After a review of the account, the customer’s balance will not be adjustedThe customer’s meter was not registering usage from 05/29/to 12/01/therefore the customer was not billed correctly for their electric usageThe customer’s bill was adjusted accordingly and the customer was set on a payment agreement on 03/05/The total back charges were $The Public Utilities Regulatory Authories (PURA) permits Eversource to back bill customers (if applicable) up to months therefore the charges of $will not be removed At the time the payment agreement was initiated (03/05/15), Eversource projected the future charges and included those projections with the monthly installment planThe customer used more electricity than originally calculated on 03/05/therefore leaving the customer a balance at the end of the payment agreement of $The usage was billed correctly (based on actual readings) therefore the customer is responsible for the billing chargesThe customer is on an active payment agreement to assist with paying the balance

The delivery charges include the price for the delivery of electricity from the generating station (supplier) through the distribution system (substations, transmission lines, distribution lines) to the customerThese charges are multiplied by the amount of kWh the customer uses within the billing period therefore the total delivery charges and supply charges will change monthlyEversource is mandated by state regulators therefore both supplier and delivery charges have the approval of the [redacted]

We have no record of any problems which would have affected your location on or about December 4, What you may have experienced was a momentary outage Momentary outages can occur without Eversource receiving notice of it Momentary outages occur when a transient condition causes a short circuit (e.gweather, tree limbs, animals, motor vehicle strikes) Power is interrupted by an automatic protective device for short duration timed sequences in order to protect the electrical distribution system from damage Power is returned at operating voltages once the condition has cleared itself Eversource regrets your loss but the service we deliver is, by its very nature, subject to forces and conditions beyond our control No utility company can guarantee constant voltage or uninterrupted service nor accept liability for damages to the property of its customers unless negligence is involved There is no evidence that such was involved in this case Therefore, we must respectfully deny your request for reimbursement

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I tried to call those other places and I was told I needed eversources permission to switch because all the equipment is their equipment So I would need permission from ecersource to switch companies That doesnt sound too fair Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The customer was properly notified by our contactor of Eversource’s intent to trim on his property via RSA 231: The original permission/notification card was sent the week of 5/20/17; it was sent using a mailing serviceThe customer’s address was confirmed to be on the listConfirmation of this notification was emailed to the customer on 3/6/The customer’s initial interaction with the contractor should have been documented to avoid any effort to re-trim the area. The contractor offered on 2/12/to purchase and deliver screening plants to the property in the SpringThe contractor reported at the time that the customer “seemed ok” with the settlementEverousrce confirmed that the clearing practices used to remove the trees/brush were proper, however the clean up of the property was insufficientBoth the contractor and Eversource offered to have crews return to the site to address the debrisThe customer declined the offer

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Their response is fraudulent I never contacted the business to order service I never provided documents showing that I intended on moving to this address It doesn't make sense If I intended on moving to the address but never moved there, how does utilities run up to over $ In fact, the documents that I provided was my request for their documentation showing proof of my signature ordering service and or recorded call proving that it was me that had actually called I provided them with a police report and notification that my identity had been stolen They failed to provide any proof that I had called to order services Instead they sent me to collections I have never lived at this address in CT and in fact resided in [redacted] at the time so called services were ordered I am not paying this bill and have contacted an attorney I have already called this business twice for them to be very rude and insist that I need to pay and sue the person in court that stole my identity, which is ridiculous I also find it interesting that their story has changed since the last time I spoke with their customer service department I am not calling again They can deal with my attorney Sincerely, Christopher F*

Dear Revdex.com: This complaint refers to an account that ended in [redacted] A review of the old account does not show that the account was disputed when it was active in [redacted] or during the past eight (8) years Thank you for allowing the opportunity to provide an explanationVery truly yours, [redacted] Regulatory Relations Specialist [redacted]

A review of the account, shows that service ended on 04/20/with a balance of $The last bill for this account was date 04/21/which was the final bill for the account, no other bills have generated to the customer from this accountThe customer is responsible for the balance

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: no one is answering the known question, HOW IS THERE USAGE WHEN I HAD NO HOT WATER AND MY HEAT WAS BARELY ON?! The news reported a story on them because they've been charging customers outrageous prices for services in the winter, If that doesn't warrant an investigation then someone isn't doing their jobThe rate at which they're charging me for basic utilities is ridiculousHad they charged me $for the first month I wouldn't even be contacting you, however my bill is 2x as much as it should be and I've only been a customer of theirs for a month!! Who charges their customer $for one month of service?! They're charging too much with hidden fees and unbelievable rates and you're not seeing thatThis was obviously a waste of my time and now I see why people don't try to resolve their issues this wayIts a waste of time when the government allows businesses to treat people this way, this is why the economy is failing and why people living in the u.sare still living in poverty while people working for companies like eversource will always get aheadI have no reason to lie, our pipes were frozen from the snow storms which is why we had no access to hot water, the landlord has since fixed the issueIf our heat is staying on at a base temp of 65-degrees and we were UNABLE TO USE HOT WATER, how is there enough usage to warrant a bill being so high?!?! Something is Addi g up regardless of what they're saying Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]
