Everything these other consumers (aka "victims") have said about Avan Skin Labs is 100% correct. This SHARK TANK SCAM is real... Their products are mediocre but their relentless monthly billing is a real pain-in-the-as... If the "Sharks" don't shut this thing down soon and apologize to their loyal viewers -- everything else they recommend is circumspect... But hey, maybe that's why they call themselves "sharks." Personally, I will never watch their show again or consider their product endorsements worth buying. BEWARE!

Chalk this one up as gullible. I as well as so may others received the first shipment and was then later charged the full amount on my credit card. I then was charged for a second month without receiving product.I have called them to cancel my subscription immediately and was told that I would have to wait until I received the second order and return it in order for the charges to be removed. I am still waiting for the conformation of cancelation email and the product. I will be contacting my credit card company.

Did not work at all, gave me acne. Can't use it or the other bottle they sent,without permission . Will send it back immediately.

This company advertised one thing and then automatically signed you up for ongoing orders and did not refund fully.

Dear Sirs
I am writing to express my total dissatisfaction with your online advertising and refund policy for AvanDerm. I feel I have been cheated out of money and you are not fair in refunding.

On 11-7-17 you billed me for $5.79 and $4.87 for samples.

Then you charged my credit card on 11/24 for $85.20 and $87.50. This should be fully refunded as I called and cancelled before it even arrived.

Once it arrived, I immediately shipped it back to the address Ben gave me and he assured me they would void the restocking fee. That was 1/2/18. He credited me half which was two credits of $45 each for $90 total on this same day.

On 12/24/17 you billed me again for $85.20 and $87.50. I called again complaining that I had cancelled. I have received a check for $120 on 1/22/18.

I started receiving this product in October 2017 and have been trying to stop it ever since. I have spent a fortune returning these boxes. I opened a lot of them trying to get a phone number and there isn't even a real invoice in the box. I write all over the boxes to stop sending them and they continue. I got another just 2 days ago. they debit my bank account over $98 dollars each time. I don't want this product or anything to do with these crooked people!!

I have never been charged so low a fee for these products. $98.00 + dollars each time is what has been charged to my bank account including these last 2 charges. I would have called if you had a real phone number available in the boxes. There was nothing. I had to guess after spending hours on the internet. I NEVER ordered all these deliveries, NEVER !! I don't appreciate the inference it was MY fault. You are a bunch of crooks !! I want repayment of every cent from September 2017 on. You mailed a new box every 18-20 days. It cost me over $25.00 to return the ones I opened in hopes to stop this insanity. I'd sue you if I could afford to. You depleted my account when I didn't even know it was happening. CROOKS that is what you are !!!

I too took advantage of the free product and only had to pay s&h; I received another package in the mail yesterday and never ordered anything else. I happened to look at my credit card statement today and found out that they have charged my account 3 times since I received my free samples in January, to the tune of $97.48. I called them to cancel and told them to remove the charges from my credit card and they informed me that I signed up for a 14 day trial and because I didn't call and cancel in the 14 days that they can send me and charge me whatever they want. This is a horrific company!

I signed up for their free offer based on the Shark Tank endorsement and then figured out it was a scam after. I have been out of the country and returned to find 2 months of approx $170 each billed to my credit card. I read all the fine print on this product and did not sign up for any additional products, I read the package insert with the trial product which also was minimal and gave no indication this was anything but a free trial. I have called my credit card company to block this company and I called the company and argued with customer service for 45 minutes and they finally told me they are issuing a credit. I am mailing back the unopened box they sent and they gave me an RMA number to put on the box. We'll see if this credit happens. I always check out businesses on line and failed by not checking this scam out. Do not get involved with this company.

I thought I was signing up for a free sample. They have charged my credit card for over $80 - Sample not FREE.
I signed up for a Free sample but my credit card was charged over $80 and they have now sent another box of their product. When I called they said I had enrolled in a monthly order scheme. I asked to speak to a manager but the person on the line kept saying they couldn't hear me but they said the manager was busy. They do not have a CONTACT e-mail on their website.

I want my credit card reimbursed for the charges.

They are still not addressing the original charges for what they were advertising as a FREE SAMPLE.
They charged me for the products. I want to be reimbursed for all funds they have charged.

