Aqua finance reports as a line of revolving credit
Aqua finance reports as a line of revolving credit hurting your credit showing utilization of total credit cards instead of a term loan however when I called they said if you need another sum after payoff I have to re apply and get re approved. I paid 33 percent off in one year on a 12 year loan but it still hurts my credit.

Never received a 1st invoice , called to make sure they had my mailing address correct and they didn't. I corrected it and requested another statement because the original was sent to another address not associated with me, before I get the new bill they have have reported me 30 days delinquent and my credit report was damaged by 85 points, very aggravating, and they don't care what soever, my bill is payed in full, I was conned by the salesman and now I have to result to having my lawyer take over, don't trust them

I paid off a boat loan and they want me to wait 60 days to get title. I reverse ach payment and get cashiers check and they say oh it will be 10 days to recieve release. I was intimidated by adimma ***, a customer rep who when I became verbally frustrated with the policy she then threatens to tell me I could be forced to wait the full 60 days, I cannot believe the situation they have placed me in. the intimidation ws on a cal on 5-15-2020. after 10:30 am. I am going to have the upper mgt at this place review this call. If you deal with them, write down times, names and date, and dont let them get away with the typical .

Calling every five minutes in the evening when most people are trying to enjoy their little time with family is absolutely inappropriate. I don’t care what your business is. Then, when you are rude on top of all that, it makes for a terrible combination. I wish there was a way to deal with another finance company through Power Home Remodeling, because Aquafinance has been completely unpleasant.

Aqua Finance Response • May 20, 2020

Aqua Finance is in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr.. We have investigated his concerns and offer
our findings below. We hope this response
provides clarity and brings closure to this matter.Mr. states ‘we call every five minutes in the evening’. Mr.’s monthly payment is due each
month on the 11th. While
there is a 10 day grace period prior to assessing a late fee, as a courtesy we
do place a friendly call when the account is 5 days past due, just as a gentle
reminder. I pulled our phone records for
Mr.’s account and found that on March 18th, there were two
calls placed to Mr.; one at 4:09 pm and one at 5:16 pm. Contact was made on the 2nd call
and a payment was set up over the phone. Unfortunately the payment was declined, so an additional courtesy call
was placed to Mr. the following day; March 19th. One message was left at 3:35 pm. On March 20th a call was placed to
Mr. at 8:47 am. He indicated
there was an error w/ the card and a new payment was processed and posted to
the account on March 20th. On
April 18th for the payment due on April 11th, one call
was placed to Mr. at 9:29 am. Payment was made at that time and posted to his account on April 20th. On May
19th, three calls were placed to Mr. regarding the payment
that was due on May 11th. Contact
was made at 7:12 pm and he requested we stop calling him.

Aqua Finance sincerely apologizes for inconveniencing Mr.. Going forward we have dispositioned Mr.
***’s account to not receive calls from our automatic dialer system for courtesy
calls when his payment is outstanding. If Mr. would like to change his due date to better accommodate
his payment schedule, we are happy to assist with that. Additionally, he may utilize our website to
set up recurring payments each month. Aqua Finance is unfortunately unable to ‘provide him with a new lender’. There is no penalty for pre-payment and he is
welcome to pay his account off at any time. He may contact our office for a pay-off quote at 1-800-234-3663. Thank you.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The reason I filed the complaint was that the repetitive calls were made during the late evening time, while other contact methods could have been utilized to remind me of my overdue payment, and they could have been made during normal business hours of the day. I would like to note that my email is on file with AquaFinance, and that is the acceptable form of communication. Any and all communications between Aquafinance and myself, Mr., should be made through email. Should this protocol not be followed and a call is received, especially during valuable evening family time, another complaint will be filed. Thank you for your cooperation and response. Sincerely

This is a finance company that is working with a company called luv green solutions that can no longer be contacted but the finance company tells you they can contact them but no one ever gives you a call and aqua finance threats you by saying they will place a lien on your property but luv green solutions is no longer in business did not hold up their part with promotions of free soap and free repairs for the life of the water machine cant contact no one to service my machine are send out my soap machine has cause my home to flood twice

I applied for a loan from a home improvement loan from Lyon financial last year. The loan officer at Lyon financial mentioned that my payment is $800+ per month and that the loan won't kick in until the project is completed by their certified contractors ( Home improvement project need to be implemented by certified contractors listed on their website and Lyon financial disbursed money to them directly ). After completion of the project, I discovered that Lyon financial secured the loan through Aqua finance and Aqua started charging from when the project started.

