Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 9, 2014/08/11) */ Customer booked a move with us on 07/Our company scheduled her for a pick on 07/but when we called to confirm the schedule with her she said she had cancelled the move and did a chargeback for her booking deposit

This was one of the worst customer services I have ever received in my entire life Here is a formal complaint letter I filed with the companyThey did give a small amount of money back in attempt to save grace which would not have even covered professionally cleaning for the mess they created !!!! To whom it may concern, I have only had headaches from this particular moveThe pick up went okay, however I was made promises that I would not have to leave work for the pick up and ended up missing hours of work on Oct30thThe men were polite not careless but not exactly careful with my belongings eitherThey chose to pack two of the now damaged items together in the same furniture blanketI mentioned that didn't seem like a good idea because it would cause them to bang together(both drawers are completely destroyed from this move) The drawers are both broken into themselves My stuff arrived in a timely fashion to FL from ILHowever, I was expecting a call the day before now a call the morning of may not be terrible just not very good planning nor serviceThe call however I received was before 8am which I feel is grossly disrespectful to me as a clientAs a sales person I would never contact a client that early unless they requested to beThen the driver preceded to argue with me and be rather disrespectful in the phone conversationI asked a simple question weather I could call the main office to pay with credit cardThis I feel is a question he should know the answer to, yet preceded to argue incessantly with me that no I could not and was demanding cash or a type of check which I have never heard of only which I feel is not appropriateThe fact he was insisting on cash makes me feel this driver makes unethical practices with said cash Finally around 10:30am I was able to speak with the office and make the payment over the phone to themIt is agreed he will be there Nov14th in the afternoonHowever I was never given a time frame for this which meant I was stuck at my house waiting aroundThis was very unproductive for me because I had several errands that I could have done if I had been given a time slot especially since I moved from a different state! Around 3:30-the driver calls and try's to cancel on me saying he will not deliver my stuff until the Next morning! At this point I had already waited around my house for well over 6hours unsure of when the driver may show upI had to work a double the next day making it impossible for me to accept this delivery Mary from Best Price dispatch however, did speak with this driver and told him he had to delivery my stuff thankfully The driver showed up around 5:I believeFrom here it seemed that most things greatly went downhillI went out to greet the driver and attempted to give a simple suggestion on direction for himALL HE DID WAS ARGUE with me and the other gentleman with him! He had not passed the house but was easy for him to turn at the next stop sign and street so he could turn on the side street by my Unit in the houseNO he argued pointlessly and preceded to back the semi up! Now I have actually been a passenger in a semi I have never witnessed someone with that much difficulties preforming that task! He blocked traffic, and he would not listen to the gentleman with him at all even though he was attempting to help himI genuinely felt sorry for the poor guy helping him Finally they started to unload my itemsTo my utter astonishment and disbelief they set allllll of my belongings on the GROUND!!!! No I do not have a paved driveway they set everything in the DIRT! I find that absolutely unacceptable! Thankfully the gentleman in the unit below mine was not home because they blocked his front door with my stuffThe guy continued to be less than pleasant and increasingly difficultHe then was Yelling at an elderly neighbor about the fact he was BLOCKING her drivewayI was embarrassed by his behavior to my neighbors I have not even meet yet I attempted to make suggestions on a clear path to my room through the wider of two doorways AND again this man continued to attempt to infuriate me and argue more over common sense issues! Finally stuff is actually being brought into my home; INCLUDING a ton of dirt from outsideMy roommate and I had swept and moped the previous dayThe floors are now extraordinarily filthy from this detail as wellWhen the drawers were unwrapped and discovered to be broken the helper gentleman was apologetic and asked kindly what I wished to have doneThe other guy however preceded to tell me "WHAT DO YOU EXECPT YOU BOUGHT CHEAP FURNITURE OF COURSE IT IS GOING TO BREAK" I found this absolutely appalling behaviorIt doesn't matter, I paid for my items to be delivered not broken The other guy with him did attempt to help with the T.Vstand however we discovered to our dismay that the pole inside was broken which made it unstable and rendered it useless as wellAfter their departure I did discover that they did not take the wrapping trash with them but had thrown it on the ground, next to the trash receptacles outsideI find that very disrespectful as I have with most of my experience from the delivery of my itemsLastly, I did miss this at time of delivery due to how incredible upset I was with the service and lack of respect to myself, fellow neighbors, and my belongings but one box was missing upon arrival For your own sanity and safety of your personal belongings I highly recommend never using this service

Best Price is the most outstanding and awesome service company my family has ever dealt with! Aside from being totally professional, courteous and reasonably priced, they were such a pleasure to have around! On a rainy day, the crew showed up on time in a cheerful mood, got down to work pronto and took meticulous care of everything: from A to ZI would never even think of hiring a large corporation for any personal job that needs to be done rightSmall and family owned is the place to beBRAVO, keep up the great work and high spirits! You guys make a real difference in people's lives and you should know you are highly appreciated

We understand the customer's confusion but we cannot help them with an explanation on the charges because she is not a Best Price customerHer contract was with [redacted] so all her billing questions or any other issues have to be addressed directly with themWe are sorry we cannot be of any help

The Crew arrived on time, were polite, friendly, and StrongThe booking representative made the booking process easy, and gave me an accurate estimateWould use again

The guys showed up early, did a walk through to assess what was being moved and then they got right to workWhat a great group of movers! They were always happy and joking with us, and not once did they complain - even after seeing the amount of stuff being picked up from our second location (which was on the 5th floor of a building with the slowest elevator ever!) These guys didn't even stop to take a break, they just kept going! Even though one of our small tables got a bit damaged in the move, the guys were honest and upfront about it, and the company offered to cover the cost to replace the table Honestly, I've used other movers in the past, but this was by far, THE BEST moving experience ever!

