Review: I ordered their product online. It was just $4.95 for shipping with free product. A card came with the product stating on the back that they will charge my visa card 87.63 monthly unless I cancel. Called to cancel product and now they want me to return the used portion or I have to pay $47.95 (close to).. Very misleading from this company. I have send back and pay for shipping. Needs to be investigated for misrepresentation.Desired Settlement: They need to be stopped for this type of services

At Bella Labs every customer is given the right to try their first 30 day supply without charge for the first 14 days. After the 14 day trial period, if the customer is unsatisfied with their product, they are to return the remainder postmarked for return within their 14 day trial period and also contact customer service to notify a request for cancellation. If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after the 14 days, they are automatically billed for their product on the 15th day and then automatically shipped and billed a product every 30 days thereafter. The customer has the ability to cancel at anytime by calling customer service or emailing [redacted]. If a customer needs to contact customer service, the phone number is listed on bellalabs.com, the product, the pamphlet, and the package the product is shipped in. The terms are disclosed clearly on bellalabs.com where the customer would have ordered their product. The customer has to also click "I agree to the terms and conditions" twice before the order is processed. If the customer does not "agree" to the terms, the order will not process. The terms and conditions are disclosed directly on the ordering website not only on the bottom of the first page, but also highlighted in a large white box on the second page where the customer inputs their card information as well as sent out with the product.

Review: This company offered a free trial version of their product if you pay $4.95 which I did on 4/19/2013. I received the product and then my account was billed $87.63 on 5/5/2013. I called the company to see why I was billed this amount and they said I had agreed to it in the terms and conditions when I ordered the free trial version. They wouldn't refund my money. I cancelled any further orders. This is deceptive advertising. There is nothing free. They should refund my money.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $87.63.

Review: On March 3rd I got an offer in my email for a free bottle of lotion from Bella Labs stating "Only pay s&h" for $4.95. I decided I would give it a try. I received the item, tried it a couple times, and didn't like the way it made my skin feel. I got to work on 3/17/14 and called Bella Labs to cancel. Due to high call volume, I left a message informing them that I didn't care for the product and wanted to cancel. I went online to my bank account on March 24th and was beyond upset when I saw a charge for $87.63 from Bella Labs. I immediately called them to find out why I was charged. I told the customer service agent that I left a message to cancel and hadn't heard back so I assumed that was all I needed to do. There was nothing anywhere stating anything about returning the product. He asked what number I called from and I gave him our main line here at the office. He said there was no record of my call. I then explained that I called from work and there are several outgoing numbers that it could've showed up as. There's no way for me to know what number showed up. He said there was nothing he could do about it, and was extremely rude and unprofessional. I told him I would return the product. He said it was too late, they would not refund my money, & there was nothing I could do about it. I did my part by calling to cancel and they still accessed my bank account and took my money. Not only did I get charged for a product that's ad was misleading to begin with, but I also incurred Non sufficient fund fees because the money they took out caused my student loan payment to bounce. I have never been treated so rudely and have never been brushed off the way I was by Bella Labs.Desired Settlement: I would be more than happy to return the product. I want a full refund issued back to me. This lotion is still costing me the $4.95 s&h + $27.50 in NS Fees due to them not holding up to their end of the offer.

Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted trial period, the consumer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 3/21/14 as explained in the terms and conditions for which they agreed to. The consumer contacted our company on 3/24/14 with a request for cancellation. The account was canceled immediately as instructed and they were sent a confirmation email confirming the cancellation. We have refunded the $87.63 charge for Mrs. [redacted] as we value customer satisfaction. The refund will take three to seven business days to credit back.

Review: I agreed to pay for what was supposed to be a month supply of Bellalabs skin creme....paying only the postage to my home. I received the skin creme today and looked at the business card insert, which came with the the skin creme. Much to my surprise, it stated that after trying the creme for 30 days (which is misleading because that included the shipping time also) I agreed to pay $87.63 for each monthly shipment thereafter. The payments were to be billed to my debit/credit card. I immediately called the company and spoke to a not very helpful representative. She explained the product would have to be returned to the company, and received, within 14 days of my original order. To accomplish this goal, I had to repackage the product, drive into our post office (we live in a rural area...making this a 20 mile round trip) pay for the postage back to Bellalabs and pay for tracking of the package. The representative was not helpful or friendly. Had I not read the insert....written in very small type, I would have been stuck with a small jar of facial creme and a bill for over $90.00 each and every month. I am almost 67 years old, live on Social Security and can ill afford to spend that kind of money on face creme....I would rather have wrinkles. In the same add was a companion product, La Creme, which was also offered in the "Free Trial".....so I ordered both. Had I not read the insert, would have been liable for $175.35 each month for continued deliveries.Desired Settlement: I am not requesting anything for myself....I have learned my lesson. I do think the company should outline in their ad what the true cost will be to the consumer, so they can make an informed decision based on cost. This ad was placed on a social media site....with no information except the fact the product was "FREE" to try for 14 days (making no mention of the fact that shipping time and return time were included in the 14 days).