I was on short term military mobilization last September for couple of months and I called in so that the interest rate would be adjusted as required by Servicemember Civil Releif Acts (SCRA) but Aqua finance didn't honor my request and they kept charging me crazy interest

I made about 5 to 6 payment of $800+ and I noticed that the original loan amount of $47,500 didn't decrease but keep increasing. I called Aqua finance mentioning that I have paid close to $5,000 and I was expecting some of the funds paid to be applied towards my principal. I also complained about my SCRA request that wasn't honored but the agent put me on hold to speak with a manager and then the line drop. On another occassion,it was explained to me that the loan term I was signed up is a revolving loan above 17% interest and the payout amount would be $150,000.

I explained to Aqua finance that the only chance of ever paying this off was for me to refinance this loan and that's my plan to get the loan paid off. Earlier this year, I applied for COVID-19 relief which will give me time to catch up on my finances and be in a better position to find a better lender. To my surprise, Aqua finance refused to grant me COVID-19 releif when they noticed I intend to refinance the loan. They keep adding different charges to the account and started reporting more than what I borrowed to the credit bureau in an attempt to further crush my credit to sabotage my chance of refinancing the loan.

So far, I have paid about $5,000 on a $470,500 and Aqua finance is still reporting to the credit bureau that I owe approximately $52,00

Aqua Finance Response • May 19, 2020

Aqua Finance is in receipt
of the complaint filed by ***. We have
reviewed their concerns and offer our findings. On 10/1/2019 *** stated he was going to send us paperwork showing his
Active Du*** Orders to qualify for the SCRA. He provided us with a 28 day
training order and we verified with the DOD that he was not on active du*** and
therefore did not qualify for the rate reduction. I have attached a copy of the contract that was provided to *** which explicitly shows the amount financed and and minimum monthly payment factor. Additionally, this information was reviewed
with *** on a call with Lyon Financial prior to the funding of the
contract.

*** contacted our office
on 4/30/2019 to inquire about assistance for COVID-19 relief. At that time his loan was already three
months delinquent because no payments had been received since December 2019. We indicated we could defer 3 payments for
him, but that would require a payment due in April and then May. Aqua Finance is sensitive to the needs of our
customers and are happy to assist with financial hardships. We are willing to work with *** and if he can
provide paperwork that supports being on active duty, we will honor the SCRA
interest reduction. If he has any
further questions he may contact our office at 1-800-234-3663. Thank you.

Aqua Finance Response • May 19, 2020

Aqua Finance attached the verification from the DoD that states he was not called to Active Duty. IF he has paperwork that states the contrary, he may send it to [email protected] for immediate review.

Unfortunately there is no 'law' that mandates COVID-19 relief. As a courtesy to our customers who have been directly affected by the Pandemic, we are granting deferrals. However, the qualifier is that the account must not be more than 90 days past due at the time the deferral is granted. He had not made payments since December of 2019. Most shelter in place orders began end of February beginning of March 2020. If he would like to work out a reasonable payment plan, Aqua Finance would be happy to speak with him to do so. He may reach us at 1-800-234-2663.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The only paperwork required by any service member under law when called to active du*** order is a copy of military order which I have provided since last year. The reason why Aqua finance decide to deny my request is best known to them.

I will be reaching out to DoD as to where Aqua finance gets their validation from and why I was denied what should legally be applied to me. It should be noted that only Aqua finance denies my request while on active du*** order.

I have tried to work a payment plan with Aqua finance with no success. Continuous monthly payment that would be applied only to interest puts my account in same place if not worse. I have paid Aqua finance $4,000 in a $47500 and the balance according to Aqua finance still shows almost $52,000.

