Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am dissatisfied and displeased and do not want to continue business with this companyI want my $returned to meI did not receive installation of ID and EMAIL Protection on my laptop computer, nor were the issues concerning my laptop fixedThe check for $was cashed BEFORE any work was completed on my laptop, and I did not receive the DocuSign Service Agreement for "review and signing" until AFTER the $check was cashedNo legal authorization was given to take my moneyI feel the company wants more time to figure out a scheme not to return my moneyI am y.oand retiredMy experience with that company was terrible Regards, [redacted] ***

I received a pmessage which locked my computer and told me to call the number on the pop-up I tried several times to delete the pto no avail So, I called the number I was told that I had a virus and they needed to clean up my computer I was asked how old my computer was (about two months old) and since it was under warranty, "***" said he could clean it up for free I gave him remote access to my computer (dumb!) He then showed me a screen that had plus errors on it and he said it was because I didn't have anti-virus or firewall protection He said for $he could download Microsoft Defender for me and it would be good for one year He then told me for two years it would cost $and then gave me a price for or years (I forget which) for another hundred bucksHe highly recommended the latter but I declined He told me it wasn't his job to sell me anything but again recommended the latter He kept talking and talking, until I had to tell him NO in no uncertain terms I have since found out that Microsoft Defender is free and is loaded onto every computer with Windows I also discovered I had McAfee anti-virus which doesn't expire until I too paid by e-check so they have my account number now (again dumb!) Before he could do anything, he said I had to sign a service agreement which I stupidly did via digital signature (actually, he did it for me not allowing any time to review the agreement) The agreement says that I am verifying complete functionality BEFORE signing the document which was not the case When I received a copy of the agreement (it was put on my desktop), it shows I paid $for service from 9/29/thru 10/29/I thought I was paying for Microsoft Defender for one year After he did put my signature on the document, he said that he would work on my computer and call me back when he was done Then someone by the name of "***" called me back I asked what happened to "***" and he said that he was taking over for [redacted] as the Tier team I find it strange that both men spoke with heavy accents, their voices were identical and their names were very American My computer was working fine before I got the pand it seems to be working fine again except significantly slowerI really don't know what they did to my computer or what they put on it, so will have to just wait and see I have canceled payment on the e-check because I did not receive what I thought I was paying for I have tried to call the two toll free numbers they show on the service agreement, but no one answers After servicing my computer they kept calling and emailing me until I finally had to tell them not to call again, now I can't reach them at all Don't know if they are just after money or personal information At any rate, I have purchased identity theft protection and changed my passwords as a result of this scam BE AFRAID -- BE VERY, VERY AFRAID!!

Customer Name: [redacted] Account ID: [redacted] Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for notifying us on this complaintWe strive to provide our customers with the best possible service, and when our customers feel that it is failing to meet their expectations, it's important for us to knowWe at Arieana LLC keep a record of all incoming and outbound calls Customer called on the 30th of June for Pissue on his computer, customers was offered remote , in an attempt to assist the customer efficiently, customer was probed about his computer further our technicians assisted Mr [redacted] as he agreed to subscribed for a 2yr year technical support plan Post working on the computer, Technician contacted Mr [redacted] for the completion of the documents and also for post service Feedback, While talking to the technician customer had certain queries about the digital signatureThe customer’s query was clearly and properly answered by the senior technician, however while technician was trying to answer Mr [redacted] ’s futher queries customer disconnected the call Mr [redacted] was the repeatedly called as a company policy to check if his computer was working fine however there was no response from his end, finally on the 20th of July Mr [redacted] received the call , he had certain queries which we tried to answered however he wanted a refund , as per the company policy a refund of 25% of the total amount i.e$was offered to the customer , Mr [redacted] agreed to the refund however when asked him to reply to the refund email ,he disagreed and stated he needed a refund of $450, tried to educate the customer that it was a company policy however he disconnected the call , an email was also forwarded to technician for a request to process refund , customer replied to the email has been attached below , if required we also have call recording if requested However Mr [redacted] feedback is still important to us as we strive to improve our products, services, and overall customer experience Sincerely Customer Service Team Arieana LLC

