We have [redacted]' October box shipped and marked delivered on November [redacted]. A Discovery Specialist responded to her via email to let her know that the box was marked delivered, and offered to track it down for her if she had not received it.The November box was also shipped to the same address on...

file. Though both boxes were shipped and will be delivered, we have issued a refund for both boxes, and that will appear in 3-5 business days.

[Yes there have been a number of complaints previously and I believe that points to issues in warehouse, logistics, and within the company itself or companies utilized during the course of product storage, packing, fulfillment and delivery as opposed to the customer.  I am simply asking to receive what I paid for.  When I opened my box the item was missing, as I have experienced previously on numerous occasions within the past year when ordering from the company.  Previously they have been gracious and accommodating however not today.  I never denied the information provided regarding tracking and delivery confirmation, but the item I paid for has not been received.  I would simply request a refund or a replacement of the item at this point in time and perhaps the company needs to address operations within the warehouse rather than denying the customer product that they have been charged for. ]

I have not received the item as paid for nor a refund for purchase price.  While company may have verification of placing product in shipping package at some point prior to leaving warehouse, the item in question was not in fact included with other packaged items received.  Issue is not yet resolved.

I will be happy to upload a picture of my profile where I list my hair as fine and straight. the literature that accompanies this product explicitly states that it is for coarse or thick hair. my hair is neither.

I'm tired of reiterating the same thing    birchbox fails to accept responsibility for negligence    yes it is a discovery box but I filled out a profile which I have furnished proof of specifying my hair type and texture and they sent me a product that contradicts my profile  in addition they had products in June appropriate for my hair type that other customers receieved

We issued a refund for the remaining boxes on 1/**/2017, and sent an email confirming that refund. If the refund has not shown up yet, this customer will need to contact her bank. We are happy to provide the ARN number so she can confirm the refund with her bank.

 1) Even though they do have the right to cancel the order, they do not notify me at the time of cancellation.  If I did not contact them asking about the order(on Jan.*, 2016), I would never know what had happened.  They never contact me.2) My credit card was charged.  If the order is cancelled in a suitable way, my credit card should not be charged.  In addition, it is not suitable to give a customer a refund after more than a month of an order --  especially when the customer contact them.  I think I have the right to ask them for certain compensation.  At least, they offer me very poor customer service.
3) As a customer, I didn't know anything about what happened for more than a month.  They waste my time by charging me the amount of fee.  Besides, I also do not know why they cancel my order.  I need a fair explanation.  Order cancellation usually happens when a customer is on a blacklist.  I never had a record of malicious online shopping behavior.  I am wondering under what situation did they cancel my order?  I need an explanation!Overall, I think providing me the so-called "full-refund" at the current stage is not a suitable answer.  I do not accept it.  A full refund should be given right after they cancel the order and with an on-time notification.  If the late full refund is the only answer they can give, I will share my experience on social media.  I think the public will help me judge their behavior.  That would be my bottom line.Anyway, I would thank Revdex.com for helping me contact the retailer and trying to give me a fair judgment.

Customer's August shipment in question is en route and has been processed by local Post Office for delivery. Tracking information has been sent to customer and shipment should be out for delivery accordingly with daily mail carrier.

Customer's September shipment has been reshipped via CS agent. Original shipment appears to have gotten stuck or lost in transit via [redacted]. Replacement should be with customer soon.

When we refund an item or order, we issue a full refund to the original form of payment. This will include the credit card and/or any Birchbox Points used. The points used as payment would be distributed among all the items in an order, rather than applied to just one item.Points that were earned...

from this purchase will be removed from the account as well. Total of order was $21.80. Item returned was credited back $7.36 + 169 Birchbox Points. Remaining items in order total to: $8.25/200 Points and $6.19/153 Points. A $10 discount was also applied to the order, as were 522 Birchbox Points.

Requester should reach out to their bank/credit card company directly and immediately regarding unauthorized activity. The bank will ultimately be able to close the card and issue a chargeback, but customer has also been in touch with merchant's customer service via [redacted] private message....

Merchant customer service is trying to locate account to close down any unauthorized activity.

[My bank has tried to resolve this issue and they are getting no where on this as well. They say they will work directly with the bank is not sufficient. My bank still reversed the provisional credit given as they cannot resolve the issue with birchbox either. So this mean, I am out $50 (which I cannot afford) and have nothing to show for the $50 birchbox charged to my account. By them closing the account does not give me back the money they charged to my account fraudulently in the first place. All it does is stops anyone else from using the account fraudulently.

Our policy concerning points for sample reviews recently changed, and we notified subscribers of this change via email in June. Birchbox does allow subscribers to review their first 5 samples for 50 Birchbox points, a $5 credit in our store. After that, subscribers are not able to review their boxes...

for points each month. This is listed on our FAQ. The advertisement described in this complaint is shown under a banner that reads "Subscribe Now!" because it is referring to reviews for the first box only, and is encouraging non-subscribers to subscribe and review their first box. This subscriber was able to review both her July and August boxes successfully, and she was compensated with Birchbox points. We will not be compensating further.

This customer reached out to a Discovery Specialist, and we will be expediting the order to this customer. She should receive an email confirmation shortly.

Customer's funds have been successfully issued via customer's bank's chargeback process. The funds are not being held by merchant. Merchant site is secure as all transactions submitted to merchant are encrypted with industry-standard security software which encrypts information input to protect it from interception by outside parties. We are fully committed to maintaining the highest levels of security and protection against fraud.

Although I do not agree with how BB handled my refund, I went ahead and used up my remaining points with and have learned that I will not be making a purchase with them again after this last transaction.  When someone pays with cash of $21.80, and the product was $25.00 - the entire amount in CASH should be refunded.  I do not have the physical energy to continue to pursue this issue with this company but will never purchase from them again.Thank you for your time,