It should be noted that balance on the account has never be lower than 47500 even after several complaint that I am expecting at least something to go towards principal amount borrowed

ive had an account with this lender for over 4 years, and i've been thrying to settle the account and they are unwilling to settle. they said if they dont get there money they are not worried about it becaue they'll put a lien on my house. so they cpuld careless. the information with this loan was very misleading that was not what was presented to us the the sales rep came to my house.

Aqua Finance Response • May 06, 2020

Aqua Finance is in receipt of the complaint filed by Ms.. We have reviewed her account and are sensitive to the hardships she is experiencing at this time. We would definitely like to help her out and a representative will be in touch very soon to discuss this in further detail. Thank you.

I received a Insurance check for hail damage to my home July 4,2019. The check was addressed to me & my mortgage company. ie *** & Wintrust Mortgage .I signed the check and thought I sent it to Wintrust Mortgage. I inadvertently put the check in the Aqua finance envelope and Aqua finance. I called Wintrust Mortgage in April requesting information on the check. Wintrust Mortgage representative responded that they never received a insurance check to endorse. The representative said call Aqua finance to see if they have the check. I called on April 2, 2020 and the Aqua finance representative said they received the check on March 10, 2020 and they had cashed the check sent in the mail. So I called back to Wintrust Mortgage back to inform them the insurance check had been cashed. The Wintrust Mortgage representative said” how did they Aqua finance cash the check without Wintrust Mortgage endorsing the check.” So I called Aqua finance back and told the representative what Wintrust Mortgage representative said. The Aqua finance representative placed me on hold because she said she needed to speak to her supervisor. The Aqua finance representative said “we will have reissue me the check back and to make a payment because I’m behind on payment.” I then called my insurance company Progressive ASI explained the situation to the representative. There were (2) checks 4034.94 & $7870.72 totaling $11,905.66. So my insurance company reissued another check in the amount of 11,905.66 so I sent the check to my new mortgage company because I refinanced in December of 2019. My insurance said the checks had to be reissued because I changed mortgage companies. So they combined both checks into (1) $11,905.66. I sent it to ClearPath lending who sold my mortgage to Freedom mortgage. ClearPath lending endorsed the check overnighted it to Freedom Mortgage. Freedom Mortgage endorsed the check & mailed the check to me. I deposited the check on 04/21/2020. I attempted to pay bills and (2) days later the check was recall but the Insurance company. The reason the $7870.72 portion was cashed & not returned. I called Aqua finance and I’ve not received the returned check amount and no explanation. I have a (2) invoices where they applied the funds to my account. The statement says my next payment is due August of 2023. I need help y account was overdrawn because of the check. My SSDI check my children’s benefits checks & VA compensation have been taking to pay the delinquent amount and I have insufficient charges as well. I was reissued the by my insurance company Progressive ASI $4034.94 & I deposited the check but now I’m unable to pay the contractor for my solar panels $5,565.32 as well as pay my mortgage & bills putting me further behind. I need help immediately please.

Aqua Finance Response • May 05, 2020

Aqua Finance has processed the refund on 5/1/2020. We expect he will have the check that was inadvertently sent to us within 5-7 business days. We apologize for the confusion. Thank you.

[Hello, this does not resolve my issues with Aqua Finance Inc. They purposely held held the funds & I lost everything. My account returned all transactions and gave my overdraft fees as well as suspended my overdraft enrollment. My SSDI & Survivor payments were taken to resolve the debt as a result of Aqua Finance nat returning the funds that they cashed March 10, 2020. I have 3 invoices stating that I do not have a payment until August of 2023. At this time I’m not able to feed my family during this crisis. I was told in early April that the funds would be returned before putting the check in for deposit. I’m have disconnection notices from Excel energy SunPower & AllState Insurance as well as I’ve lost my ability to overdraft my account. I want all overdraft charges returned promptly. I also would like to know why di they wait to return the funds May1,2020 when I was told in early that the funds would be returned. ]Regards

Aqua Finance Response • May 13, 2020

Aqua Finance is unable to refund any monies to Mr.. The check was mailed to us and we returned it. We advised him that proof was needed that a stop payment would not be issued on the check and unfortunately this caused a delay in the refund. The check was sent to a lock box and we are unable to manually review each check. No payments have been made to Aqua Finance and we are willing to waive any late fees that have accrued, but I am sorry we cannot refund any fees assessed to him by his bank as the check was mailed to us. Thank you.