Review: I paid shipping and handling for Lacreme and BellaLabs face products. I kept calling the company to cancel all future shipping of the products, and the telephone number 1-877-767-9942 is not a working number, yet $87.63 was deducted from my checking accountDesired Settlement: I want a refund of my money that was taken from my account. The products are useless!!

Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted time, the customer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 02/28/15 as explained in the terms and conditions which they agreed to. The consumer contacted BellaLabs on 03/01/15 with a request for cancellation. The account was cancelled immediately as instructed and the customer was sent a cancellation confirmation via email. We attempted to look up call records by the phone number provided by the consumer: [redacted] and [redacted]. We were unable to locate any calls. We operate seven days a week, and have not had any issues receiving phone calls. We have refunded the remainder of the amount $87.63, due to this complaint, however we stand by our policies and we would like to reiterate that our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times to process their order. We state the terms and conditions clearly, and send a synopsis card with our contact information, with each order. Review: I was on [redacted] in December 2014 and saw a quick and short advertisement from Bella labs selling an intro offer for beauty cream. It cost 4.95 plus shipping so I signed up for it. Nowhere on the information site did it talk about a refund or return policy or a monthly shipment. I began receiving monthly shipments. I have since returned all of the shipments in their original packaging unopened. I did not even open the mailing packages. I was not going to pay for shipping since I never ordered all of this beauty cream. I contacted bank of America and stopped payment to Bella labs. They will not refund my money unless I have proof of payment for return shipping. I returned the creams in the original mailing packages and marked them "return to sender"Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of Feb, march and April shipments since I didn't order them and in good faith returned them back to the company

At no time during the months of November through March did the customer contact us to cancel. The consumer contacted BellaLabs on 4/5/15 with a request for cancellation and stated that they returned two products back to us. We did inform the customer at that time that we would refund those two products once we received them, as there was no authorization prior to that for the customer to return products. The account was cancelled immediately as instructed and the customer was sent a cancellation confirmation via email. Unfortunately, it seems the items were not refunded as the customer was informed they would be. We will be contacting the customer to verify an address to mail a check to in the amount of $175.26 for the two products they returned.

Review: On 2/17/14 I got on website which was advertised w/Woodforest National Bank offering a free product for completing a survey.Product was for face cream. 3/4/14 contacted Bellalabs customer service (###-###-####)to cancel subscription otherwise my debit card would be charge $87.63 for the bottle I received. As advertised I had 14 days to cancel,I did not receive bottle until 2/20/14. Per Cust. Serv. 14 days started on 2/17/14 the date product is ordered. Advertising is misleading. Customers don't have 14 days but rather 11. Per Cust. Serv. product shipped day after you order.Advised I would get refund on the charge but was told on 3/4/2014 I must return the bottle to the address on the back of the bottle as I did not cancel by 3/3/14 which was 11 days not 14. Included with the bottle was a card stating the following:"Bellalabs Trial - terms and conditions - Thank for purchasing Bellalabs. Your credit card has been charged $4.95 for shipping and handling for a 1 month supply of Bellalabs. You will have 14 days from your original order date to decide if Bellalabs is right for you. If you are enjoying Bellalabs do nothing and at the end of your 14 day trial period you will be charged the low rate of only $87.63 for the bottle you received. Approximately 45 days from your original purchase and every 30 days thereafter you will be sent another 1 month supply of Bellalabs and your credit card on file will be billed for $87.63. You may cancel your membership at any time by simply contacting customer service. Please note, most customers see most noticeable results by using Bellalabs consistently for 3 months."You will note that the informational card included with the bottle does not state that you must return the bottle at your own expense. This is just another way of making it difficult for customers to cancel their membership or punish them. How can they state you have a 14 day trial when you don't.Desired Settlement: Do not want to incur expense to return bottle. If they want trial bottle back send prepaid envelope. As only had 11 days to try was not late cancelling as customer service tried to state. How can advertising state 14 days free trial when that is a lie.[redacted], customer agent, very rude, unprofessional.

