American Access Casualty Company Reviews (271)

The claimant submitted a rental receipt on 9/13/17 and reimbursement was issued the same day.  There was no delay.

Please advise the consumer to provide our claim and/or policy number and the date of loss as I cannot locate a claim in the system. Thank you!

The customer has the right to select the repair facility of her choice; however, we owe reasonable rates for the area.  The estimate we provided is based on same.  We have four direct repair facilities near the customer's residence which would repair her vehicle per our estimate.  If...

she chooses a shop that charges higher rates, she may be responsible for paying the difference.  This was explained to her on more than one occasion.  We further advised her if the body shop locates additional damage that is related to the accident once the vehicle goes in for repairs, a reinspection would be performed and any additional loss related damages would be paid to the shop directly.

The claim was denied due to the exclusion under the policy contract as previously outlined.  Please refer to the policy if you are unclear as to the listed exclusions.  Unfortunately, we are unable to cover any costs associated with the claim due to the exclusion.

The claim was denied because both parties claim to have the green light.  There are no independent witnesses to verify either party's version of the accident.   Our insured has no idea why the police officer noted the narrative as he did as those were not accurate facts...

of loss.  Our insured contends no citations were issued as well.  This is a word vs. word scenario and each party will need to go through their own insurance companies as a result.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business. My incident happened 10/03/2017 and could NOT submit a claim due to a rep saying the systems were down and refused to help me. I’ve tried contacting my adjuster [redacted] many many times to see about my claim. I have received an email from her. I have sent all needed info to release payment.
Sincerely,

Apparently he is still on vacation. I am tired of this cat and mouse game. I just want some help! I pay for insurance and held up my part of the deal, Can I get the same from American access.

The complainant's vehicle has been deemed a total loss.  A total loss settlement offer has been extended to the claimant but she did not accept as she does not agree with the deduction for storage expenses.  As the vehicle owner, it is her responsibility to mitigate her own damages. ...

We do not owe for storage charges that have incurred on her vehicle.  A written total loss settlement offer has been sent to the claimant.   Regarding her injury claim, the claims representative is in the process of obtaining the claimant medical bills, medical records and proof of wage loss.  Once all have been received and reviewed, a bodily injury settlement offer will be extended to the claimant.  No payment will be issued until both parities agree to a settlement figure and the claimant signs a release.  She has been advised in writing of the statute of limitations.
