February 19, 2018Dear [redacted] ***:Thank you for giving AmeriGas Propane, L.P, d/b/a [redacted] (“AmeriGas”) an opportunity to respond to [redacted] ’s complaint regarding billing concernsAmeriGas takes any complaint by its customers seriouslyTherefore, upon receipt of her complaint, we investigated the allegations contained therein and provide the following response based on our findings.By way of background, [redacted] requested and was emailed a payment plan on July 17, We advised [redacted] that until the signed payment plan was returned, her account would continue to accrue late feesThe signed payment plan was never returned to the district, so her account was still accumulating late fees [redacted] continued to make individual monthly payments without a signed payment plan until she requested to cancel her accountThe account balance is currently $due immediately, which consists of past due balance, service dispatch fee and three (3) late feesShe will continue receive collection notices until it is paid in full.? We made the decision to change propane dealers after many years with Amerigas due to their policies of delivery and billing being handled poorlyFor many years we had a scheduled delivery date, their policy changed without notification to us and we ran out of propaneTheir new policy was We were told to call days ahead of needing gas or we would be charged an emergency fee We switched dealers in December of December 6, at 4:pm I called and spoke with the manager, Steve W [redacted] and discussed the removal of all bottles from our property and reimbursement of lp gas in those bottlesThere was no communication on them picking up the bottles, so I did a follcall to them on March 13, 2017, spoke with Theresa and reminded them that they needed to pick up the bottles they are a safety factor here in my parkOn Friday, March 16th Amerigas came and picked up bottles and gave us a bill for pickup Today, March 20, I called and spoke with Heidi, we understand t

Amerigas is the most dishonest company Horrible experience numerous times with themIf you own one of their tanks they can charge you what they wantI called for propane refill she quoted me per gallon! Crazy highCalled other local propane companies they were per gallonIf you own their tank you can not have another company fill your tankIf you ask them to come take it it will cost to buy their tank it is over When we bought our home the tank was here so we are stuck and they realize that so they can charge you what they want Total scam Please do yourself a favor go with another propane companyThey are so dishonest Sad

Amerigas raised the price per gallon of liquid propane to per gallon for gallons,charging me with fees,obviously completely overcharging, I own my tank, I contacted another gas company, they offered liquid propane at per gallon,a company should notify all customers of a significant increase in prices, before they just fill your tank and charge any price they desireThank you, [redacted]