At BellaLabs, every customer is given the right to try their first 30 day supply without charge for the first 14 days. The terms and conditions on the website state that the 14 day trial period starts on the original order date, and that if you need an extension on your trial due to slow or delayed delivery you may call customer service and request one. After the 14 day trial period if the customer is unsatisfied with their product, they are to return the remainder postmarked for return within their 14 day trial period and also contact customer service to notify a request for cancellation. This is also stated in the terms and conditions under the REFUNDS AND RETURNS section on our website. If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after the 14 days, they are automatically billed for their product on the 15th day and then automatically shipped and billed a product every 30 days thereafter. I bought a totally different product and was given the opportunity to try this face cream FOR FREE. I mistakenly said sure. Of course a month later I got another bottle of their HORRIBLE smelling face cream in the mail. I called and tried to return it and they said I could not. Obviously they do not have enough confidence in their product (and rightfully so...it's awful) to sell it on its merit. They need to trick consumers into buying it. Do not be taken in!!!!!

Review: I ordered a free sample of BellaLabs instant wrinkle reducer and paid the $4.95 shipping. When I received the order it came with a card stating that it was 14 day trial and if I didn't call and cancel within the 14 day trial period I would be charged $87.63. I called the company and cancelled and also told them their advertising is very misleading. They denied this and stated that they were accredited with Revdex.com. They said they would cancel my order but I needed to send the "free sample" back.

I later went back and looked at their website. It is very misleading with the 14 day trial only in small print at the bottom.Desired Settlement: For Bellalabs to change their misleading advertisement. To change the wording on their website from free sample to 14 day trial. I also don't feel I should have to send back a free sample that I paid shipping on. I will send it back if they send a postage paid envelope and refund my $4.95.

Review: I wanted to return an item which, I believe, is still within the trial period but when I called today, Feb. 2, 2015, the representative told me that the trial period ended on Jan. 31, 2015. Trial period was for 14 days. I ordered the product on Jan 17. Delivery date from their location was Jan. 19, 2015. I received the product days after that. I didn't open the box/product anyway because of so many chemicals in it. I just feel that consumer truly believe that 14 days trial should start on day of receiving the product. Whatever it is in the fine print of terms and condition, don't matter to me.Desired Settlement: For me to be able to return the unopened product. Trial period should be from day of receiving not from date of order, even if they have to shorten the trial period to 7 days.

Review: I clicked on an ad on Yahoo advertising a pair of products, Bella Labs Facial Cream, and La Creme face cream, that were very prominently being offered for shipping and handling of 4.95, for which my account was debited on 1/20/15. Today, 1/31/15, I discovered a pending debit for $87.63 for both items. Bella Labs told me that the order was older than 14 days (it's not, my account was not debited until 1/20/15) and that they would only refund 25%. Eventually, they agreed to refund 50%, and told me to keep the product. That transaction was conducted by [redacted] at 1-877-767-9942 Ext. [redacted]. The order identification number is [redacted]. The transaction identification number is [redacted]. His supervisor is [redacted], identification #9037.

On the other hand, La Creme at first also offered only a partial refund, but when I explained to them that I would not have made the purchase if the $87.63 price had been as prominently displayed as the $4.95 price, and that I did not make the purchase from the website itself, but from a link in the advertisement, they offered to refund the entire amount. I hadn't used or opened either product. They asked that I return the product. I told both companies that there was no way for me to trace my way back to the original ad that was displayed on Yahoo, and only remembered that it had an endorsement from Dr. Oz. My transaction number for the La Creme was #[redacted] and I was told I would also receive an email with the details of the refund.

I will contact my bank on Monday and tell them that I am not authorizing either transaction. That may or may not be successful. I am hoping to be refunded the entire amount from Bella Labs. I believed that I was getting samples being offered for shipping and handling only. I feel that the ads were very intentionally misleading and should have prominently displayed the full price of $87.63 per product, not just the shipping and handling price of only $4.95. The actual amount was $168.21.Desired Settlement: I would like to my checking account to be credited back the entire amount of $87.63, not a 50% refund. I agree to pay the original amount of $4.95 shipping and handling.

