The customer was refunded the over payment as well as bank fees

[redacted] changed their name to Eversource, February The customer was enrolled in Budget Billing Before her account was closed on 5/30/a payment was made on 5/8/for $ Her account would have been paid current for her Budget Billing paymentBudget Billing is for customers to pay the same amount each month to offset higher bills during some months At some point the customer will owe more than they are paying The customer was originally paying $but on 3/24/that amount was increased to $ There are settlement months for Budget Billing but it will also settle up if the account is closed The account was closed on 5/30/and the actual billing was produced for $ The customer was enrolled in E-Bill and the final bill was sent to her email on 6/2/ Once a final bill is more than days past due it is sent to a collection agency for soft collections After days it is moved to collections and can affect the customer’s credit history A billing and payment history was mailed to the customer per her request in 12/21/for her to review that shows actual bills and payments This balance is still owed by the customer The credit bureau reporting is accurate

A review of the account, shows that there were kilowatts used in this billing period The kilowatt usage is what drives the delivery cost The customer’s usage is higher for this period due to the electric heat in the home and the cold temperatures that was endured during the billing period

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: From November to March of no one from eversource ever came out to read my meter I have cameras in my yard not one person went behind to read the meter what so ever when I called and started questioning it I got told it was estimated witch is wrong because the family that lived in the house before me was much bigger and they had a washer and dryer and much more I know foe only people no kids work 40+ hours a week no washer dryer dishwasher there is no way my lights would b that much, we got told to test our meter to see if we had a faulty water pump and to see what is pushing more useage to figure out why my hill was so high, well that couldn't b done because eversource changed out the meter before anything could be test witch is wrong we should of had all rights to figure out why our light bill was so high, like I said its because it was estimated not actually read like it should of been we shovled a path to the meter ever storm and there was never any foot prints going behind the house to the meter, I feel eversource is in wrong I have called multiple times and argued with many people over this I have been hung up on I get told everything is documented but when you get told one thing call back theres no records of that call eversource needs to take the 1st months off my bill its not fair im getting charged for a incorrect readingsI have stopped paying eversource because I know I have been ripped off and over charged, I have all my paper work and dates I'm gonna get a lawyer to handle this situation Sincerely, [redacted]

A review of the account shows the customer made a payment today (09/04/15) for $The pending disconnection has been cancelled therefore there will be no interruption in service

The customer’s request to speak with a Supervisor was requested this morning therefore a Supervisor will be in contact with the customer as soon as possible to discuss her concerns/request

I have had the same email address for over years! I have always given this company pertinent demographic information including my email address, telephone number, and mailing address They would have NEVER needed to contact [redacted] Their response to the Revdex.com is to pacify my original complaint With complaint I'm seeing a patten of not accepting the fact that the company erred GREATLY! I was told that a supervisor would contact me when I spoke with the customer service rep who could offer no explanation even adfter consulting with supervisors It was at MY request, NOT Eversource, that my banking account information AND the incorrect email be removed from my account as I feel strongly that the account may have been compromised When I did get a call back it was from the same customer service Rep NOT a supervisor as had been indicated There was no direct number left for me to reach this customer service rep who added NOTHING in terms of an explanation to my original complaint Again, it is UNACCEPTABLE for any of my private information to have been emailed to a total stranger! The account for the first floor was switched over on 04/05/ The tenant will be responsible from that day forward

AFTER REVIEW OF THE ACCOUNT, THE CUSTOMER CALLED FOR SERVICE ON 03/16/REQUESTING ELECTRIC AND GAS SERVICE WHEN THE CUSTOMER WAS ASKED WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO TAKE OVER SERVICE, THE CUSTOMER STATED THAT THE LEASE WAS DATED FOR THE PREVIOUS DAY THE REP EXPLAINED THAT WE COULD DO IT AS OF THAT DAY (03/16/2015) , THE CUSTOMER AGREED STATIING THAT SHE WANTED TO BE FAIR THERE WILL BE NO CREDITS GIVEN AS SERVICE WAS GRANTED WHEN REQUESTED

Hi - I just... wanted to let you know in writing that a supervisor reached out to me and said they will not bill me for the time I was not there. I do not want this compliant to appear as resolved until the bill shows up confirming this information. I am not willing to take there "word" for it. Once the bill arrives confirming they did not charge me for electricity that was put in my name with out my consent I will promptly reach out to you and inform you the compliant has been settled. A REVIEW OF THE ACCOUNT SHOWS THAT A DISCONNECT NOTICE WAS SENT OUT ON 05/23/ THERE WAS NO CONTACT FROM THE CUSTOMER WITH A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT OR PAYMENT, WHICH IS WHY THE SERVICE WAS DISCONNECTED ALL CUSTOMERS WHO ARE SHUT OFF FOR NON PAYMENT ARE REQUIRED TO PAY A SECURITY DEPOSIT

To hold this kind of money on a customer account is absolutely ridiculous especially when I attempt to make a payment and they lock down all options to pay any way except by speaking to a rep and then to find they are closed at pm how many customers are you robbing of " security deposit s? I imagine there are millions of dollars in question also what is this security deposit being used for? Maybe it is time the media is made aware of this practice.Sincerely, [redacted]