[I do not accept that because I have an invoice from you stating next payment August of 2023. Await my next Aqua finance this is extremely wrong. I’m attaching your think based off this statement. I need legal help at this time.]

I called Aqua Bright around March 23 to get a pay off amount. I was asked if I was renting or selling my home and I stated renting and would either pay off the water softener system or continue making payments. Two days later I learned from the Title agency that they put a lien on my home. On March 27th, the lien was satisfied. Please note I have never received any documentation that a lien was added or removed. I confirmed today the lien is still recorded and no lien release has been recorded. It's been 35 days since Aqua Bright was paid in full and very concerning they have not filed a lien release.

I was scammed by this company. I was told by their salesman that I had 30 days to return the product if I didn't like it. He very much emphasized that and was one of the key selling points for me. Well on day 4 I called to return the unit because I didn't notice any difference on how my water felt. I was told it was actually a 3 day return policy and I that I couldn't return the unit. But what they did do was send me a new contract for 2800$ instead of the original price of 6500$. Total scam.

I have been making regular payments to this company via automatic withdrawals. I recently changed bank accounts and went online to make this change on the company's website. I was not able to do this on their website so I contacted their customer service department. I spoke with a representative to make the payment and to give them my new banking information. Today I received a letter stating that my payment was late for April and that I would be assessed a $20 late fee. I then called them back to say that payment was made and cleared my new bank account on April 16th. They told me to send them my bank statement to show what the before and after amounts were in my account. I said I would not be sending my statement to them as it is private information and then asked to speak to a manager. After explaining the situation to him he told me my account was showing paid for April but since I didn't go on the website to cancel my auto-pay the $20 fee would be assessed. I asked how I could be assessed a late fee for a payment that was made on time, and was told that since the website deals with a third party and I didn't cancel auto-pay online I would have to pay it. But I tried to explain to him that I wasn't able to do this on the website which is why I called the company in the first place. The customer service for this company is very poor and if I didn't already have this loan I would never use this company.

Aqua Finance Response • May 05, 2020

Aqua Finance has reviewed Ms. complaint. We empathize with the frustrations and agree that this situation was confusing and challenging for her. As a gesture of good will, we have waived the $20.00 fee that was assesed to her account. She should see this reflected on her next billing statement. If she has any further questions, she may contact our office at 1-800-234-3663. Thank you.

We've had this system for about a year now and have two complaints. One: there is no noticeable change in our water (as promised) and two: we have been paying for a year and only 200 of the 9,000 is paid off. When called, the company gave us a run-around insisting it was our fault for only doing minimum payments and that only 10% of the payment was interest. $80 is not 10% of $200. Qhen asked how to fix the situation, we were told that we could not. We have to pay off the amount and deal with the removal of the system on our own.

This is just a scam through and through and it's absolutely disgusting.

Aqua Finance Response • May 19, 2020

Aqua Finance is in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr.. We have investigated his concerns and offer our findings. We hope this response provides clarity and brings closure to this matter.

On April 8, 2019 Mr. purchased a water treatment system from Elite Water. Aqua Finance, Inc. financed this purchase. Mr., according to the terms of his contract had until April 11, 2019 to cancel this transaction. He was offered a 3 month deferral promotion on his contract with a first payment due on July 8, 2019. The first payment was not made until August 28, 2019; 51 days after it was due. In accordance with the promotion, interest begins the date the loan completion certificate was signed as stated on the contract even though payments did not begin for 90 days. Because the first payment was also late, Mr. accrued almost 5 months worth of interest when the first payment was made. Payments are applied to late fees, interest and then principal. As with all simple interest contractual agreements, interest accrues on a daily basis, the best way to pay the balance down sooner is to make payments on time each month within the billing cycle. Because payments are made each month approximately 7-10 days after the due date, more interest will accrue in the cycle. Therefore making payments every 30 days versus every 40 days will save approximately 26 dollars in interest each month at this time.

