I am rejecting this response because: Not true - I did not send any rude emailsI stated the facts of what happenedYou are the one not telling the truth hereDo not call me dishonest - as that would reflect you and your Backwater Reptiles LLC businessScamming young kids with your online pet businessI followed the Backwater Reptiles LLC instructions of your delivery to the letterI went to the Fed Ex office as soon as the package was available to pick upThe creature was dead and smelled like it was shipped as a dead chameleonIt had been dead for a long timeMy year old son was devastated!!!! The package was sealed outside and inside a sealed styrofoam container providing no air for the creature insideThe outside of the package was NOT labeled as a live animal inside?! Is it legal to ship live animals in a sealed air tight container and not label the package stating that there is a live animal inside? There were no air holes for the creature to breathSo all of that according to you is my responsibility and I must pay you - because you demand itI have already paid $to Backwater Reptiles LLC for the delivery of a dead chameleonI having nothing to show for my $I have paid you and received nothing in returnNow I receive harassment for $on top of what you received - that is called pure greed and you [redacted] are dishonest!!! I got my Russian tortoise from backwater and I couldn't be more happier! He came healthy and active He has a great appetite and loves exploring his enclosure

I ordered a new snake from this company and when my initial choice was out of stock I was quickly informed and was able to make another selection without delaying the delivery The customer service was excellent

Just recieved my western hog nose snake this morningShe appears alert, healthy and activeOrder was shipped promptly and arrived on time before AMI am concerned this snake is not a female like I requested and I got no response from them after emailing but they could just be busy or short staffed right nowAll in all they did fine and a trouble free experienceIf this snake turns out to be a female like I requested I will order my male from them soon without worries

I odered my sulcata and it came healthy and seemed to be very active but a little scared haha, but she's very gorgeous and very healthy and I would rate 10/and the service was amazing super nice group of people at backwater reptiles, earned themselves a life long customer and I'll send my buddies your way for reptile needs thanks for my sulcata!

Our waxworm supplier does not provide tracking numbers, which is common for very small feeder orders shipped via USPS in this industryWe have never, in all our years operating, had a customer file a credit card dispute over not receiving a tracking number, much less on a $order, and after repeated confirmations from us that it did indeed ship The customer received her worms, which she said were half deadNo picture was ever produced, despite our repeated requests (and our policy)She has been very unpleasant to deal with from the startWe can offer her a 50% refund for half the worms being DOA, but in her own words, she received half of the worms in fine condition, so we of course are not offering a full refund Backwater Reptiles, LLC
