- they have fewer connections in the industry than the students do
Cost
UAT costs more than an in-state tuition at a four-year university Again, MORE than an in-state university This cost is INSANE, especially given the lack of support for teachers, students, and infrastructure I'd be willing to bet that most of that money is going directly to the administrative office and the Board of Directors A wonder that they keep their paperwork behind closed doors
Lack of Quality Education
This is the largest issue with UAT, by far IT is noticeably the only degree area where students from UAT actually succeed in quantity Although the students are a symptom of that (which is a completely separate issue), there is talent outside of that program that has a much more difficult time finding success after school Whether this is due to the rotating staff, absolutely AWFUL online infrastructure (eCollege), reliance on outside resources, incompetent faculty and course designers, or even low quality of the large population of students...who knows But it's likely a combination of all of those things, along with the lack of care given by the administration, that brings UAT into territory qualifying them for all sorts of lawsuits
No Ability to Compete in the Job Market
Tying into #and #3, there are students in ENTIRE DEGREE PROGRAMS that have issues finding jobs after completing a degree at UAT Why? Because the education is useless Besides the fact that the coursework does not aptly prepare (or provide portfolio material) for a career, the placement services are of no value
This is what their "Job Resources" area ACTUALLY looks like: *** I could create a better page in ten minutes, even though I haven't studied more than hours of web design in my entire life That image should be an indication of the quality of people they have actually "helping" students find careers after graduation Besides consolidating, re-consolidating, firing, and hiring in the "Career Resources" department, they are still an utterly incompetent bunch One of the few humans there who actually cares, *** ***, does the best with what he has but, ultimately, is unable to perform his job because he works for UAT If *** worked at a real university, it's likely that he would find some level of success The department is beyond repair
Inability to Execute on Student Solutions
For years, students have been working to address the problems of the university, even directly with faculty, ***, and *** But I'm sure you can guess that they have taken little to no action suggested by students -- the people experiencing the living education nightmare created by UAT themselves UAT has no connection with their student body, losing out on tons of feedback that would otherwise constructively discuss, if not improve, many of the university's failings
Revolving Faculty
As stated in some of the other points, staff are rotated at least once a semester That may not seem like much, but at a small school where intimate student-professor relationships are not just common but NECESSARY, it puts a huge hindrance on degree programs It sets fluidity of programs back, creates new inconsistencies, and overall does nothing to improve the student experience But UAT doesn't care, because they can bring in someone who is "qualified" for less or as much money as the paltry amount the previous employee was making

I'm sure there's plenty more that I haven't discussed about this con-artist-in-building-form, but it's inevitable that you'll discover most (and hopefully all) of these issues upon looking closer at UAT
Make sure to have a drink or two after visiting, because you'll realize how sobering of a fact it is that UAT is an accredited university

order # ***- Complaint is check engine light on and engine sputtering. Traction control light on

free oil changes for a period of time
There was a diagnostic charge of $that was communicated
to customer
We have signed repair order for all of the aboveThere are
no previous diagnostic notes from another facilityWould have been a help
maybe for the diagnosis
Feb we called customer and spoke to *** who picked up phone
and was informed that the vehicle had different codes that we could see all
pertaining to *** position which relates to timing chain internal engine
malfunction.
*** contacted *** *** to inform her of diagnosis *** *** contacted our service department
and informed us that there was a call from customer and a case opened. At that time after consulting with ** and looking at records car is out of warranty
and this is what is referred as customer pay
This information was reviewed with ***He would get back
to Haley about what to do Few days
later *** *** asked to set up a face to face meeting with *** ***. She came in and they metHe reviewed repair
order and findings. *** explained that
once chain was replaced it may need work on the heads and or other items based
on conditionEstimate for timing chain repair was $parts and laborCustomer
left and said she would continue to talk to *** *** ***
Next communication was with *** on March with customer
Customer authorized the repair of timing chain at the estimate of $less
10% discount
Vehicle was complete on March *** contacted customer on
phone and told her good news as of what they can see right now car does not need heads( We never know after
car runs what else can go wrong once everything is working properly) Gave her total of $*** with taxes and
supplies and that came in about **% discount so Haley Buick GMC was very fair
Customer stated ok let me call you backNext day she called
back and said I did not authorize Haley to do the work? During that comment and conversation she
asked what assistance is ** giving*** said none
*** hear back from ** a few days later that a car payment would be offered as a good
will adjustment. They also offered the
component letter for the repair for peace of mind
As of today car is still here and no contact with customer
Haley Buick GMC would like to be paid and the car picked up from
our facilityTo help the customer this is what we will offer and we would like
this ticket closed by April 26,

