Review: We have won an auction for a vacation bundle about 3 weeks ago. They were supposed to send us a code to redeem it in 5 business days or less. Every time we contact them by phone the line is either busy, they are "closed" today, or they say it is a holiday. The only thing they have given us is virtual bids, but no real merchandise.Desired Settlement: We need them to give us the vacation bundle with all the things it said in the auction description as fast as possible.

We apologize for the delay in getting the eCodes to the customer w/in the time frame promised. Our shipping department is experiencing a backlog of orders which has resulted in unexpected delays to our customers. We expect this to be resolved shortly and appreciate the customers patience. However if he chooses to, we can offer him a refund for the end auction price + S&H for this item.

Review: I have won and paid for all of items starting at about a YEAR ago. Bidcactus continues to string me along to make me believe they are going to ship these items. They are stealing money from customers with no intention on shipping. A place like this should not be in business.Desired Settlement: I would like the products that I paid for. I do not want a refund. They are still in business and advertising these products on their site. If they have it available on their site for auction now, then send me what is owed to me.

We understand the frustration the customer has with our shipping delay; our shipping department is doing everything possible to get her the cards 5 cards she is due as quickly as possible. I believe she had previously spoken to our customer support staff & was told the cards are in a shipment designated as BATCH38.

Review: After winning several auctions from as far back as January 21st I have received many excuses week after week as to why they have not shipped for 5 months but have not received item's and gift cards won(25)items and gift cards to date.Items and gift cards are not shipped as promised on site,(shows will be shipped within 15 business days of completed checkout).These are fraudulent claims in it's advertising.They do not treat winners of these auctions honestly and fairly.

We have been experiencing a shipping delay due to a back log of items & cards. We have contacted our shipping department to determine how quickly we can ship the customer his gift cards & the remainder of his items. Once we have an update, we will update this complaint accordingly & email the customer.

The same story just a different day from Bidcactus for over 6 months with no real explanation as to why they do not ship as they advertise on there web site.I believe that if they wait long enough they hope you will except a refund of the value of the bids you placed as well as the shipping you paid which is only a fraction in most cases of the item you won.In one case they waited for almost 5 months to tell me that the item I won was no longer available to them,and they had t issue a credit which again was only a fraction (less than one quarter)of the value of that item.They advertise very clearly under the, HOW IT WORK'S link # 5 that,Just pay for your auction win,plus any shipping cost.Your item will arrive in about 15 business day's.(usually much sooner!).That statement is the far from the truth,dishonest and in fact is false advertising and should be removed from there advertising until they can actually can do what they advertise.An email reply to the shipping delays from [redacted]on 06/21/13 to me reads,That they (Bidcactus)are experiencing a shipping slowdown.([redacted])Actually calling it a recovery from a shipping slowdown is much more accurate,he writes.4 months past there advertised shipping times are more like,(almost a dead stop),huge delay,this is clearly not a recovery from a shipping slow down.An honest company would not mislead it's existing and potential new customers with untruthful advertising such as (Items ship within 15 business day's,some times much sooner!).An honest company would instead offer the truth and say ( we are currently experiencing a shipping slowdown and delay's are taking place at this time).If this matter is not resolved shortly, I will also pursue 2 other major agency's with this substantial problem that not only I have but I'am sure many other people that also have used this site are going through.

Our shipping department advised that the 9 remaining gift cards is being processed for shipping and should go out by the middle of next week. We are still working with the shipping department to determine how quickly the non-gift card items will be shipped.

How can a company advertise items won will arrive in 15 business days, (usually much sooner), when it really takes 4 to 5 months and sometime's not at all!False advertising and unethical business practices are common place for this company and I would highly recommend new potential customers stay away so they don't waste there money.I will also forward this information to 1 other state agency in Connecticut as well as one federal agency for there review.An ethical business would not use false advertising to lure other unsuspecting new customers to there site.Instead they would let the players know that there are shipping delay's at this time and to please have patience while they correct the problem, which at this time is taking much longer than we have anticipated. My guess is that they are afraid to loose any new customers and income by telling the truth.

