AutoBidMaster Reviews (95)

Thank you for your partnership and correspondence regarding case # [redacted]
AutoBidMaster takes all customer concerns seriously. Our goal is always to provide efficient transactions and excellent customer service in a timely manner. We are sorry to hear that a customer has experienced...

otherwise.
We understand Mrs. [redacted] concern(s) are the following;
1. Late Payment Fee incurred due to payment not being received within the specified timeline stated in our terms and agreement.
2. Copart Storage Fee incurred when a purchased vehicle has not been picked up from the lot after 7 calendar days.
We have reviewed the information and researched Mrs. [redacted] account with due diligence as this matter is important to AutoBidMaster and we wish to address the concerns in order to come to an appropriate resolution.
A member of our Customer Relations Management team last reached out to this customer on
05/04/2016 @ 06:35 am and will be happy to follow up again on Monday, 5/23 to provide any additional information required. Please see below communication and/or action steps already done in efforts to reconcile this situation.
1. We advised Mrs. [redacted] that we unfortunately are not able to refund the late payment fee at this point in time. Mrs. [redacted] believes this late payment to be caused due to her selected financial institution’s verification process. We did inform her on 04/04 that we would be happy to further evaluate; however would need confirmation of receipt showing payment was initiated 03/25/2016 as she suggested in order to move forward. Confirmation has not yet been supplied.
2. Though AutoBidMaster offers shipping services, Mrs. [redacted] did elect to use a separate party. On 4/4, we advised our customer to follow up with her transporter in order to request a refund of the shipping fee due to their negligence and late pick up. We are more than happy to assist in verifying the fee with the Mrs. [redacted] transporter in order to assist her in obtaining resolution from them.
If there is any additional information we can provide, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:shouldn't listed as run and drive. The car doesn't even move forward or reverse under its own power. I called in they told me if it's listed run and drive it mean the car can move 10 feets into the parking spot. Which the car doesn't even move at all.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

1. AutoBidMaster take individual customers who are not directly qualified to bid in Copart auction. This business has made the process to take customers with less knowledge on these auction process. So, the business can't skip responsibility of customers making mistake due to not aware of business's non-user friendly systems.2. This is a chain from step 1. If I would be aware that I already won or highest in a bid, I would be happy to wait more than few hours for new purchases to show up in my account. 15 minutes is nothing. All of these system delay, unfriendly system led me make mistakes over and over. How will I be sure that these were not intentional from AutoBidMaster?3. I would say that there are gaps in business process or industries using which business like AutoBidMaster is taking advantage on new customers.4. Business offered me consignment which was another round to make money on me. They clearly said to me that a fee of $650 will be charged for each consignment. There is also no guarantee of getting my money back that other way around. The consultant also said over the phone that they don't want me to lose any money on these, they will help me to sell or register cars after I pay for them. These were to make me pay for it and then to run with hassles. They are working on a resolution of documentation concerns, because they had to. They sent me “FL – CERTIFICATE OF DESTRUCTION" without my name on it and without their signature as seller. This is another indication to prove that they know they were not doing the right thing.5. This is a false statement from business. I didn't accept them for shipping of my last 2 cars. I only asked them a quote. I have that email as proof. I was looking for pricing with other shipping companies and asked ABM for shipping price too. This is another indication. They probably realized that I may not stay with them because I only need cars for my personal use. So, they shipped the car to take my deposit. $980 to ship 2 cars from Miami to Tallahassee??I still have the last car with “FL – CERTIFICATE OF DESTRUCTION". I may use parts of it to build 1 or 2 different other rebuildable car. I may choose AutoBidMaster to purchase those if they make a full refund of my $1200 deposit. I will call all hassles end in here. If they don't, I will be left with no choices to go to civil court and seek compensation for all hassles, time, effect on personal life, effect in my job performance and reputation, all other that will be advised by my attorney. Court will decide who is right or wrong.Regards,[redacted]

AutoBidMaster is very sorry to hear that Mr. [redacted] has had a negative experience with our company. We are dedicated to customer service and take complaints like this very seriously. FedEx proof of delivery indicates that the customer's title was delivered to his mailing address on November 2, 2015....

