BMO Harris inherited an land loan from *** *** The interest rate is currently 8.5% We have been trying to refinance the loan to reduce the interest rate After filling out the application and providing all the documentation, BMO will not return our phone calls or our emails They are not for the consumer at all I would never recommending using BMO Harris in any capacity They are the worst financial institution I have ever dealt with If my loan wasn't more than days old, I would file a compliant

BMO Harris is without a doubt the most disorganized, customer unfriendly, backward bank in North AmericaImpossible to get refund when mistakes are made

BMO reached out and worked through the issue
with meAlthough this issue is resolved, I am not happy with the amount of time and energy that was put into this as compared to the other financial institutions that I do business withAs an individual with a loan, if I was as disorganized with the way I handled things I would surely be penalized with late fees and dinged on my credit report
In the end, BMO's policies are not aligned with other major financial institutions that I do business with and their customer service (prior to filing this complaint) was seriously lacking
I would not recommend to others that they do business with this bank based on this experience

Today for at least the fifth time this year alone I was unable to execute an ATM transaction due to a problem with not one but two different locations It is extremely frustrating and inconvenient to not be able to get cash from an ATM in the middle of the day on a Saturday And even more so when one drives an extra ten miles and still is unable to complete a transaction Even more frustrating is the fact that the lack of reliability has been an issue for several years now
Electronic systems today are capable of executing flawlessly with failure rates of well under one failure per million transactions The failure rate for the BMO Harris ATM machines here in Kokomo Indiana must be in the over one percent range based on my experience That is terrible for any kind of business, but especially for a bank

The Bank worked with *** for *** regarding this matter.*** sent the customer correspondence on 2/14/addressing her concerns

Not a suitable bank for small business BMO inherited our compainies through a merger with our previous bank The individual employees at our local office are pleasant and smile But they are relatively powerless to complete much more then accepting deposits, Everything else they try and do they have to stumble through their tedious systems To open a routine checking account plan on one full hour sitting at a bankers desk per account After it is opened if you need auto pay (ACH) on an account plan for 30-days of back and forth with numerous contacts and repeat information submits to set it up We are tech savy and prefer using online systems, but parts are hard to navigate, and give POSITIVES of ACH transactions with incorrect scheduled transaction dates! This systems problem was reported to them 6-months ago, but they have not fixed it yet Website security for business has a ID/password system - probably good, but very cumbersome to log-on, and requires frequent passward resets Password resets for commercial banking are limited to 7-M-F so if you need access to your account at night or on a weekend you may be screwed If you are a business skip BMO and find a bank that has its procedures in order

I am rejecting this response because: Although they have issued me a check for what I was owed, that is only one component of my complaint I am waiting to hear from the bank regarding the loan process, as I was not properly informed of the charges/fees associated with my mortgage

I have been attempting to transfer some of my money out of my BMO Harris Money Market account to an electronic bank since February 5th It has been days and the money hasn't been transferred It only took two days to get check from a Credit Union using the mail So much for EFT This loss of interest amounts to about $thus far
