RE:  [redacted]
Yesterday I received a call from [redacted] at Arieana, LLC, informing me that they had credited my (closed account) account the amount of [redacted].
I called Arieana, LLC, this morning and told them that no money has shown up as a deposit because the account that they say they deposited it in because that account was closed the day of the scam.
My bank informs me that if the money was deposited into a dead account, it may be routed into the new one; however, it would take as long asAugust 19th to show up if it actually was deposited in the first place.
Please keep this complaint pending until I notify you of this credit.  If, and when, this deposit of [redacted] shows up in my account, I will remove my complaint, but, until then, I do not wish to remove it.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I am dissatisfied and displeased and do not want to continue business with this company. I want my $300 returned to me. I did not receive installation of ID and EMAIL Protection on my laptop computer, nor were the issues concerning my laptop fixed. The check for $300 was cashed BEFORE any work was completed on my laptop, and I did not receive the DocuSign Service Agreement for "review and signing" until AFTER the $300 check was cashed. No legal authorization was given to take my money. I feel the company wants more time to figure out a scheme not to return my money. I am 70 y.o. and retired. My experience with that company was terrible.

Dear Revdex.com,Thank you for notifying us about the revert from the
customer
We beg to state that neither did we ignore nor did we
leave the customer's concern about the digital signature unseenIn fact on
both occasions (30th of June and the 20th July 2015)
we tried to educate the customer about the authenticity and the importance of
the Digital SignatureAs the customer has more queries concerning about the
digital signature let me try and educate him about the same once more :
What is Digital Signature?
A digital (or electronic) signature is an alternate means
to formally and legally sign a documentOr, as the Electronic Transactions Act
of 1999, So a digital signature replaces a wet (hand-written) signature
In many countries, including the United States, digital
signatures have the same legal significance as the more traditional forms of
signed documentsThe United States Government Printing Office publishes
electronic versions of the budget, public and private laws, and congressional
bills with digital signatures and also Digital signatures and seals are legally
enforceable across the U.Sfollowing the ESIGN (Electronic Signatures in
Global and National Commerce) Act enacted in June How digital signatures work?
Digital signatures are based on public key cryptography (the
art of writing or solving codes.), also known as asymmetric cryptographyUsing
a public key algorithm such as RSA, one can generate two keys that are
mathematically linked: one private and one public.
Is digital signature safe?
Yes it is safe, as the value of the hash is unique to the
hashed dataAny change in the data, even changing or deleting a single
character, results in a different valueThis attribute enables others to validate
the integrity of the data by using the signer's public key to decrypt the hash
If the decrypted hash matches a second computed hash of the same data, it
proves that the data hasn't changed since it was signedIf the two hashes
don't match, the data has either been tampered with in some way (integrity) or
the signature was created with a private key that doesn't correspond to the
public key presented by the signer
How is a digital signature signed ?
Most modern email programs support the use of digital
signatures and digital certificatesDigital signatures are also used
extensively to provide proof of authenticity, data integrity and
non-repudiation of communications and transactions conducted over the Internet
All our documents are only and only signed post
authorisation from the customer, post payment which is also post the customer's
authorisationWe don't / can't sign any of the documents from our end, the
digital signature is always performed from the customer end
Answering the customer's second concern, that is, about the
virus issue on the customer's computer
that are older than the computer itselfWe agree that we did educate the
customer that the virus present on the
computer can be due to millions of
reason, some of which could be present due to an infected file or a folder, an
infected spam or an infected network, even if the customer's computer is a day
old, however, unknowingly, if they click on an infected mail or a folder it
might affect the computer and that is the reason why we advise our customers to
call us for a regular check-ups
As per the company policy we are ready to offer the customer
a partial refund of $(rounded off) after deduction of 25%A mail was
sent to the customer informing about this as well to which the customer had
responded with a demand of at least $when our representative called the
customer. He even indicated that he will
remove his complaint from the Revdex.com portal if $is refunded to himHowever,
we will have to request the customer to understand it to be a matter of company
policy, and we are more than willing to refund 75% of his paid amount
Sincerely

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Dear Revdex.com I apologize for the delay in responding as my computer has been acting i.e. freezing, etc. up since the vendor installed programs without my permission.  Following up on the below complaint.  $200 of the $299 was returned to my spouse.  While this was not what was requested as in the state of Pennsylvania you have 48 hours to cancel a contract. Credit card was charged on a Thursday, contact with company was on Friday at which time we were told no one could resolve the issue untilMonday.  When we reached out to them on Monday we were past from one representative to another and treated as if we had done something wrong.  While we were disappointed with the offer my spouse accepted the refund. We did not however receive an apology, instead a representative from the company called requesting we withdrawal the complain.  Perhaps they will think about the way they treat individuals in the future so complaints do not get filed.  Hopefully this will be a learning experience for all parties concerned.  Please feel free to share our experience so others do no fall prey to such unprofessional, unethical, immoral businesses practices. [redacted]

My daughter was using her Apple computer when the screen froze and a window appeared on her computer. The window said there was "illegal activity" detected and that her credit card information, Facebook password, and all other passwords on computer were compromised and that "[redacted] suggests" that she call 877 475 9002. She called the number.
A representative of the company, Arieana LLC, named [redacted], showed her to how to "force quit” to unfreeze the computer and then had her download a program, which would give them access to her computer. She downloaded the program. Over the phone, [redacted] gave my daughter a password to log in which gave them access to her computer. [redacted] then controlled her screen. [redacted] said that criminals had installed software that resided on her computer which "stole her IP address" and gave the so-called criminals access to her computer. [redacted] said that Arieana LLC could have the software removed, but my daughter would have to pay them $120 for one month’s service. [redacted] tried to upsell my daughter into purchasing 500 for four months protection. She opted for the one month service. Arieana LLC then sent her an email to e-sign an agreement, which she did, and my daughter then gave my credit card information, home address and email information. Arieana LLC then sent her an email with a purchase confirmation.
My daughter started to get suspicious due to the upselling and vague comments about what was wrong with her computer. [redacted] referred her to their better business rating. My daughter then contacted me. I told her to turn off her computer immediately and call Apple tech support. Apple support logged into her computer remotely and deleted the application that Arieana LLC had her install. They told her that there was nothing wrong with her computer (other than the software that she had paid to have installed) and that she was a victim of "scareware". Apple suggested that she call the police, which she did. The police said that she could file a report online at the FBI’s internet crime support site and also file a report at the local precinct. I called Citibank, requested a new credit card and disputed the charges from Arieana LLC that appeared on my statement. I then called [redacted] and a representative confirmed that Arieana LLC is not authorized by them to contact customers or provide any services to its customers. Since Apple had cut off access to Arieana LLC, the company tried several times to contact my daughter. Having returned home, I answered a call from Arieana and complained about their fraudulent tactics. They insisted that they did nothing wrong and that my daughter called them. I replied that I believed that there tactics were fraudulent and that I would be filing a police report. The representative said that he would refund the $120 charged to my credit card. I have not yet seen the refund appear on my account and I have disputed the charges.
