This is my first experience with Border Plumbing Heating & Air and as a retired business/entrepreneur person I can recognize a successful, well run company.
It starts with the front line people in the office; Christine, Christina & Ellie who strive for customer satisfaction. Justin [redacted], our service technician is proud to work for Border & his professional knowledge, work ethic, & honesty reflect this.

Jeff was on time, efficient and very good at explaining the work he completed on our annual furnace maintenance. It was nice to deal with a friendly and honest professional such as Jeff.

I was very pleased with the service call from Border Plumbing and Heating. Brad C. arrived on time and was very professional and courteous . He explained each step of the service and outlined clearly what actions he was taking. He willingly repaired a part on my fireplace, even though it did extend his service call. I would definitely have Border perform service for me again and recommend them to my friends.

We wish to say how very pleased we were with the service we received.Our furnace broke and the time of the year was Dec 23 and it was very cold. Arron somehow was able to find a part ( essential and complicated part) and had it going all in the same afternoon. It took a lot of extra effort on his part and we were, of course, very happy to have heat again, but also he was very personable and clean and explained everything to us.
He really made the extra effort and we would highly recommend him and his company "Border Plumbing, Heating and Air"

I need to replace my aging hot water tank. Before I decided to hire Border Mechanical to do the job, I had researched on customer reviews on various plumbing contractors in Kelowna, and also different makes and models of hot water tanks. Furthermore, I talked to four (4) plumbing shop owners and one plumbing sales personally, trying to get "insider and professional" advice. Finally I went to Home Show in Prospera Place on Feb 13, and met Joe, the owner of Border Mechanical. I was impressed by his knowledge, honesty, down-to-earth advice, and commitment to customer satisfaction which "flowed out" naturally between his words with no pretense. My DIY plumbing experience with my previous house had alerted me that there were additional "must repair" plumbing items, nice-to-do ones, and some do-not-touch, in my present house. I jumped on the idea of a free plumbing inspection of my house when Shawn suggested it. Shawn came back with right-on-the-target lists, i.e., must-do, nice-to-do, and no-need. Shawn's work was impeccable. He used premium parts, and performed with efficiency and quality. Shawn's exceptional services, not only reflects his professionalism, and pursuit of excellency and customer satisfaction, but also mirrors the business practice model embraced by the senior management of Border Mechanical. I am now rest assured that the plumbing system in my house is in "good health", and future warranty claims, if any at all, will be honoured efficiently and effectively.

Owen [redacted] - Technician from Border Plumbing was very professional in his service. He's by far the most experienced technician who fixed our furnace within an hour and saved me a huge bundle. Excellent service. Fixed problem promptly. Answered all of our questions.

Owen was all business and got down right down to it as soon as he entered the house. I liked this! It made me feel that he was not here to waste my time or his. It didn't take long for him to tell us that he couldn't find a thing wrong with our furnace. It quit during the night 2 days prior and, although I tried several times to turn it on over the next 24 hours, it would not work. Of course it hurts to pay $100.00 for that, but, you can't expect people to work for nothing. I questioned him about the service plans his company had to offer & he seemed very knowledgeable about them all. He did not push any one plan over another, however, he did make a recommendation for a couple of different ones and he explained in detail his reasons for each. The choice was totally left up to me and I made it. Owen was a consummate professional in every way and I respect that very much.

Excellent Service provided by Border Plumbing Heating & air.
The technician showed up to our house 10 min ahead of schedule & knock at our door 2 min before the scheduled time. He introduced himself and stated what he was planning on doing. Very polite, very respectful he immediately put shoe covers to protect our floors before proceeding.
He was very meticulous while inspecting our furnace. He gave us advices on how to perform simple maintenance ourselves that would save us money and extend the life of our furnace. Also very knowledgeable on other parts of our heating system / Air conditioning / hot water tank only after we asked his opinion.
He gave us a thorough written report on the furnace - Best service we've add in Kelowna.

Adam was super helpful and knowledgeable. When we have our spring maintenance check-up, we will request to have Adam.

Matt R was courteous, polite, and thorough. He did a plumbing check, notified us of his recommendations, and provided detailed estimates of all the services he recommended -- even if we didn't choose to act on all of them. We did choose one of his recommendations. Matt provided immediate service, and had the job done in less than an hour. We are favourably impressed.

Aaron [redacted] was my technician and this is the first time using Border. I felt very comfortable with Aaron in my home and felt he was very thorough with servicing my furnace and proving me the written review upon completion. Thanks Aaron look forward to seeing you next year :)

First class service, great technician, great work, very fast worker,,, This is where I will go for future work

Had a basic safety inspection done by Border on Nov. 30/16, technician found failed condensate pump, quoted me $500 for a replacement, I declined, after review online I found pumps available at $50 to $80, I called to find out if a mistake had been made in the quote. I was advised that was not the case, so I proceeded to find a replacement at $55, installed a plug, & plugged it in, fixed!! Original pump had a bad switch, probably could have been replaced, but maybe not efficient, given labour costs. I do not accept that a 6 to 10 times markup on parts is reasonable. You make you own decisions. Good Luck.