After learning that Mr. [redacted] did not receive the title, we advised him to open a claim with FedEx.
The Terms and Conditions that Mr. [redacted] agreed to in order to gain access to our members-only online auto auctions clearly state that we are not responsible for any titles lost by mail and explain that processing fees will be incurred for all duplicate title requests.
However, given Mr. [redacted]'s dissatisfaction, we will waive our $300 duplicate title fee as a courtesy. We are reaching out to the customer directly in order to resolve this issue and get him a duplicate title.
Thank you,
Michael W[redacted]

Dear [redacted] Thank you for contacting AutoBidMaster with your concerns related to the 2011 Nissan Sentra (Lot # {[redacted]) that you purchased on 6/22/17. We are sorry to learn that you are not satisfied with your purchase through AutoBidMaster. We value your business, and hope that you will maintain...

your membership with us and continue to use our services. Unfortunately, in this instance, we are unable to honor your request for the fees to be waived depending on a member’s specific location. We are a small company with good intentions. However, the circumstances that you described do not justify waiving of the fees. AutoBidMaster is not like your local used car dealership. Rather, AutoBidMaster operates a membership-based online auto auction marketplace and acts as a broker to facilitate the purchase and sale of used and salvage vehicles through its website at autobidmaster.com. AutoBidMaster members are provided with access to the online auto auctions operated by Copart, the world's largest online auto auction company. To purchase a vehicle through AutoBidMaster's website, you must be a registered member of AutoBidMaster, which requires you to acknowledge and agree to the website Terms of Service (autobidmaster.com/pdf/tos.html) and the Buyer Terms and Conditions (autobidmaster.com/terms). Based on our records, you registered with AutoBidMaster on 6/22/17 at 3:16am from a computer with the IP address [redacted]. AutoBidMaster has very specific rules and polices relating to the timing and methods of payment and bidding. ·         All vehicles purchased using our Services are subject to certain auction fees charged by AutoBidMaster ("AutoBidMaster Fees") and by Copart ("Copart Fees") (collectively "Auction Fees"). ·         Payment for the purchase of any vehicle (including applicable Auction Fees) must be received by AutoBidMaster before 5:00 pm (Pacific Time) on the next business day after the date of sale. A "business day" is any weekday that is not a US federal holiday. The "date of sale" is the date on which your bid is accepted and you receive an invoice from us for your purchase. You will be charged Late Fees if you do not pay on time. (Note: International customers must pay by 5:00 pm (Pacific Time) on the second business day after the date of sale. ·         You agree that you cannot retract, delete, or cancel any bid for any reason. You agree that you are obligated to pay the amount of any bid (plus all applicable fees) that you submit or authorize (or is otherwise submitted or authorized through or under your Member Account) if your bid is accepted. This includes all bids placed during the Preliminary Bidding Period and the Live Auction and applies regardless of how or where your bid is placed.   Again, we are very sorry that you are not satisfied with your experience with AutoBidMaster. But, unfortunately, AutoBidMaster is not able to honor your request compensation. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further. Sincerely, Tabitha M[redacted] Customer Service & Sales Manager

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: 1- I would never take advantage of the discounted shipping benefit as touted in the email.  I live 30 minutes from a [redacted] location2- AutoCheck, as one of the "many benefits" when not available for any of the over 110,000 vehicles presently for sale....  It's funny that they even included it in the latest response.  I don't I need to go further; Revdex.com should be able to ascertain where the problem is. Sincerely,[redacted]

First of all, we are very sorry to hear that Ms. [redacted] is dissatisfied with her experience at AutoBidMaster. Though we strive to make the online auto-auction process simple and easy to navigate, it seems that the customer misunderstood a few of our key terms of service.

When the...

customer signed up for a Starter Membership on March 15th, she was required to read and agree to our Buyer Terms and Conditions, which clearly state that all membership fees are non-refundable. Both our website and these Terms and Conditions are also very explicit about the fact that a security deposit of at least $400 will be required in order to bid.

The invoice Ms. [redacted] paid via wire transfer did include an automatic upgrade to a Preferred Membership. Instead of calling our office to have this charge removed, she wired the $150 membership fee along with the rest of her payment, thus indicating her desire to proceed with the upgrade.

Regarding the $400 security deposit, the customer's request for a refund has been processed. However, credit card companies require some time to honor such requests to remove authorization holds, which is why Ms. [redacted] was advised that it might take up to 3 business days. We are sorry to hear that this processing delay has caused our customer inconvenience; unfortunately, however, it is entirely outside of our control.

AutoBidMaster values its customers and takes complaints like Ms. [redacted] very seriously. We have already refunded the customer's $400 security deposit, per her request. However, we must ultimately abide by our Buyer Terms and Conditions and will therefore be unable to refund the $150 Preferred Membership fee.