I would like to file a complaint against this company for false misrepresentation of their products. The products were "free" and you only paid shipping and handling of $ 4.87 and $5.79 for the two items. I was then charged on the credit card $87.50 and $85.20 for these two items which were "free" then another shipment arrived and my card was charged again $87.50 and $85.20. No notice, no email, no phone call, if I was satisfied with products or if I would like to continue receiving products. No contact what so ever. I called the customer service and received no satisfaction on resolving this issue. Person read from a script about restocking fee, etc. I returned all four products unopened today and disputed the charges on my credit card.

Advise my next step on this complaint so that other people will not fall victim to this scam.

I called on the phone to order not website. Person I spoke with was very hard to understand. English was not understandable. I would not have even ordered the products had I known all of this cancelling deadline etc. No papers were in the first shipment items. received or I would have called to cancel and return items. I tried to call the above number Jesse and a voice mail came on and I left message. When I spoke to company before contacting credit card company they said they would not refund my full amt. They were charging me restocking fee, etc.

I contacted these people two times via email, and sent a letter. I don't want their product they keep hitting my bankcard.I now have five jars.
I can't afford to send them back. They won't stop sending me these face creams even tho I asked them to stop. Please make them stop charging me. They can send me a pre paid envelope and I will send their product back to them and I want my money back! I had 3 delivered today! I have six of the jars.It isn't great like advertised. What do I have to do to stop the continuing delivery and charges?

I want someway to return the unopened boxes without cost to me. I want to be reimbursed for the several boxes that I received after I told them I wanted to cancel. I didn't realize that I had recurring charges. I couldn't use all the product they sent in a year. Any recourse for returning my money?

Just like many of the already existing complaints on your website, this company advertises to make the customer feel they are getting a sample.
In actuality, you receive a $87.50 charge to your credit card - not just the shipping charge as noted Then the company begins sending a new 1 ounce sample size product every month and charges your credit card $87.50 for this one ounce of watery cold cream!

Along with many others, I fell for the free trial offer, not realizing that in a few weeks I would be charged $100 for a 4 oz. jar of thin cream that doesn't work, I then called AvanSkinLabs to cancel a subscription for this expensive nothingness, and they complied, sending me an e-mail to confirm. But then they turned around and gave my card information to other factions of this outfit to acquire more charges for something I never ordered I contacted this new outfit MakeupFX, and requested a cancellation and my money back. They promised a confirmation email in 24 hours, which didn't come, so I contacted the card company, lodged a fraud complaint, and got a new card in case my old number was floating around out there. I still haven't gotten an e-mail cancelling,and it's been 20 days, even though I've called them 3 times, and get the same run-around.

Charged my credit card $87.50 without my authorization. Refused to give me their address when I called and refused to give me a full refund.
This cream was advertised as a "free sample" with a $5.79 shipping cost. There was no mention that your credit card will be charged a monthly fee of $87.50 for their product. When I called customer service to get a refund, they said that I had agreed to the monthly subscription terms and conditions which is not true. That's not how the product was advertised. They would charge me a restocking fee if I returned the free sample which they actually charged me $87.50 for. This company is a complete scam and is fraudulently charging customers. My credit card company is disputing the charge and blocking them as a merchant.

I would like a full refund and I would like the police to look into this company for theft and shut them down. It's a complete scam.

I ordered a face and eye cream for the cost of shipping and handling. Two months later I was charged $85.00 and another $87.00 to my account. I honestly had no idea what it was, so I canceled my card assuming it had been compromised. A week later I received a box in the mail from Avan Skin Labs and that was the company that had charged my account. I never read anywhere on the site that this would be recurring. I will send the products back but I can find nothing on their site to cancel this.

I accept this agreement because Avon Skin Labs has agreed to close my account with them and cease shipping items I did not sign up to receive.

Sales scam.
They caught me because they represented the company was owned by Joanna Gaines from the TV program "Fixer Upper". I like Joanna's products and purchased for this reason. They lied about that, they have no affiliation with Mrs. Gaines. This company offers the products at a deep discount to purchase their new eye serum and anti face cream. They do not say anything about this being a subscription product, or that the initial is only for shipping! I intentionally paid their advertised price of $16.00 and was charged over $300.00!!!. They billed me an additional $160 for the products and then sent me two more products, which they also charged $160.000 for. When I called them I was advised that I could not get a refund for the first products - which I didn't know I was being charged for - and if I wanted to return the new products I would have to pay shipping, return and re stocking fee's that were $141.00 so they recommended I keep the product. This is CRAZY and total fraud. I intentionally spent $16.00 and was charged over $300.00.

