On September 5, I purchased what I believed to be a monthly subscription to course heroI thought that I would be charged less that $per month with my subscription but when I checked my charges on my debit card I saw that I was charged $for a whole yearThat is not the subscription that I ever wanted and would like a full or even partial refund as soon as possibleAlso I tried completely canceling my subscription and do not wish to ever be charged again

I just noticed that one of my school essay has been posted to their websiteI didn't even know this website existed, and don't know how they got hold of my essaythis is just a fraudIm suing them

Course hero is a scam site! They claim to have solutions to textbooks But once you pay all they have is useless spam like the class syllabus of another college; or an unsolved copy of the problem that you were searching for a solution forThis is the 12th negative review at the time of this writing, with no neutral or positive reviews *** *** *** *** * *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** ***

These two despicable (barely) humans*** ***, CEO and *** ***, Customer Service Representative--run the scam "Course Hero" which illegally bought MY graduate school papers and work and published for re-sale on their site without my knowledge or permissionWorse yet, they did the same to year old *** My work was copy-written, and my son has a signed document from his school declaring that all student work is copy-write protected by the school I'm furious--and it's all showing up as my first result on google when my name is entered into a google search bar, making it even easier to steal my hard work I have filed all paperwork for them to take is down with NO result This is horrific!

Course Hero has a very poor customer relation / billing departmentI had recently purchased an entire year of membership upfront because of the information the site promises to deliverHowever, this is not the case at all and the site has very limited resources for what I had originally purchased membership forI have a problem with their process in unlocking additional materialOn top of paying a premium for membership, you then have so many unlocks available to view contentThe trouble with this is that they offer little to no description of the content you are about to unlock thus dwindling your short supply of monthly unlocks down very quicklyOn top of that they offer you the ability to submit content yourself in order to gain free unlocks whether that content be reviews or actual forms/documentsThis is what I have done to gain free unlocks since even before purchasing a premium membershipI have unlocked a total of documents that were absolutely worthless and provided

I requested a refund though the site’s support page but I never received a message about the my requestI only asked for a refund because I wanted to pay for the dollar monthly plan and not the yearly plan

Several months ago I became a Tutor on Course Hero and I spent 2-hours each night working tirelessly as a tutor by mid-June I had made $A few days later I received an email stating that my account has been deactivated for what was supposedly fraudulent activityI sent them an email stating that it had to be a mistake and I asked for them to provide me with evidence of such but they refusedI then asked to receive payment of $that I had earned and they refused to pay meI then asked for all of my answers that I have provided as a tutor to be deleted if they were going to refuse to pay me and they ignored my emails

I was interested in joining the website to get help with some of my homework, but wanted to try out the service for a monthIt was listed in bold print to pay $a month to use this websiteI didn't know I was going to have to dig into the terms and conditions and hunt out that I was signing up for an annual subscriptionI viewed homework assignments, both which weren't able to help me at all, I had to open them to see if they were even related to what I needed, but they were notSo I opened homework assignments, thus voiding my chances of getting a refund, the assignments were so blurred out in the first place that I couldn't tell if they were going to help me at all to begin withI was misled into an agreement to pay a lot more for a service that didn't even have what I was looking for

This site gave my computer a virusIts not a secure networkSafe yourself the trouble of having to buy a new computer

On 9/25/I accesed the course hero website for help with a class however the information that they provided me was incorrectI canceled the account within minutes of setting it up but was still charged Attempted to contact the company however all I received was an automated message that office was closed and when I tried to leave message was told that inbox was full and could not accept any more messagesI filed dispute with my credit card company and was set documents that they say I accessed my account the day after it was canceled which I did not doI would not reccommend this business to anymore unless you want to flunk your classes

COURSE HERO IS A WEBSITE THAT DEALS IN PLAGIARISM AND CHEATING, SELLING OTHER PEOPLE'S INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY FOR THEIR OWN GAIN I HAVE REQUESTED MULTIPLE TIMES FOR THEM TO BLOCK MY COURSE MATERIALS FROM BEING UPLOADED THAT THEY SELL TO MY STUDENTS TO USE TO CHEAT AND PLAGIARIZETHEY REMOVE THEM FOR A SHORT TIME BUT TAKE NO PERMANENT ACTION AGAINST FUTURE UPLOADS THEY HAVE NO SYSTEM OF CHECKS AND TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT IS UPLOADED TO THEIR WEBSITETHEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN AND SUED FOR VIOLATIONS OF ACADEMIC INTEGRITY, THEFT AND FRAUD

I signed up for Course Hero online Paid $by credit card at the time of registering Unwittingly I did not know they automatically debit you card a year later....yes a year later! I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge The credit card company found in Course Hero favor Course Hero is designed for students A student invariably enrolls for a college subject once and once completed then moves on to the next semester with other courses It is fairly unlikely a student will require the use of Course Hero the following semester let alone a year later and how would you necessarily remember signing up and expecting an automatic renewal Neither did I receive a billing notification via email I sent them an email requesting they refund my money but said they cannot do that as I disputed it with the credit card company BE CAREFUL ABOUT SIGNING UP WITH COURSE HERO you don't know how long they will continue billing you

I signed up with CourseHero a month ago, I was charged and within a week I could not access promised academic assistanceI contacted them via online chat as their is no phone number or email address and was told in the chat the email address was wrong and they had corrected it during our chat sessionI then attempted to sign in again and my account was wiped out, did not existI could not contact anyone at this point directly from my accountThis was within days of payingSince I could not chat because I couldn't login to my account I sent an email from their site and did receive a response with the same answer and also asking if it was resolved, I told them no, a couple more emails and my frustration it never got fixedI was able to access one document within that first week and nothing sinceI cannot call as there is no numberI was now again charged another from them and cannot get a hold of anyoneI attempted to get the account cancelled and they are still ta

This product advertises immediate access to research and misleads users into believing the site has the answers to the users particular questionThe word FREE is listed times on their websiteHowever you need to register and payAnd the answer you are seeking is not even available

When joining the website, there is an option to upload files for either tutoring credits, unlock credits, or actual moneyAt the time, there was no selection for the money optionAfter uploading some documents, I contacted their customer service to ask if the documents that I uploaded could be switched from the unlock credit option to the money option (earning money for when people sign up through your documents)I was told that the change cannot happen but I can try uploading my documents again after they are brought downUnfortunately, I have tried to upload my documents and they're registered as copyrighted due to their system keeping an exact copy of my old documentsWith very little documents left that I could upload which would most likely benefit me with the money option, I'm now unable to harness the full potential of why I joined the site in the first place

Its the biggest SCAM everthey charge a lot of money and good luck getting it backReed the fine print, there is not possible way to argue what they provide, and its not muchNot much help could be found there Their customer service is just horrible, pretty much they nicely telling you to *** *ffDON'T PAY THEM ANYTHING! just use google, its much better way to find what you need

These guys have forfeit my hard earned money without any reason and remove me from my tutor position from coursehero, I send several mails to give me a single proof of any violation and you guyz never replied for the same, This is second time you done this with me, I was having around $in my account you seized that and use for your own purpose, earlier you seize my $money, why you cheat like this?