Thank you,
Michael W[redacted]

Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for contacting AutoBidMaster with your concerns related to the 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63, Lot # [redacted] that you purchased on 4/18/17. I am sorry to learn that you are not satisfied with your purchase through AutoBidMaster. We value your business, and hope that you will maintain...

your membership and continue to use our services. Unfortunately, in this instance, we are unable to honor your request for a refund. We are a small company with good intentions. However, the circumstances that you described do not justify a refund. Based on our records, you registered with AutoBidMaster on 03/11/17 at 5:10 pm from a computer with the IP address [redacted]. As I understand, you claim that AutoBidMaster somehow misrepresented the "Run & Drive Verification" related to your vehicle. However, as discussed below, this is simply not true. The "Run & Drive Verification" icon on the auction listing produces a dialogue box that provides: At the time your vehicle arrived at Copart's facility, Copart verified that your vehicle (i) started, (ii) could be put into gear, and (iii) was capable of moving forward under its own power. There is no guarantee, representation, or warranty that your vehicle is in roadworthy condition or can be driven lawfully upon the highways of any state. There is no guarantee, representation, or warranty that your vehicle will (i) start, (ii) drive, or (iii) move forward under its own power at the time your vehicle is picked up at Copart's facility. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect, and/or investigate your vehicle prior to bidding on it. Once your vehicle is removed from Coparts premises, the buyer accepts your vehicle "as is". Thus, AutoBidMaster made no representations or warranties regarding the ability of your vehicle to run and/or drive. In fact, to the contrary, AutoBidMaster made it clear that it made no representations or warranties regarding the ability of your vehicle to run and/or drive. While AutoBidMaster may provide certain information related to the vehicles listed for sale on its website, such information is not created, developed, or produced by AutoBidMaster. For example, the Run & Drive Verification is provided by Copart. As a result, AutoBidMaster has no control over the accuracy or completeness of the information. Moreover, the information is not researched, reviewed, verified, or confirmed in any way by AutoBidMaster. As a result, AutoBidMaster makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of the Run & Drive Verification. For these reasons, AutoBidMaster strongly encourages you to inspect your vehicle prior to purchase, and requires you to acknowledge and agree that you are purchasing your vehicle "as is" without any warranties of any kind. In fact, the specific sections from the Buyer Terms and Conditions and website Terms of Service directly address your claims. First, the Buyer Terms and Conditions provide (among other things): 2. SALE POLICIES . . . J. Risk of Loss. Buyer takes full responsibility and assumes all risk of loss for all vehicles purchased from the time auction accepts Buyer’s bid. . . . [AutoBidMaster] and Copart shall not be responsible for any claim of damage made after your vehicle has left Copart’s premises, regardless of whether Buyer, or any person on Buyer’s behalf such as Buyer’s agents, employees, or representatives, pick up your vehicle.Once a vehicle is removed from Copart’s premises it is accepted AS-IS, and under no circumstances will [AutoBidMaster] or Copart be liable for any claims of damage or loss of any kind or nature whatsoever. . . . 5. DISCLAIMERS A. Vehicle Condition and History Disclaimer. ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD "AS-IS WHERE-IS" All vehicles sold/bought through Company are sold/bought "AS-IS WHERE-IS", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR MERCHANTABILITY. . . . It is the sole responsibility of Buyer to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect, and/or investigate vehicles any and all Vehicle Information prior to buying your vehicle. Buyer agrees that vehicles are sold AS IS and are not represented as being in a road worthy condition, mechanically sound, or maintained at any guaranteed level of quality. The vehicles may not be fit for use as a means of transportation and may require substantial repairs at Buyer's expense. B. Registration Laws Disclaimer. Company does not guarantee that any vehicle bought can be legally registered in any state or country, and Buyer accepts all risks associated with variations in vehicle title and registration laws between states, provinces, and countries that may negatively impact the marketability of vehicles purchased through Company. Second, when you viewed and/or bid on your vehicle, the auction listing indicated at the top of the page, immediately under the lot number and vehicle description, that: THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS "AS IS - WHERE IS" - ALL BIDS ARE BINDING AND ALL SALES ARE FINAL Additionally, the link at the end of this statement that reads "What this means" opens a dialogue box that provides, among other things: All sales are final and the highest bidder has no right of rescission and no refund or exchange rights. Since this vehicle is being sold "AS IS - WHERE IS", it means that the purchaser is buying it "with all faults" and without any warranty or guarantee of any type, express or implied. Any information regarding this vehicle provided by the Seller or Copart is for convenience only. It is your sole responsibility to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect, and investigate a vehicle and any information regarding such vehicle prior to bidding on it. AutoBidMaster expressly disclaims the accuracy of your vehicle information on this page including damage details[.] The dialogue box also provides a link to the Buyer Terms and Conditions for further information. Third, on the Bill of Sale, which you signed, it further states: ALL SALES ARE FINAL ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE If your vehicle purchased is sold as used then purchaser acknowledges that it is sold strictly as is with all faults and defects after purchaser has systems thereof and without any warranty either express or implied of any nature whatsoever whether for merchantability or for fitness for any particular purpose or as to the condition of any part of any system. THIS VEHICLE SOLD "AS IS – WHERE IS" Similarly, on the second page of the Bill of State, under the Statement of Facts section, your client certified (or declared) under penalty of perjury that: I hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless [AutoBidMaster] and from any and all claims, including but not limited to the claims of any losses, liabilities, damages and expenses of any kind related to or arising from bodily injury, property damage or any other occurrence related to this purchase. Then, on the third page of the Bill of Sale, under the Salvage Acknowledgement Agreement, your client(s) further agreed: Vehicle is sold "AS IS" with all FAULTS, and with no claims or guarantees as to the condition, history, or roadworthiness of your vehicle expressed or implied. . . . I hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless [AutoBidMaster] from any and all claims, including but not limited to the claims of any losses, liabilities, damages and expenses of any kind related to or arising from bodily injury, property damage or any other occurrence related to this purchase. In other words, there are numerous conspicuous, clear, and unequivocal disclaimers at every stage of the process that provided you with more than adequate notice that you were solely responsible for inspecting your vehicle prior to purchase, and that you released AutoBidMaster of any liability related to inaccurate, untrue, or misleading descriptions or information, including the Run & Drive Verification. However, our records indicate that, for whatever reason, you failed or refused to inspect your vehicle prior to purchase. As a result, you assumed any and all risks associated with the condition of your vehicle and its ability to run and/or drive. Again, I am very sorry that you are not satisfied with your experience with AutoBidMaster. But, unfortunately, AutoBidMaster is not able to honor your request for a refund and/or compensation.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further. Sincerely, Tabitha M[redacted] Customer Service and Sales Manager