Review: I won and/or purchased four gift cards between 1/8/13-1/10/13. They total $175. I have yet to receive these items and I have contacted their customer support three separate times. The first time I was told they were running behind and that it would be 10-15 business days. The second time I was told the same thing, 10-15 business days. I contacted customer support again and have not heard back this time.It has now been almost 3 months. This site had no problem taking my money but they have not sent the items due to me. At what point does this become theft because my credit card was charged instantly and I still have yet to receive anything. This company clearly has no interest in customer service and at this point, I am beginning to wonder if they are simply a scam. I don't feel like 3 months is an acceptable timeframe to ship purchased items. I am requesting Revdex.com assistance in resolving this issue as they clearly do not care about the people who spend their hard-earned money on the site. Thank you very much.

Our shipping department has advised that these cards are being processed & should be shipped the week of April 29th.

This is the third promise I have received from this company and I'm hesitant to accept a response that says the item "should be shipped the week of April 29th". "Should" is an extremely non-committal word.

Again, this is the third promise I have received. I will accept the full settlement once I receive my items. I am tired of broken promises and misleading information so until I physically receive everything, this issue remains unresolved.

Review: I purchased bid packs approximately three weeks ago. Can only seem to win bid auctions, not anything else. Site appears fixed.

I have tried numerous times to win auctions and see the same names winning despite the fact that there are supposed to be winning restrictions on the site. The only thing I can win are the bid auctions which translates into the only thing I win is something tat continues to take more money and returns nothing. I am on other penny auction sites and have had success at winning and they are operated the same way. This site is a fraud. I called and tried to work things out with them and they were very rude. I also had my son come over. He went under his name, [redacted], and used my address and my bank account and my computer and tried his luck. He had the same result. I sat on several auctions for over 12-13 hours and did not win. This is not a reasonable amount of time for an auction. The same thing happened to my son on a sunday. He was on the auction for over 12 hours and it still had not ended. This is not a fair sited. I asked them jut to refund my money and they refused. They also closed out my sons account and took the 64 bids that were still on his account when I let them know he had used my computer.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the money spent on bid packaged from my checking accounts which would be under the account names of [redacted] and [redacted].

We are not sure hot to respond to this customers concerns. She stated that she is not able to win - buying BIDS does not guarantee that one will win nor is it an exchange for items on our site - the T&C the customer read prior to making a purchase of BIDS states this.

The customer stated she is on other Penny Auction site which would indicate she has a clear understanding that winning in not guaranteed.

Her account was closed by our loss prevention team as she allowed her son as she states, to open an account and used her credit card to purchase BIDS.

Sharing forms of payment across multiple accounts is not permitted - this is a violation of the Terms of Use which the customer read & accepted.

[redacted] has ZERO bids remaining in her account as these were used to participate in several auctions.

her son [redacted] who used his mothers CC to make purchased on his account in violation of our Terms of use has 19 BONUS BIDS remaining in his account.

BIDS used cannot be refunded as they were used; BONUS BIDS are just - BONUS BIDS and have no value as such.

Review: I have been a customer on this Internet Penny Auction site and have won items such as gift cards, coffee maker, garbage cans, etc, and have not been sent any of my wins since November 15, 2012, and after many attempts of talking to Bidcactus on the phone, I have had no luck on getting any of my auction wins sent to me. Bidcactus has done nothing but give me the run around about my wins being sent out to me. They should not be in business anymore and have over $8000.00 dollars in wins alone that are owed to me. Along with all the money that has been spent on the bid packs you need to buy in order to even win these items. I have already opened a case on them with Paypal and want help on getting all my funds back from payments for bidpacks, auction wins plus shipping from Bidcactus.

Desired Settlement: I would like all moneys that have been spent on bidpacks, purchases of wins along with shipping refunded.