With respect to the functionality of the product, Aqua Finance cannot attest to that as the finance company. If Mr. is experiencing difficulties with the water system, we are happy to reach out to Elite Water on his behalf and schedule a service appointment or schedule a conference call. If he wishes to do this, we ask that he call our office at 1-800-234-3663. Thank you.

On December 3rd, 2019, after having my water tested with a representative with Pure H2O in Columbus, Ohio, I purchased a Rainsoft Home Water Treatment System from Pure H2O at a cost of $5895. The representative explained that to me that the cost and that I all I had to pay was $50 a month until it was paid off or I could pay it off early by paying extra. She made no mention that it would be financed through Aqua Finance with a high interest rate. She also told me that I would not have to make my 1st payment until March 2020. By the time I got my first statement from Aqua Finance which stated that I had no payment due but was being charged $38 a month in interest, I was outside of Pure H2O's return/refund window. On March 8th, I made a payment of $100 to Aqua Finance and I transferred my Aqua Finance balance of $5942.43 to my *** credit card at 0% interest for 18 months. On my March *** statement it shows that *** paid Aqua Finance and transferred my balance from them to my *** credit account. My Aqua Finance statement dated March 18th, 2020 shows my payment of $100 posted on March 12th, 2020 and the payment from *** being posted on March 17th, 2020. Also, my March 18th, 2020 Aqua Finance statement shows the previous balance was $5986.99 with payments received by Aqua Finance of $6042.43. My was paid off and I overpaid it by $55.44. My March 18th, 2020 Aqua Finance statement, also shows a charge of $38.31 interest on March 18th, 2020, 1 day after the account paid off with payments that included the extra $55.44. I should not have been charged interest as the account was paid off. I also began contacting Aqua Finance on March 24th, 2020 and asking them to close my account. I was told to call back in 10 days even though my Aqua Finance March 18th, 2020 showed that had received all the money and then some to pay off my account and still charged me $38.81 interest after the account was paid off. I called again on April 10th, 2020 which was 17 days later. I spoke with a lady named *** at Aqua Finance. She said she was looking at her computer and it was not showing paid off and closed. She said she would resubmit it and email me a statement of the account being paid off when she received it. Today is April 24th, 2020 and I have never heard back from her. I called her twice on April 13th, 2020, once on April 22nd, 2020 and today, April 24th, 2020, for a total of 4 attempts since I spoke with her on April 10th, 2020. I have left messages each time and she has not returned any of them. Today, April 24th, 2020, I checked my credit report and it shows that I have a $6002 balance with *** which I was made a member of when I purchased the water system. The lady I spoke with said that I needed to talk with Aqua Finance. As I said, my credit report shows that I now have a $6002 balance with I guess, Aqua Finance and it also shows my $6000 balance with *** because of the payment they made to Aqua Finance to transfer the balance to my *** credit account. Also, my credit score went down 22 points!

I do not understand the response. It just says "Aqua Finance is in"

This is a formal complaint about Aqua Finance company and Connexus Credit Union. Neither company responded to the complaint I mailed to them concerning the final payment on my interest deferred account. I forwarded a letter to both companies wishing to have the deferred interest on my account waived.
I wrote both companies and I also logged a complaint on Aqua Finance’s website. Neither company has contacted me. On March 1, 2020, I called Aqua Finance where and I was told that they received my request to have the deferred interest waived was denied. When I asked why I was not contacted, I was told that they were under no obligation to call me back to discuss waiving the deferred interest.
My request centered on the fact that I was five days past the expiration date and the remaining balance was $245. I always paid the account by the due date. There was never an issue with me paying them. I paid monthly using the Aqua Finance bill pay system. There was nothing on the website that discussed when the deferred financing would expire.
Since the deferred finance expiration was not clearly marked on the bill pay service, I should be refunded the amount of $227.90, the amount for deferred financing. As a result, the following suggestions should be made to ensure no other customers experience the same problem.
1. The online bill pay system should show the expiration date of the deferred financing.
2. The due date and the expiration date should be the same. This was my issue.
3. A letter and or phone call should be sent out one (1) month before the expiration date of the deferred financing.
I was a good customer and was treated like the sm of the earth. Now, I want to let everyone know about this company.