I don't know how this signature was sent online but people must know someone has been copying an image of their signature and have been using it online Regards, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for the update on this complaintWith regards to this complain, we already shared that in case of customer disability or death Arieana LLC makes it easy to transfer the warranty however not the ownership of Arieana LLC services from owner to nomineeMean’s a nominee will only be entitled for utilizing Arieana LLC services registered under the plan however will not be entitled for any refundEven under our refund policy it’s mentioned that the refunds options are open for days from the date of registration and *** *** registered with Arieana LLC on 24-Sep-2014, and also took help on different instances for fixing his computerWe do take genuine feedback seriously however we do not accept anyone questioning our credibilityWe have helped the customer with the concern posted and would request the Revdex.com to close this complaint.Regards,Arieana LLC

we tried to educate the customer about the authenticity and the importance of
the Digital SignatureAs the customer has more queries concerning about the
digital signature let me try and educate him about the same once more :
What is Digital Signature?
A digital (or electronic) signature is an alternate means
to formally and legally sign a documentOr, as the Electronic Transactions Act
of 1999, So a digital signature replaces a wet (hand-written) signature
In many countries, including the United States, digital
signatures have the same legal significance as the more traditional forms of
signed documentsThe United States Government Printing Office publishes
electronic versions of the budget, public and private laws, and congressional
bills with digital signatures and also Digital signatures and seals are legally
enforceable across the U.Sfollowing the ESIGN (Electronic Signatures in
Global and National Commerce) Act enacted in June How digital signatures work?
Digital signatures are based on public key cryptography (the
art of writing or solving codes.), also known as asymmetric cryptographyUsing
a public key algorithm such as RSA, one can generate two keys that are
mathematically linked: one private and one public.
Is digital signature safe?
Yes it is safe, as the value of the hash is unique to the
hashed dataAny change in the data, even changing or deleting a single
character, results in a different valueThis attribute enables others to validate
the integrity of the data by using the signer's public key to decrypt the hash
If the decrypted hash matches a second computed hash of the same data, it
proves that the data hasn't changed since it was signedIf the two hashes
don't match, the data has either been tampered with in some way (integrity) or
the signature was created with a private key that doesn't correspond to the
public key presented by the signer
How is a digital signature signed ?
Most modern email programs support the use of digital

All our documents are only and only signed post
authorisation from the customer, post payment which is also post the customer’s
authorisationWe don’t / can’t sign any of the documents from our end, the
digital signature is always performed from the customer end
Answering the customer’s second concern, that is, about the
virus issue on the customer’s computer
that are older than the computer itselfWe agree that we did educate the
customer that the virus present on the
computer can be due to millions of
reason, some of which could be present due to an infected file or a folder, an
infected spam or an infected network, even if the customer’s computer is a day
old, however, unknowingly, if they click on an infected mail or a folder it
might affect the computer and that is the reason why we advise our customers to
call us for a regular check-ups
As per the company policy we are ready to offer the customer
a partial refund of $(rounded off) after deduction of 25%A mail was
sent to the customer informing about this as well to which the customer had
responded with a demand of at least $when our representative called the
customer. He even indicated that he will
remove his complaint from the Revdex.com portal if $is refunded to himHowever,
we will have to request the customer to understand it to be a matter of company
policy, and we are more than willing to refund 75% of his paid amount

My mother was online today and a window from this company, Arieana LLC was flashing a warning stating that if she backed out of the page her hard drive would be wiped outIt listed a whole list of problems and urged her to contact them to fix the issuesWhen she called them, they were asking for her checking account information stating they do not do credit card over the internetBefore she called me, the person she talked to had her to access Team Viewer and allow them to access her laptopLuckily she called me and I told her to cut off the access and the WiFiThis company was trying to charge her over $to turn on her network access protection as well as fix something that was not even wrong with her computerWhen she cut off the access, the guy called her and asked why she cut off the accessThis company is nothing but a scam who will prey on people who have no or little knowledge of computersThey claim they don't call or scam people out of money, but this is a liePeople need to be aware of this company

Techs answered all my questions in real time and cleared the virus on my computerI felt relieved that the issue was cleared quickly and efficiently

Today, I had the same experience that Bob Cdid on 9/11/ A psaid my new (August) computer had a second virus infection I paid $last month for McAffee
protection After hours of remote control, Arieana LLC announced my hard drive
was clean and would be protected for years for a cost of $ I agreed They don't accept Pay Pal, or credit cards, so I gave my bank account numbers I got suspicious when the background voices on the phone were loud and interrupted by celebrations, where my agent muted the phone until it died down It must have been a den of hackers I have stopped payment at the bank

I called them on 11-6-15, and asked a Rep named *** as to when I should see the credit on my account. He indicated that it would take one week from the 11-6-date. He stated they could only send me $of the original $charged since it "cost them to process ???---always telling me I had "an infected computer and the only way to fix it was for them to insert THEIR program"???? (told me I needed SPECIAL SECURITY???). Trying to cancel within the required time became a "nightmare"...Thank you for your continued interest in matters such as this.
