wereabout 2-3 years old. Any merchandise received associated with a quality issue, theitems are mailed to our quality team in NYC for research/testing. Our quality teamdetermine that the damage associated with Mr. [redacted]’s garments were not aquality related issue, but a result of wear and tear. The team noted the jeans were all different style women’sjeans, from three different vendors with damage in the same areas. Theydetermined the damaged was caused by women’s heels getting caught in the samearea of the jean. As a result of these findings we are unable to replace the jeans.

refunded the $45 gift card per customer's request, cust did not accept our refund, so refunded GC [redacted]2606 for the $45 to his CC and also refunded the additional $29.98 to the credit card to make whole his return amount

Also, when reviewing the photos that were sent to our social media team regarding this matter, we determined that the tags are not affixed to the jeans in accordance with where American Eagle Outfitters tags their denim, nor do we use this specific type of plastic fastener to attach the tags to our jeans. We do consider this fraud and or abuse of our return policy and will not accept this return.
