Found this company to be in disorder at best. We put 1/3 $ down and signed a contract to have work completed 5 to 8 weeks from final measurements. 12 weeks later they failed to show up and complete a (1) day job which was to replace tub & shower with a walk in shower. They blamed it on their Sales Rep for promising 5 to 8 weeks when the window was closer to 14 to 18 weeks according to the operations manager. Are there actually people out there that would pay a 3rd down only to be put on a 3 to 4 month waiting list. Beware of companies like this that over sell their capabilities. I recommend getting it in writing as to when they will do the work. The main office never realized what the Contract completion time line was until we started to call and complain about not seeing or hearing anything from them as to why they had not scheduled our job. In our opinion the sales rep was a great., he represented the company and the product line well, but it was the main office that neglected to follow through on the signed Contract.

There was initially some miscommunication on the start date of this project. The customer did not want to wait for their bathroom install so we are refunding their deposit check.

They did a shower/tub replacement for us. Took longer from contract to installation than I expected but otherwise was a very good company to work with. Guy who did the quote wasn't pushy. Customer service checked on us a couple of times both before and after installation. Work took one day to complete and site was left clean. Tub looks great! They even replaced the trap so that it drains better than ever. Really a 4.5 Star review if that was an option bc the only negative was the delays.

We had Arnold's home improvement put windows and sliding door in our home they did a wonderful job would highly recommend them.

We had Arnold's put a new roof on our house a few years ago. They were professional in every aspect of the work from tear off through install. They were thoughtful and detail oriented, covering shrubs and small plantings to protect from damage. The job started and ended just as pridicted and without a problem or issue. We had them back just recently to do some gutter and downspout work and we were well pleased.

If you like constant excuses about delays, no-show scheduled work appointments, broken promises, lack of communication, poor workmanship, issues after installation, doing your own clean-up, and overall dissatisfaction - then Arnold's is the contractor for you.

Consumer hired Arnold Home Improvement. The salesman showed up on 11.7/2017. He wanted his
bathtub and shower replaced. By the time the salesman left he got more than what they wanted. The
salesman said a man would come out to re measure and go over the figures. The shower would be
installed before the end of the year. When the man showed up he asked him what he needed to do to
have the shower installed before the end of the year. The man told him they would not start until after
the New Year. Consumer thought he could still resend the contract as the contract had not been
finalized. He called them and was told he had no 3 day right to cancel. Now seems the installer has
personal issues. He told the man who showed up to measure that the salesman high balled him that he
did not get what he wanted. He wanted a $3000.00 job but ended up with a $8000.00. The supplier told
him that if he backs out of the contract he will lose his $2500.00 which was a 3rd down of the total.

Desired Outcome

Consumer wants to back out of the contract with no penalties.

After the initial sale the salesman revised the work order removing some items to make the customer happy. The customer insisted it was too much money but did not want to cancel. The contract that was signed by the consumer states an estimated install date of 10-12 weeks after remeasure. The consumers materials were delivered January 18, at which time the home owner said he wanted to cancel the installation, we let him know that the contract states there is a 30% cancellation fee. March 23, 2018 the General Manager spoke with the customer and told him our investment was $2,241. The normal cancellation fee is 30% of the contract plus the materials purchased. The General Manager was being gracious by offering a material only fee. The home owner after speaking with the GM decided he was going to go ahead with the project and either pay cash at the end or do an in-house payment plan, installation was set up April 6th and at no point did he seem unhappy with the decision to proceed.

I accepted the response to have the project completed 4/6/18,and would either finance part of the balance or pay it off. However, the company must have recieved the complaint from the Revdex.com and decided not to do the installation after all and did not show up. I did not receive any notification that the installation would not be done. I would appreciate my shower being installed as promised and the project completed.

