We leased a walk in cooler from them in august I mailed them a check for this was the first month rent on the lease and a signed copy of the lease that stated the monthly payment was a month on sept the *** *** email me and said that the payment got increase to a month and the only way they would ship the cooler was if I signed a new contract for that price*** said they had made a mistake in the price but it took them and a 1/week to notice iti refused to sign a new lease and ask for my money to be refundedThey refuse to refund my moneyThey offer to send me of my money today that all there willing to refundTHIS is not right we have a signed contract and they don't want to honor itI want a full refund of my moneyAnd to let everyone know this company is a scam!!!!!!

The company has done nothing to resolve the issue or made any attempt to rectify this situation. Balboa Capital has overcharged us by almost $35,by increasing the interest rate from 4.7% to 10.7% and apparently think that is ok. We did not agree to that

We got an equipment loan with Balboa and made payments to them for a short period and then they sold our loan to *** *** *** ***We continued making payments to *** *** until out last payment according to our booksOnly in recent months have we learned from *** *** that Balboa did not send them all our payments and instead they took two payments on the loan that they did not give us credit for nor did they forward this amount onto *** *** after the loan was bought outThey simple kept two payments totaling an amount of $76,which *** *** *** *** is expecting us to pay againAs a certified Small Business in the state of *** this is a substantial amount of money to spend TWICEBalboa should forward this payment onto *** *** *** *** rather than keep this and apply it to NOTHINGWe receive no credit for this payment and are now being threatened with collection from *** *** *** ***I have copies of all che

We have reached out and tried everything possible to accommodate the customer and resolve the issue, but were not able to reach a resolution that is satisfactory for both parties

Very deceptive lending practices!! We were quoted a 6% lease on the equipment and decided to go with Balboa instead of our bankWe are now leasing our equipment from Balboa and because of the sketchy contract we will be paying 34% interest on this loan/lease! We were told we could pay this off early with no penaltiesDo yourself a favor....TAKE THE CONTRACT TO A LAWYER!!! Very, very fine print and you will need a law degree to figure out exactly what you are signing!!

We had an issue with this business but they took care of us and delivered great customer service We are very please with the outcome

We contracted this company for equipment loan who was recommended by *** *** where we were purchasing $30,worth of software for upgrades Received contract, asked several questions on rates and terms of the contract that were not clear in the contract Received email explanation from company that seemed to satisfy my query We specifically were concerned with prepayment (costs) penalties in case we wanted to payoff the loan sooner than the month term Was told there is no penalties Now months into loan, we requested payoff and they now have $in interest charges This appears to be a prepayment penalty, but they say they are guaranteed this amount regardless of when we pay the loan off This appears to me as games these lenders play with contract language that take advantage of borrowers We will not pay this loan off and will chalk this up to another lesson in borrowing I hoped *** * would require these lenders to be more straight forward with th

We never chose to do business with Balboa A local business sold their leases to Balboa - much to our horror They need to have a negative star rating
Balboa demands access to your bank account to draft payments If you don't want to do that (we do not trust them) they hold your check for posting until the day after it is due so they THINK they can collect a late fee
They are intrusive and rude I agree that they prey on small business owners in order to make every cent they can possibly get out of you Watch out for the tiny print in their lengthy, "iffy" claimers and disclaimers We have been in business years We will not be bullied by this joint DON'T USE BALBOA CAPITAL - YOU WILL REGRET IT

Do not use this leasing company run as fast as you can
they are horrible doing business with and they cant tell the truth