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because it is not truthful.  I have pasted three emails from autobidmaster below.  AutoBidMaster SupportTo[redacted]Aug 21 at 7:24 AMHello [redacted], The AutoCheck report option is temporarily unavailable. Regards, Lily K.AutoBidMaster Support TeamAutoBidMaster SupportTo[redacted] Aug 21 at 2:54 PM[redacted], I have just verified this information for you. It looks like we do not provide Autocheck reports any more. Regards, Lily K.AutoBidMaster Support TeamAutoBidMaster SupportTo[redacted] Aug 21 at 4:28 PM[redacted], Unfortunately the membership is not refundable. You can do more searches on places like Google to find out more information. Best regards, Olga M.This is still in the website but I cannot locate one vehicle that the AutoCheck offer is honored. "A VIN is the Vehicle Identification Number assigned by the manufacturer. Autocheck vehicle reports are available to the yearly members."One point is true in Autobidmasters response, I did attempt to purchase a vehicle today.  I had to purchase a report from another vendor to get any information about that vehicle.  I was a not immediately able to bid because my account had been made inactive after my complaints.  As I look online, there have been at least 46 complaints against Autobidmaster.  Sincerely,[redacted]

The Preferred Membership comes with many benefits, including exclusive discounts on shipping, a flexible bidding limit, and more. The free AutoCheck report is available only on select vehicles as stated on our website. We do recommend securing a vehicle history report prior to any vehicle purchase,...

salvage or otherwise. Because we are not affiliated with other vehicle history report providers, we try not to name specific companies. Instead, we suggest that our members search Google for a history report provider that best suits their needs. This suggestion is meant as a helpful recommendation, and we are saddened to learn that this member interpreted it negatively. Our membership fees are nonrefundable, and we make every effort to make this clear during the registration process. This member selected the Preferred Membership option and received benefits of this option, including the exclusive shipping rates. Further, this member is continuing to bid with the membership as I type this response. Even if we were able to refund the membership fee, the membership would become inactive and their most recent requests would not be fulfilled. It is our goal to help this member get the most out of their membership with us, and we welcome them to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Unfortunately, it seems that Mr. [redacted] has misunderstood our fee schedule. When he purchased his $150 preferred membership, he agreed to AutoBidMaster’s Terms and Conditions, which state that the buyer “must maintain the security deposit with Company at minimum of $400 USD at all times to keep the membership active.” Mr. [redacted] has not made a $400 deposit, meaning that he is currently unable to bid on any vehicles using our website’s services. Once Mr. [redacted] makes this deposit, he will be able to bid at auction.
AutoBidMaster regrets to hear that Mr. [redacted] feels our company has taken advantage him. We’ve made every effort to explain the situation to the customer and reach an amicable resolution. However, we must abide by the Terms and Conditions that Mr. [redacted] agreed to when purchasing his membership and will therefore be unable to issue him a refund.
Thank you,Michael W[redacted]AutoBidMaster