NO SHOW NO CALL I HAD TO CALL TO SEE WHERE THEY WERE AT ANOTHER EXCUSE SAID THE 14TH NO SHOW AGAIN I HAD TO CALL SAID THEY TOLD ME THE 15TH NOW SOMEONE CALLS AND SAID THEY COULD COME ON 16TH THEY WORKED 16TH 17TH 18TH ALL THAT WAS COMPLETED WAS SHOWER IM HAVING THE WHOLE BATHROOM REDONE DIDNT COME UNTIL MARCH 6TH 7TH 8TH STILL NOT COMPLETED GAVE NO IDEA WHEN THEY WILL RETURN PLEASE HELP

We apologize for the inconveniences that you may have been caused. We value each of our customers and strive to deliver great customer service as well as a quality job. It is clear that we missed the mark on this one.
Yes, we have had some scheduling issues which we do apologize for. When we were able to get our installer out there he worked through the weekend to make up for lost time. The wet area was completed. The job was delayed again due to a manufacturing issue with the flooring. When the flooring issue was resolved our installer came out and again worked Friday, Saturday & Sunday in order to get the job done. The shower door had to be reordered due to a manufacturers flaw. We now have the new shower door in our possession. We are currently waiting on the vinyl threshold to go into the doorway. We should have this in by 3/15 and then a we will schedule the last instillation to caulk the acrylic wainscot, and install the threshold. We have tried very hard to work around our customers schedule and have done several extras at no cost like moved electrical light box fixture twice to the locations provided by the customer, we also purchased and installed a new heat register. The cost of this would have been $362. As soon as we have all of the necessary products needed to complete the project, we will be calling to get the job scheduled.

We have reviewed our process as it relates to this job, and we have made the necessary adjustments, so that moving forward, we can learn from this and improve. Thank you for your patience and understanding

"This is in response to Arnolds explanation to my concerns on the job they were to do on my bathroom.

I have kept a schedule of all times they were to come, times they came, jobs that they completed. I also have pictures of the problems that occured and when they were fixed. Enclosed find a copy of our contract and date signed and given time of complement of bathroom 4-6 days. It has been 9 weeks and guess what bathroom is still not complete. There are still 2sm areas that need attention.

I would like to state that his contractor who was doing this job should be more experience than myself, like the electrical light box fixture he said I told him to move. WRONG he did not have enough sense to measure cabinet therefore there was not enough room for a mirror so he moved it up because of his mistake. Also this same person put our shower in when I went to take a shower cold water. Why because handle in wrong place. Blue was hot Red was Cold he had to fix that when he came back. Then there was the light switch. Down is On Up is Off wrong they were reversed my husband fixed for me because it was driving me crazy.

As far as the so called heat register I did not ask for it the prgect mgr. *** was the person who got that and told me that was because of all the problems with this project. Now if they want 362.00 for this they need to get it from their contractor because of him this has taken so long to complete.

As for patience and understanding I for one have none. If at any time someone in authority had given me the courtesy of even one call this complaint could have been avoided instead they just kept comming up with excuses.

Revdex.com spoke with *** at the business. He stated that he will install the customer supplied top and faucet at no charge. The business would like the consumer to post a positive outcome to this complaint, once the work is completed.

I hired Arnold's Home Improvement to do a bathroom/bathtub remodel. I am very happy with the results. I also hired someone else to do the floor work in the bathroom, as the only thing Arnold's did was a shower insert and faucet replacement. I would advise anyone seeking similar work to make sure to ask questions about the process of determining needs and cost. In hindsight I wish they would have looked further before additional problems were uncovered later. Still very pleased with the outcome.

I am a homeowner in Lucas County with a bathroom that needed repair for years. The old plaster had decayed in the shower wall and the tiles fell off. After talking to several contractors who could give neither a time frame or solid estimate, I was wondering where I would find experts that could resolve the issue. Recently, I had seen a commercial for Arnold's Home Improvement on the local news, and the commercial had the right answer.

***, my sales representative, gave me a very thorough demo on the product and process after witnessing the issue in my bathroom. He made a guarantee that the replacement would look amazing and match up seamlessly. He offered a definitive price and I made a down payment that day.

After the fitting and manufacturing process, contractor *** dropped in and finished the entire project in one day. Not only did he do a stellar job, but pointed out a couple of other mechanical things in the house that I could rectify. The shower wall looks amazing and indeed seamlessly lined up with the tile.

Their customer service and product are exactly what you need if your home needs a little help. I highly recommend Arnold's Home Improvement!

I searched the Internet and Home Advisor.com and found ***'s Home Improvement.
Their representative, Mr *** was compassionate, respectful, patient and took his time to explain every step of the way. He is a great asset to Arnold's Home Improvement. Additionally, the workers who came to do the bath remodeling worked hard and diligently and with sincerity. They end product was to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company.

I got my Windows and my bathroom done. They did wonderful job, they were very expertis what they did.

