AMP is grateful to Mrs. [redacted] for notifying us of this situation. AMP wrote a removal letter to TransUnion's headquarters on July 13, 2017. TransUnion sometimes requires information from the customer to finalize the removal. AMP recommends Mrs. [redacted] contacting them by the end of this week;...

the letter should have been received by then. AMP apologizes for the frustrations that Mrs. [redacted] has experienced and want to reassure her that we will be investigating this further.

AMP elected to cancel Mr. [redacted]'s account with no termination fee on January 3, 2016. Mr. [redacted] has been notified of this cancellation. AMP's scheduling department will be in contact with Mr. [redacted] to determine a convenient time for a technician to collect the equipment.

Complaint: [redacted]AMP has committed fraud.  There is a law restricting an alarm company to divulge a 2 year term.  To knowingly offer a 5 year term only to its customer indicates that AMP was attempting to collect 2.5 times more in payment than the amount is should have.  This is unjust to its customer.  AMP has sucked all of the money out of me that they are due and will receive.  I am very outdone by their response.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

AMP strongly disagrees with Mrs. [redacted]'s claims. AMP was notified in July that Mrs. [redacted] had chosen to move and requested to pre-maturely cancel the agreement she made with us. AMP gave the mandatory early termination options: pay the early fee which is stated in her Monitoring Agreement in Section 8...

or transfer it into another qualified name. When Mrs. [redacted] agreed to install the system and signed the contract, she agreed to the early termination fee. In the case of a system move, AMP offered a move for $99; this process entails a technician to come and pull the system followed by re-installation of the system at Mrs. [redacted]’s new home. The customer is the one that chose to move. Regarding Mrs. [redacted]'s claims that service was not provided while she was at the home, this was not correct. The system has been in operation and monitored, as it shows in Guardian's monitoring history. Timer tests, which ping the system to make sure the system is in full working order have been done monthly. They have come back clear. Additionally, Guardian shows that when the system has been set off, AMP contacted Mrs. [redacted] via her panel and/or through the listed emergency contact numbers. AMP will be holding Mrs. [redacted] to the contract. If she would like to utilize one of the cancellation options that we offer, she can contact us at 800.817.3918.

Today, AMP spoke with Mrs. [redacted] to discuss the frustrations that she is having. Mrs. [redacted] explained that she was in a lease-to-buy situation during the installation and both, the previous and current owners, names were on the monitoring agreement. AMP is actively looking into this issue and has...

left the direct number for AMP's consumer advocate. Ms. [redacted] agreed to contact us if there are questions or concerns.

Revdex.com, AMP has elected to cancel this account with no termination fee. AMP has notified the monitoring company, Guardian Protection Services (“Guardian”), of this cancellation. Guardian has a mandatory 10 day cancellation period due to monitoring regulation and policy. Today, a representative of...

cancellation process due to monitoring regulations and policy. AMP's scheduling department will be in contact with Mr. [redacted] to determine a convenient time for a technician to remove the security system. After the equipment has been collected, Mr. [redacted] will have no obligation to AMP.

AMP apologizes for the inconvenience of the delayed refund. AMP informs the customer that a refund usually takes around 3 to 7 business days to settle and show in a person's account. Depending on the bank, it sometimes fluctuates with more or less days. On May 18, 2017 at 3:41 pm, AMP submitted the...

refund; this was the same day that Mr. [redacted] contacted us of this refund issue. AMP has refunded back the $99 that was charged. The Transaction ID number is [redacted]. The Processor was National Processing and the money was refunded back to the account ending in [redacted].

Although AMP has physical proof of the credit authorization, as a courtesy to Ms. [redacted], AMP is willing to send a letter to the bureaus to request it be removed. AMP does not guarantee that the credit inquiry will be removed, as that is determined by the bureaus. Additionally, Ms. [redacted] will need to dispute the inquiry via a USPS letter; credit bureaus require a letter from the report holder.

AMP was in contact with Mr. [redacted] regarding his complaint on 5/10/2017. AMP requested that Mr. [redacted] submit documentation supporting his claim. AMP is currently waiting for the documentation.

I want my bill adjusted or let me out of the contract

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I am attaching copies of the documentation that I received from them.  You can clearly see the dates on this agreement.  Agreement made October 26, 2016 and I received and cancelled this on October 29, 2016.  Also attached is their letter dated December 6, 2016 terminating the monitoring of the system.  I, therefore, do not feel I owe them the amount they are claiming and I just want this matter resolved.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

AMP has attached all agreements that we have regarding Mrs. [redacted]. She signed the documents via DocuSign; as have been attached to this response. The contracts have a certification that provides a time stamp and IP address.  If she would like to cancel early, she may fulfill two early termination options: pay the accruing balance, in addition to the early termination fee which is stated in her contract in section 8 or pay the accruing balance and transfer the contract into another qualified name. Otherwise, AMP will be holding the customer to the contract.

AMP is more than happy to have a technician come out and inspect the system at no charge to the customer. Also, AMP is willing to credit two months of monitoring to compensate for the two months that the customer claims he did not have service. AMP has notated his account with the offer.

AMP has located the account that Mr. [redacted]'s complaint is regarding and has attached the contracts with this response. Unfortunately, AMP no longer holds ownership to this account. AMP was a dealer for Guardian Protection Services ("Guardian") when the system was installed. AMP was allocated the first year to work on the account but after that time frame, it was fully taken over by Guardian. AMP asks that Mr. [redacted] contact Guardian at 888.985.4805 to resolve any concerns or questions that he may have.