The crew of Best Price packed our belongings carefully and meticulouslyThey were on time, cheerful, courteous, and professionalNot a single item broke, or was damaged, during the moveThe crew works very hard and never complainsThey hoisted a bookcase up to the second floor, and through the deck, when it wouldn’t fit up the stairway! Throughout they went above and beyond their duties (thank you!!)We highly recommend this company, we’ve used them twice and recommended them to friends

This guys were great to work withEvery member of the staff was very professional and helpfulWe needed to move quickly because we had a short close time, and found these guys in the yellow pagesWe also called some other companies, but they were unable to schedule us last minute for the upcoming weekend or had not as solid reviewsWe were happy that we went with them, as they were solid workers and finished the whole move on time and with a great rate

I had interviewed a number of moving companies prior to contacting best price moving and storageI had been incredibly frustrated with those experiences: a couple of companies did not return my calls, one company was just not listening to what I wanted and one company rescheduled, did not show up and then showed up lateWhen the representative from best price came, he was on time, compassionate, professional and knew his stuff!! From that moment, I was not disappointed with the services providedThere were a couple of minor damages in the move, but those were addressed and resolved punctually.Their cost was comparable to other companiesThis was a tough move and best price made the physical part of the move less stressfulThank you to the entire team that cared for us during our move!!

We were totally impressed with the crew from Best Price Moving And StorageThe service was exceptional - punctual, careful with our things and the floors and walls, worked hard and reasonable ratesIt's been a pleasure to deal with this hardworking crewThey tried their best to relocate us safe and quickThe price was discussed prior to start moving and we paid exactly what we've agreedOur crew of three movers did wonders! Their skills impressed us very muchWe want to thank Best Price Moving And Storage staff for their operative and organized service, for being honest and professional I would not hesitate to use them again

I received the worst service I have ever had from this company I honestly don't think they care about all the complaints that they receive anyway This is my entire ordeal of my experience below: The Sales Rep- Ben [redacted] made promises First he told us that the price will not change but it did once they picked up our furniture Second he guaranteed a moving date and time frame which was nowhere near accurate (we didn't get our furniture until weeks later) Ok weeks later, we got a call from the driver saying our furniture was here which was around 12:00pm Good thing it was a weekend so it wasn't that bad First of all the there was only one delivery person and he came in a semi-truck Mind you I did tell Ben (Sales rep) earlier on that we stay in an apartment complex so a Semi will be an issue for delivery So of course the semi was too big and didn't fit So the driver gave us two options 1: he could get a foot u haul and move everything for an additional $or option 2: we can pick up and pay for a u haul ourselves Of course we picked option Mind you this was all happening in the same day Once we returned with the u haul the driver transferred the furniture on to the u haul, it wasn't big enough so we had to put some things in our vehicle and then told us we had to move the furniture into our house by ourselves!!! That was not in the contract or mentioned during the closing of the sale We were told they will deliver, move and set up everything that we needed They were very deceitful They knew the semi wouldn't fit and they only sent one person, so they already knew what was going to happen So of course we had to pay the driver to get our furniture My husband, daughter and I had to do all the moving ourselves We were very upset! I just had shoulder surgery and wasn't suppose to do any heavy lifting but what were we suppose to do at such a short notice By the time we were done it was 5:00pm and we were not prepared for our time to be used like this and some appointments that we had had to be reschedule Awful company, poor customer service and dishonest, I would NOT recommend them to anyone AVOID THEM!!!

This was the first time my family had used professional movers to help with a residential move and we were a bit nervousFrom the first interaction, Best Price Moving And Storage set our minds at easeI always got all my questions answered, whenever calling my representative at the reservations departmentOn the day of the move, the team showed up right at 9am as scheduledThey got to work and efficiently packed up my entire house, wrapping furniture, dismantling bed frames, etcThey took great care of everything, continuously asked for my feedback on what they were doing and wouldn't let me lift a finger! Once at my new home, they were very careful while unloading our belongings and put everything in its placeNothing was broken, nothing is missing and I think it was a very successful move, thanks to the team at Best Price Moving And Storage!!

We had a couple of very heavy tables that needed to be moved from the basement of one location to another locationThe Best Price movers were early, friendly, patient, efficient and got the job done quicklyI couldn't have asked for better service!

We are very sorry the customer was not satisfied with our services but the information he provided is not correctThe included packing services are highlighted in the printed estimate we attached to this complaintAlso the customer was only charged $for packing materials and not $1K like the customer statedWe are aware that once the delivery was finalized the truck was stuck in front of the customer's residence due to the engine not startingThat was out of the driver's control so he had to call for a towing company to assist himWe apologize for any inconvenience this may have causedOur office emailed the customer the information necessary to file a claim but if he has any further questions on the process he is more than welcome contact us
