I paid for the furniture on August 4,It had to be shipped to Ashley Furniture Store in Richmond, Virginia from Fredericksburgh, VirginiaI picked it up from Ashley Furniture on August 8, not the distribution centerIt was strapped down on the back of a pickup truck not a moving van as they statedThe sales representative at the Ashley store asked me to sign stating that I received the furnitureHe never said sign that I received it in good conditionIt was raining that day so the boxes were never opened until we got to North CarolinaI made contact with them the same day I picked it upThen I got a call back from customer service representative [redacted] , I was asked to send picturesOn August 13, [redacted] stated that the furniture would be replacedI then asked her if it could be shipped to North Carolina and she said that she would have to ask her general managerShe didn’t call me back until August 18, and that’s when it went from replacing the furniture to sending two drawersI guess by me asking them to ship it to North Carolina is when everything changedAll I want is what I paid for and nothing more

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As of this date nothing has been refundedWe are still being charged in full and that includes the delivery charge we were told was being refunded on July We have received a $gift card to Ashley Furniture Homestore that we will never useOn top of the lack of refund, the customer service has been horribleWe placed and order on June with a guaranteed delivery date of July 5th and they did not come throughIn fact from that day forward the entire order had problemsAt no point did we have all our furniture delivered, they delivered broken furniture (which I have a photo of) and we never had the bed delivered at allThey actually removed pieces from our order claiming they were delivered It has now been over a month and this situation has not been resolvedThe response from the store claiming that we have been refunded was an outright lieI will not be contacting the customer care department because it gets me nowhereThey do not answer the phone or return calls or emailsThey gave me the runaround and tried to pass the problem onto others who ignored us in the same wayI have a detailed time table, including dates, times and names of the entire situationPlease help me get this problem resolvedThank you.Regards, [redacted]