Avan Skin Labs state that their terms and conditions are if you buy their "free" offer and pay the S&H they can send and charge you nearly $180 for an unrequested second shipment. no notice, no statement, it will just appear on your charge. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING - free or otherwise - from this scam of a company...no one is agreeing to an ongoing "order for the 18 days trial" - we are ordering a free sample - very sneaky....

I ordered a free trial of eye serum and wrinkle cream only paying shipping and now I'm getting recurring charges on my card! This was not clear at all
Ordered free trial of eye serum and anti-wrinkle cream on 12/14/2017 with the promotion saying just pay shipping $5.79 for one and $4.87 for the other. After I received the free trial sample of the eye serum and wrinkle-cream. I called and cancelled on the phone as I would not want to continue.

Then on 1/1/2018 I was charged the full price $85.20 and $87.50 for the free sample. Apparently it is NOT free if they are charging.

Than again on 2/1/2018 I was charged the $85.20 and $87.50 again. I called the company and they said that it will ship and I will receive product on 2/8/2018 and they can't cancel the shipment but that I could refuse shipment and they will refund me partially and just charge me a $15 and $17 restocking fee.

I would like FULL reimbursement of these charges: 2/1/2018 - $87.50 - did not sign up for this 2/1/2018 - $85.20 - did not sign up for this 1/1/2018 - $87.50 (This was supposed to be a free trial) 1/1/2018 - $85.20 (This was supposed to be a free trial) I will only pay the charges I already paid for the shipping for the free trial that I ordered which is $5.79 & $4.87.

2/21/2018 Company emailed me that they are refunding me on the last installment that I shipped back, but are charging me restocking fees still, and also I had to pay postage on return of $4.95. Still I am getting charged for the initial shipment which was supposed to be free!

I recently took advantage of an offer for the skin and eye cream. Paid the 5 or so dollars per item. I got the items and the items looked shady. Like someone repackaged crap and tried to make it legit. Don't even ask me why I decided to try the creams. They made me break out. To top it off my credit card that I used to pay for the order recently had fraudulent charges (low and behold) and definitely not a convenience in TAMPA FLORIDA where my order was shipped from. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. I had to cancel my card, had all these to charges and all companies that I have legit business with are going to get their payments late, dealing with late charges. And can't really rectify anything until I get these cleared and I get a new card. This company is a joke.

This scam company falsely advertises that they are affiliated with Joel and Victoria Olsteen. They are not. They offer a free trial, all you have to do is just pay shipping and handling. After you receive the product you will notice a charge to your credit card for either $87.50 or $85.20. I received 2 of each for a total of $345.40. The charges will show up as ADW-Solutions.net for $87.50 and Advancedeyeserum.net for $85.20. I immediately called once I noticed the charges and disputed them with my credit card and contacted Avan Skin Labs to find out why they charged me. I was told that I had automatically enrolled in their subscription and that I would be receiving another shipment in the mail. I explained that no where in the wording of their ad did it ever describe anything like that. Otherwise I would never have agreed to even taking the free sample. I told them that I wanted my money back in full. She said that they could not do that, but would work with me if I called my credit card company and had them on a three way call. Upon further investigation, I discovered that this is another part of their scam. They will force you to agree to pay a portion of the money that they have already stolen from you or force you to pay for the whole thing, take it or leave it. I refuse to be strong armed by a company whose owners and managers should be in jail for wire fraud, extortion and theft. I am currently working with my credit card company to have these charges reversed. My credit card company told me that this company and others like them are the bulk of the fraud complaints that they receive. My credit card company said that this company would most likely try and fight my claim and to be ready for a battle. Believe me, I will not be taken advantage of by this company. I am sick and tired of the way this world has turned. Nothing but scheming, snakes and degenerates trying to steal honest and decent peoples money from them. I have a great idea for this company and others like them, how about selling your product in an honest fashion and if people like it they will order more? If I am not refunded 100% of the monies that were stolen from me, $345.40, I am going to spend every free minute I have writing reviews and contacting my government officials until something is done about them. The company never contacted me. I contacted them again and was told that they would not refund my money to me in total. They said they would refund all but $47.20. I believe that this company should be put out of business due to their fraudulent business practices. I am still not satisfied that I was ripped off and told by them that I would only receive a partial credit.
