Just as your insurance company would likely not authorize a payment off your policy without contacting you first to verify that you were in fact involved in an accident for which you were legally liable, we are entitled to do the same.  Unfortunately, sometimes the process is longer than others.  That being said, we have accepted liability and you have chosen to proceed through your insurance carrier.  We will await their subrogation proofs to review.

This claim was reported on 10/18/17. The estimate was received on 12/03/17. The estimate was approved on 12/05/17 and the payment was sent to the body shop on 12/08/17. We were just recently informed by the body shop that they are pending an approved supplement as the vehicle may be a total loss....

Just yesterday, 2/13/17, it was confirmed the vehicle is indeed a total loss.  Our claims department is now in the process of reviewing the total loss paperwork and will be reaching out to the insured to discuss settlement within 24-48 hours.

At this time, we have conflicting facts regarding this accident.  Our insured contends he did not strike the rear of the other party's vehicle.  There was no police report filed to assist with our investigation.  The claimant provided our claim representative with the name of a...

I am rejecting this response because: American Access has shifted the blame onto ** Bank. It was they who dragged their feet. The final vehicle evaluation letter was finally received by my finance company 3 days ago, 24 February 2017. There is no way it should have taken that long. Before the 5 business days it will take ** Bank to provide the Letter Of Guarantee to American Access, my 6th payment for a totaled car will be due. American Access should be punished in some way that lets them know they can't repeat this debaucle.

Unfortunately, since there was no police report filed we were unable to move forward with the claim until we received our insured's statement confirming the facts of loss.  We will await subrogation proofs from [redacted].

Furthermore, due to the fact that the accident happened in a federal parking lot, the police do not come anymore. So what I end up doing was file a VA police report instead. Our claims department spoke to the customer on 10/23/17 at 7:56 a.m. at which time she explained her vehicle has been deemed a total loss.  Paperwork was emailed to the customer and we advised her we are pending the letter of guarantee from her finance company in order to issue payment.  Once received, we will issue payment.

When we received the claimant's total loss paperwork on April 24, 2017, we were unsure as to whether or not he wanted to retain the vehicle or turn it over to us.  Our claims department called the claimant that day to clarify, but had to leave a voicemail.  It was not until we spoke to him...

on May 16, 2017 that we confirmed the claimant wants to retain the vehicle.  Payment per the agreed upon amount of $4,704.30 has been issued to the claimant as of today.  We have confirmed his mailing address as well.  We explained to him he should receive payment within 3-5 business days.  He understood.  Please consider this matter concluded.  Please let me know if you need any additional information.

you for providing the American Access claim number.  Our appraisal supervisor spoke to Mr. [redacted] today and explained that we have adjusted the estimate to include the correct mirror.  We also explained our supplemental procedures and if the shop finds any additional damage once repairs begin, they will contact us and we will address it at that time.  A check for the additional amount of $177.27 was issued to Mr. [redacted] today, and it should be received within 3-5 business days.  Rental is handled on a reimbursement basis.  Once the paid rental receipt has been submitted, we will review it accordingly. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: I have talked to the witness on several occasions. American access have not contacted her at all. I don't understand what more proof do the company needs. If your insurer didn't hit me, why do I have a picture of the insurer's license and insurance. Why would he go up to the auto body shop and complain about the estimate being too expensive if he never hit me. I submitted the witness information several times. I even gave the the name of the auto body shop so they can talk to the owner about the insurer visit. That still does not explain the fact that American access has not got in contact with me nor has they given me any update on anything. It doesn't explain why I can't ever contact the adjuster, that constantly hangs up on me every time I call. It's ridiculous and bad for business.