My husband and I used Arnold's Home Improvement for a complete tear off of our roof in November 2017. We are first-time home buyers and bought an older home with some roofing issues which we knew needed attention. We have never had to complete such a big project our home and were a little nervous. Our rep was *** From financing, to color selection, to pricing, to the type of shingling selected, *** was helpful every step of the way. He was out to our home twice to make sure this was a smooth process for us. We had received quotes from multiple roofing companies and Arnold's quote was very straight forward. They gave us the best quote for the job and were very reputable and came through with quality. They weren't pushy like some of the other companies we had interviewed for the job and I felt like they were looking out for our best interest. I don't have enough good things to say about this company! I highly recommend Arnold's Home Improvement. We can't wait to start another home project with this company!

Overall, we were very pleased and happy with our renovation. We recently had our kitchen completely remolded including new cabinets and countertops. Everyone we worked with was friendly and able to accomodate our busy schedules.

I had my roof replaced by Arnold's Home Improvement in the fall and I would recommend them highly. There were a few issues that came up during install, but the company worked to correct them in a timely manner. Thank you!

Arnolds was a great company to work with from the beginning to the end of our project. ***, our salesman, was helpful in explaining options and answering our questions. He came during the project to check on the progress and to see if there was anything we needed. The installers always started on time and worked a full day. They even came on a Sunday to finish the installation and clean up. They did a great job cleaning up materials and scraps after the project. I was impressed with how the project manager inspected the roof when it was finished and quickly had the installers back to fix a minor detail. The roof looks amazing and we received many compliments. I would recommend Arnolds to anyone looking for a reliable, professional company to install your new roof.

We went with Arnold's Home Improvement for a redo of our bathroom and siding and we would highly recommend this company. They are professional, they clean up after themselves, and they offered various financing options to us and we could pick which one worked best for us. The sales reps really know their products and arrived in a timely manner to our home.

I have had a lot of different home improvement projects done over the years. One of those was a complete tear off and replacement of my roof by Arnold's Home Improvement. Out of all of the different companies that I have worked with, they were the best experience I have had by far. I received a competitive price, friendly sales reps, quick and accurate install. Any questions or concerns that I had were answered right away. I even had an issue a few months later where I thought I had a leak. They came right out and looked, only to discover that it was not coming from my roof but was related to the seal around a window and problems with my siding. Not only did they take the extra time to help show me where the problem was, they repaired it FOR FREE, even though it had nothing to do with the roof or their install. I always do, and always will recommend this company.

Have not called to set up date and time to come out and put up our gutters
It has been 6 weeks and no one has contacted about coming over to do the work. I called them on September 14 and they said they would be contacting us in a couple of days to set it up, and it has been 2 weeks and we have heard nothing. We have a signed contract and paid for and it would to nice to hear something about getting the job done.

For the company to call and set up a time that they will be coming out to do the work.

As I am unsure as to why Mr. did not receive our voice mail and yet another voice mail was left at 8:30 a.m. His gutters are scheduled to be installed this Wednesday, October 4, 2017. As we reiterated we are delayed due to the rain each day it has rained within the last few weeks which has been alot. We are also within our time frame on our customer check list. We sincerely apologize we are delayed however we are scheduled to install this Wednesday and will make sure this customer is satisfied.

They came on Thursday but with miscommunation they were not insulted right so someone is coming out this Sunday to look at the problem.

Due to the rain on the day we were scheduled to install it put us behind yet again and my installer called that very day and spoke to the homeowner to explain the situation. My installer also went and met with the customer on a Sunday 10/8/2017 to resolve these issues and they will be resolved in a timely manner.

Arnolds Home Improvment put a roof on our house a few years back and gave us a 15 yr. Warranty on all work. Since then they have been to our home more than 6 times to repair our leaky roof as a result of their poor craftsmanship. Now the owner is not returning our calls. We have to assume they do not want to honor the warranty on their work. We have had 3 other reputable roofers come out and inspect our roof as well as the so called repairs (from Arnolds) and have documentation and photos that support our claims that the roof was inproperly installed and the "so called" repairs were nothing more than sub par patch work ( involving lots of chaulking) to try and get us beyond the warranty period. Well it failed... now we have a a leaky roof due to improperly installed flashings and exposed nails. This has caused damage to our internal ceilings. It's recommended that we replace the entire roof...again.Product_Or_Service: New Roof

Alternative, they must be willing to completley re-do the roof as we have trusted them to patch/repair the roof they originally did and we have continued to have issues.