We have received the complaint from this guestAs you may understand, the letter was very disturbing and false
The guest did come to the front desk around 2:am asking for shampoo and towelsWe were out of towels as we hosted a pool party
the previous eveningShe then proceeded to ask for the owner and I replied she is not hereThe owner is a ladyI was working the desk that night and I have a limp because of my left kneeThe guest was not waiting at the counter for minutes and I also offered the police officer and the guest to view the camera recordings
The hotel is very safe and we have construction workers stay during the week that all sleep early and go to work by 5amWe host weddings on the weekendsThe lies this guest has written is borderline criminal and beyond offensiveThe guest did make a reservation for nightsThis happened late on the second night, therefore we did not issue a refund
We have experienced guests from time to time who will bring up a huge complaint before their departure and try to get their money backThis one takes the cake

I find it very interesting that the Owner blames me for bringing bedbugs into his facility Early during that morning, I began to itch, scratch and notice bumps all over my upper body Seems to me if I had bedbugs, I would have had issues prior to arriving at his hotel When I arrived home, my wife took pictures of my upper body and located several complaints on the internet about this hotel and "bedbugs." Attached I wanted to personally add my complaint to the Revdex.com and to the New Jersey Consumer Affairs A representative from the Health Department and/or Consumer Affairs needs to visit this location to verify these claims I also find it interesting that the individual at the front desk had Hydrocortisone Cream readily available for victims
Consumers spend Billions of dollars with businesses and it's amazing that businesses won't take responsibility for their bad actions and blame customers

On 11-19-*** *** came to my office with Chris F* our Service ManagerThey told me about the situation of the *** having water marks on the black exterior and also swirl marksWe talked and the more I listened I realized it had nothing to do with the product we put on car but the
water marks were on vehicle before the sealant was addedWe went outside to look at *** and I can see the marks with ***He told me he has a place on Broad Street that told him what had to be done to make the paint look betterI have no idea when the marks got on the paint because I just saw the carI told him on Monday I would show commodore company the paint to see if they could get marks out and make it look goodIt is black and you see more than a light color but these marks need to come out or repaint the hoodI talked to *** Detailing where *** had talked to someone and they said they can detail the car and get water marks out as well as the swirls. Tyler H*** and I delivered the *** to his house and dropped off keys to Mrs***After Thanksgiving *** will get *** to *** *** and ***Haley Buick GMC will pay $*** to get the car detailed on exteriorIf he needs a ride after dropping off or a rental car while in shop for or days we will also pay for thatMr*** has elected to cancel the interior and exterior protection package as I offered and we will refund the money TuesdayIf it was financed the check will go to bank to come off back end of loan and if paid cash will send check to customerI am checking on this now.
Mr and Mrs *** had conversation with other employees so I will gather the comments and put in fileI was not told by Mr or Mrs that this claim had been openedBAsed on experience I believe we are doing what is needed to be done to satisfy the customer with using another detail shopI did explain to Mr *** I do not have anyone on staff that can do the process needed to remove the water spots but commodore or *** could do it and he selected *** These spots are on many paint finishes on anything that could be man made and because black it is showing up and we need to get process done for customerIt will be next week before vehicle is done and customer will have to decide to take down the complaintI believe it will be acceptable and that we will have done what was needed to be done to satisfy the issuePlease let me know if I need to reply back after work has been complete

Recent stay July 9, 10,11, with two children switched to two different room due to leaky roof and no monitoring of people and very dirty
There was no security here with guests smoking drugs my husband and I were with our two children very uncomfortable The first room we stayed in had used chopsticks near the beds We were getting wet from a leak in the roof So at 1am moved to a different room only to find the leak greater than the room before We were very concerned the roof was not safe to sleep under We attempted to talk to manager next day to no avail We requested he call us he did not I called after days and received a number for the manager I requested his name only to be given his first name only which was jack I have tried calling every other day but there's never an answer I have left messages but nothing I was initially hoping in good faith some sort of refund for the inconvenience of moving rooms, put in danger of unstable roof and smelling weed eve