Review: Dear Sir or Madam,

I hereby cancel this unwanted subscription for your skin creme. Your advertising was extremely deceptive and led me to believe I was getting a sample bottle for 4.95 not signing up for a bottle which would cost me $87.63 MONTHLY. I attempted to call your "customer service line" multiple times without response. My shipment was received on 8/13/15. I am cancelling within your ridiculously short cancellation period and have shipped you back your product which I strongly doubt is of any value. I have reported your deceptive business practices to the Revdex.com and the California Attorney General's office. I better not see a bill from your company on my account.

The internet ad looked like you could get a trial bottle for $4.95 for shipping and handling. When the bottle arrived, the terms and conditions stated" Thank you for purchasing BellaLabs. Your credit cared will be charged $4.95 for shipping &handling for a 1 Month Supply of Bellalabs. You agree to pay $87.63 for the first bottle of Bellalabs unless you cancel the order within 9 days of receipt and return the bottle postmarked within 10 days of receipt. If you do not return the bottle to us postmarked within 10 days of receipt, the card you provided will be charged $87.63 for the bottle you received. Until such time as you cancel, approximately 45 days from your original purchase and every 30 days thereafter you will be sent another bottle of BellaLabs and your credit card or debit card on file will be billed for $87.63. You understand that you may cancel at any time by calling 1-877-767-9942 or by emailing [email protected]. ...

I tried repeatedly and could never get through at the phone number they gave. Hence the email I sent.

Interestingly, when I went to file this complaint, the address they listed PO BOX 99852 SanDiego CA 92169 says this zip code doesn't exist so I wonder where my return is going to end up. I mailed it certified return receipt.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I paid $4.95 each to Bellalabs and to [redacted] 8895 Towne Centre Drive #105-553 San Diego CA 92122 which had the EXACT same terms and conditions and is clearly in cahoots. I paid $18.98 to have these two bottles returned certified return receipt requested and wasted my time on this complaint. I would at least my $28.88 dollars back, half from each company or as one check and they should be required to make their offer MUCH clearer in their advertising.

The consumer contacted BellaLabs on 8/23/2015 with a request for cancellation. The account was cancelled immediately as instructed and the customer was sent a cancellation confirmation via email. We state the terms and conditions clearly, and send a synopsis card with our contact information, with each order. Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

It looks like I successfully cancelled the subscriptions but Bella labs and [redacted] should be required to clarify their deceptive advertising. They should be required to state within the body of their advertisement that $87.94 is due on receipt of each of the creams, They should also not give a phone number for cancellation which never answers. Lastly, 10 days is too short a time to find the fine print and return the product. 30 days would be more reasonable but I don't know that that can be required.

Regards,

I happened to be out of town and called when I returned to a bill. I called and spent 15 minutes with each companies Bella labs and [redacted]. Which are both in same office and use same music, phone system etc. I received 1/2 credit from one cream because I complained extensively. the other company offered nothing! Review: This co uses bait & switch tactics. They advertise purchase of a sample wrinkle reduction cream for $4.95 and when the sample is received, there's "terms and conditions" stating you'll be automatically charged $87.63/month unless you cancel. False product claims have been made and canceling is near to impossible as I understand from others: http://www.[redacted].Desired Settlement: Refund/credit and prevention of continuance of monthly changes.

Review: This company is refusing to accept a return of its product. I received the product in the mail because I did not cancel the subscription in time. When I called for instructions to return the unopened product, I was told that returns are not accepted. Although the terms of the subscription (automatic shipping and charging) are disclosed in the company's advertisements, this alleged policy about returns is not disclosed. Moreover, on the company's web site a "returns address" is listed, which would lead one to believe that returns are accepted. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was not given that opportunity. Instead, the initial representative offered a 25% refund and said that nothing more could be done. This is not an acceptable resolution.Desired Settlement: I want to return the product for a full refund (or the remaining 75%). I have no problem paying for the return shipping.

Review: Do not fall for it!! I am filing a complaint with the Revdex.com, my bank, and [redacted] for fraudulent misrepresentation - including the fake "[redacted]" endorsements following the ad. I urge others to do the same. This advertisement (that also features a [redacted] endorsement), complete with the prominently displayed price of "only $4.95 for shipping and handling" appears with other beauty offers as well, besides Bella Labs & [redacted] on [redacted]. The link I supplied [redacted] with those ads has been replaced with another feature. Hoping this means that [redacted] is worried about participating in this companies fraud-for-profit racket.Desired Settlement: I never agreed to pay an additional $174.00 for the products. I spoke to my bank and they said there are 2 pending charges totaling $174.00. I would like to be reimbursed. I sent both Bella and [redacted] cancellation notifications by email and phone.
