I have reviewed the response submitted by the business in reference to complaint #[redacted] and have determined that the response takes care of the concerns I have regarding my own issues with this company. I do not, however, believe that there was any confusion, as "[redacted]" suggests. I made my position very clear to the company in my January letter, and company's response was to send me more invoices for a product I did not order. This company's response also does not offer any assurances that future customers won't be treated unfairly, as they have in the past, as indicated by hundreds of online complaints. However, I'm done with America's Test Kitchen/ Cooks Illustrated/ Boston Common Press as long as these businesses NEVER contact me again. And so I agree to Revdex.com's closing my complaint as resolved, and I very much appreciate the speed with which Revdex.com handled this complaint. I intend to keep open my complaints to the [redacted] Postal Service and the S.D. Consumer Protection Division of the Attorney General's Office, so that those agencies can keep this information on file in case they receive complaints similar to mine. I still will discuss this case with the news media if someone calls and will be available to testify in court if asked.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments.I understand the refund policy, were I take issue is that I was never supposed to be charged in the first place. I think their system needs corrections made immediately to ensure that a trial period marketed as free until a specific date, needs to be truthful! I am sorely disappointed in a brand that I used to love. I no longer even wish to view the show.

In regards to Complaint #[redacted], Our records indicate that Mr. [redacted] signed up for a 14-day trial of AmericasTestKitchen.com on 1/13/2018. Mr. [redacted] called our office on 1/15/2018 and as requested we canceled his trial and he wasn’t charged. Mr. [redacted] will not be charged...

Again we do apologize for the confusion on this. Our records indicate that you signed up on November 22 for both an AmericasTestKitchen.com Standard membership and a membership to our Online Cooking School. While I do see that you cancelled that AmericasTestKitchen.com Standard membership (as indicated in the cancellation email you received), you did not cancel that Online Cooking School membership. I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #[redacted]. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.  However, I would not have had to taken this action if terminating subscriptions was not such a hassle on your site. I tried many times to reach ATK via your 800 number and was unable to resolve my issue. Thank you for terminating the subscription and deleting my CC account info from the site.
