I am very disappointed in Course HeroThey don't even deserve out of starsI purchases a quarterly membershipThey charged $to my cardI opened a couple of things (just to view what it was like) and was disappointedThe membership was not as promisedLess than minutes AFTER purchasing my membership, I found where I could cancel, so I cancelled right awayI even wrote an email regarding my disappointmentThey did NOT want to refund me my moneyThey wanted to charge me, the one month fee of $and refund ONLY $I wrote back explaining that there has to be activity to view what the membership is LIKE in order to make sure it was worth paying forThere "FREE" membership, isn't even really FREEYou couldn't SEE anything, so of coarse after I purchase a membership I AM GOING TO LOOK to see if its worth it!

My suggestion to those looking into the purchase, actually go to the search bar within the website, not the app and click on “Find study materials by school” to see if there is material from your school / for that classAlso, read the fine print so you’re not surprised like most of the star incompetent purchasers that all apparently just didn’t read the contractThe website is wonderful! I have paid for the year subscription Oct 2018, yes it’s $but honestly it’s worked wonders for me and all of the classes I’m taking (I’m taking credits of courses like A&P 1&2, macroeconomics, college algebra, religion, chemistry, philosophyyou get the ideaI use the following to help me with all of my work & have great grades; CourseHero website, *** * ***Those are an awesome trio to get almost perfect grades!
The CH app isn’t that great unless you’re looking up specific questions, then it’ll bring up the documents that have that specific question on themThey just aren’t as easy to find on the app & the app is just hard to operate / poorly designed (USE THE WEBSITE!)
I only wish that I could trade in my tutor questions in for unlocks, like questions for unlock / questions for unlockI’d definitely be all over that! Possibly have the “Buy extra unlocks” for subscribers at a discounted rate would even be awesome for an incentiveMy only real complaint(s) -aside from the issue about the app- is I REALLY WISH there was someone
#1: doing quality control / confirming the documents uploaded are for the class these people are uploading them to (especially if they’re from online classes/schools)#2: not allowing people to upload page at a time, getting credit for “each document” they upload, when they are all from the same class, quiz or exam*** I understand we are not allowed to see all of the documents, however some documents are COMPLETELY blurred out, so it’s a guessing game on the content (See complaint #& #2)It is so easy to waste unlocks on junk, like the “Quizzes & Exams” that don’t belong to that class, or it’s a persons typed notes, not anything actually usefulI hope this review helps someone & I really hope that CourseHero takes the time to read it as well & considers my opinion on the things that could make it betterI would definitely recommend this to my friends & classmatesAll My Best;

I have used this company for online tutoring It is not useful at all Took almost hours to get an answer to my question The answer was laughable!

I had a membership with course hero, after paying them $a week for two weeks ($per advanced question, total of answered) they suggested I start paying more for advanced questions to be answered, when I told them I could not afford to pay more than $per advanced questions their tutors refused to help me in the hours confirmed time they said they would for the $I paid and I missed my deadline for my problem because I had to do it on my own with no statistical help from course heroI do not recommend using this site if you are a student as their goal is to only get as much money as they can from you and the answers to the problems they did give me feedback on was not 100% accurate....FYI....I'm a student

I signed up for Course Hero earlier this year, on May 25, they hit my account for a membership in the amount of $I went online to their website and chatted online to a representative and wanted my account closed due to the information on there is to old and not of use to meThe representative said she would gladly issue a refund would take 2-business days
The refund hit my bank on May 30, at 12:a.m(I confirmed with *** Bank), when I checked my account later Course Hero had charged my bank card the $59.85, essentially took their money back out of my account
I have been in contact with a Manager there with Course Hero but all she wants to do is talk to my bankI have confirmed with my bank, on two different occasions that Course Hero debited my account AFTER the refund and took their money back