Aqua Finance is in receipt of the complaint filed by Mrs.. We have investigated her claims and offer our findings. We hope this response provides clarity and brings closure to this matter. Mrs. financed a water treatment system through Aqua Finance in January of 2019 with a promotional program of 12 months same as cash. The promotion begins when the contract is signed. Mrs. was mailed 12 monthly billing statements indicating the promotional end date and I have attached the billing statement that was mailed to her in November that shows the end date of 1/23/2020. This information is located on her billing statement each month. On February 10th, 2020 Ms. contacted our office regarding missing her promotion. A supervisor explained the promotional period to her. According to the conversation, Mrs. ultimately hung up on the representative. On 3/2/2020 we received a payment in the amount of $227.98. Mrs. account is now paid in full and has been closed. We sincerely apologize for any mistreatment she received by our staff and value her as a customer. No further monies are owed on this account. If she has any further questions, she is welcome to contact our office at 1-800-234-3663. Thank you.

I spoke with an Aqua Finance representative that also sent me a letter for a payoff amount, they also said I had until April 10th, 2020 to payoff the amount in full, I told them I would like to pay it in full before that date, they was no way to pay over the phone, they charged me another $100 by taking money out of my recurring payments. The representative then said they received the payment in FULL on April 7th and that the account was closed, on April 15th they took out another $100 and are NOW saying under contract you were 6 days late and there is no allowed time as the representative had stated. They lied to me to get another $350+ for finance charges,.... this is fraud, I signed a letter that they received stating to close my account and that if paid by April 10th there would be no penalty finance charges,....

Hello,

I recently called into your contact center to ask about waiving one month of our loan due to the current conditions of the world. I was told I was unable to waive one bill. However, all of our creditors are allowing us if need be to waive all of our payments for at least 1 to 3 months - NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

As I can see your rating is an F on the Revdex.com, which means you do not care about your customers.

All I am asking for is, 1 month to be placed on hold and added to the end of our loan, in this case you are getting MORE Interst from your customers..

We are unable to use the camper at the moment due the conditions.

Please allow us to skip one month of our payments

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the claim.

Hello!

This complaint is not resolved. The May payment needs to be waived and added to the end of the loan, you win more interest money from me on this.

I will not be paying the May payment and will pay June and it will not show negative on my credit report.

please waive the May payment as all other lenders are allowing at least one to 3 payment to be added to the end of the loan.

thanks!

Regards

Aqua Finance is certainly willing to defer payments in the event of a financial hardship related to COVID-19. If she may demonstrate a financial hardship we will defer a payment. We ask that she calls our office at 1-800-234-3663. Thank you.

We purchased a water softener from Kinetico. We were willing and able to pay full cost up front however, the salesman told us about a 6-month interest free payment option through Aqua Finance. Throughout the payment period we made every payment on time according to the due date. The last payment of roughly $200 was made on the due date as directed on the bill. We were then told that we would be charge a high interest for the entire period and the entire amount because, despite paying the bill on the due date, we hadn't paid by something called the promotion date, which occurred a few days before the due date. We were never told explicitly about this promotion date and it is hid in the fine print. The date and small accompanying instructions are actually printed in a smaller font size so as to hide them from the customer. We paid the interest so that it would not undergo it's daily accrual.

Aqua Finance is in receipt of the complaint filed by ***. *** had a 6 month same as cash promotion that ended on March 16. 2020. A payment was made on March 20, 2020, 4 days after the promotional period ended. On April 1, 2020, *** called our office regarding the outstanding balance of $100.09. Each monthly billing statement indicates the promotional end date as does the contract. Unfortunately because the promotional period ended and *** paid the remaining balance, we are unable to waive or credit the amount paid. The account is now paid in full and no further monies are owed. If *** has any further questions, they may contact our office at ***. Thank you.

Aqua Finance is in receipt of the rebuttal filed by Mr.. We have thoroughly reviewed his account. We certainly empathize with his frustrations, but do not believe we acted unethically or in a deceptive manner. For Mr. and the Revdex.com Convenience I have attached the contract signed by Mr. that indicates his promotion on the front page and have highlighted this information. I have also attached every billing statement that was sent to Mr. that, each month, states the date his promotion ends on. We believe this information was clearly conveyed to him and provided to him each month on his billing statement. We know Mr. had access to view his billing statements online because he enrolled in our online billing portal on 10/14/2019 at 9:01 am. We unfortunately will not be able to refund Mr. any money. We believe our response has provided clarity and brought closure to this matter. Thank you.

I ***r, has a dispute with 03/2020 and 4/2020 billing payments that is due by the 15th of each month. I paid March, 2020 billing payment 0f $117.80 and $32.20 for principal by check on March 1, 2020 as well mailed out on March the 1st. I received my new bill on March 28, 2020 for April, 2020 payment for $257.40. I was over charged $100.00, where my payments $140.00 plus $10.00 for principal that equal to $150.00 a month. This is not the first time this had happen. In 12/2019 the company sent me a bill that said I was paid up for the month of Dec. 2020. On January, 2020 the billing department sent me another letter saying I owed them for $300.00 for the months of Dec,2019 and Jan, 2020. I am tired what this company is doing, because it is messing with my credit scores for late deliquated. I called twice , 03/28/2020 and again 03/30/2020 this morning. I received a returned phone call from Ms. *** at 877-369-4330 ext. 1238. Ms. did not want to hear about the billings and messing up my credit history. Ms. hung the phone up on me, and now I am writing to you. I have my check copies that it was paid but the billing department didn't take the money out of the checking account until 03/25/2020. That cause the payment to be late on their part and making me look that I'm not paying my bills on time. I been with this company for 5 years, never been late on my payments and always sent extra money on my principal, in which; I don't see the payments going down.

Aqua Finance is in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr.
***. We take these and all complaints seriously. We have investigated his claims and offer our
findings. We hope this response provides
clarity and brings closure to this matter.

Mr. monthly billing statements are sent out on the
24th of each month. On March
24th, 2020 Aqua Finance received two payments from Mr.; one
for $32.50 and one for $117.80. The
billing statement is generated prior to the posting of the payment therefore
when Mr. received his bill in the mail, it did not accurately reflect
the payments made. I can verify that at
no point since Aqua Finance purchased Mr. account from Carmel Financial,
has it reported late. He has had zero late
payments that would have reported to the credit bureaus. If he has evidence to support the contrary,
we ask that he provide us with that documentation. As of today, April 9th, Mr.’s
current balance is $3,251.83. His
original amount financed was $6,980.00. Our records show a principal reduction to date of $3,753.48. To avoid future interest charges, Mr.
is welcome to pay his account off at any time as there is no penalty for
pre-payment. We do apologize for any
confusion caused on the call Mr. had with our representative. We value him as a customer and if he has any
further questions, he is welcome to contact our office. Thank you.

40 1 star ratings should tell you everything you need to know about this company!
Like every single complaint here, mine is a very similar experience.
The salesperson tells me I only need to pay $90 for 86 months to pay off my water softener + water filter installation. And then after installation I am handed a contract with no mention of payment, no mention of # of months. It's a 9.9% APR for first 12 months and goes to 15% after that.
Complete bait & switch tactic employed by both Ecowater and AquaFinance. Terrible!!!

Paying this company is a joke. They send me a bill I call to make payment, hassle. Then I get another bill, saying I owe still. Payment came out of account. I called they have the payment but it didn't update to bill. So when I set up account online. Still doesn't show the first payment. Two months later payment doesn't show credited, except when I call. The worst is.. they take your payment from bank hold it till due date then credit it.. interest. Keeps stacking.. VERY DISSATISFIED!!
