I am rejecting this response because: I had made an agreement with the technician about the issue my vehicle was having and also agreed on the price he quoted for my brakes to be fixed. Regardless of what supposably got repaired, my vehicle was not in good condition after repairs. Your techinician released a vehicle that is unsafe to drive not only for myself but for my child and others on the road. Your techician clearly mentioned on the phone that they thought it might work and didnt.  At no time was I informed of any other issues with the brakes while they were working on the vehicle, when the vehicle was picked up or during any phone call with brakes plus after picking up the vehicle the first time.  Im asking for a full refund.

[redacted] called the store manager to let him know that the vehicle was still running hot, he recommended to either drive the vehicle to the store or have it towed in so we can re-inspect the work performed. She stated that “she would let him know”, this was on November 26th as written in her claim and we did not hear from until she contacted the Revdex.com on Dec 12th. She also stated that there is a coolant leak somewhere but she is not a mechanic and cannot tell. How can she determine that the “manifold seals were not properly placed” if she is not a mechanic? [redacted] is speculating that the work we performed was not done correctly, she nor we cannot determine this until the vehicle is inspected. We have 6 other locations in [redacted] that can inspect the vehicle for a failure. Any work performed by Brakes Plus is covered under our 6mon/6000 mile warranty (brake pads carry a lifetime warranty) this also includes the brake work. If any of the work performed by Brakes Plus failed, [redacted] will not be charged for the repairs.

The refund check was mailed on October 19th... Unfortunately, we are not refunding anymore money for any reason. Our policy for refund is by check only. If you do not receive the check in the next day or so, please call ###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because: it has no specifics.. once they have provided an accurate total in accordance with their response and that total reasonably matches my estimations I will accept the response

I am rejecting this response because the car was running and at least one hose did need replaced. We already knew that before the car was taken to the shop. I dont know what [redacted] does not understand when I say that the reason the car was taken to the shop was so that the one hose we knew about would be replaced. They didnt replace it. Bottom line, whether I needed the water pump or not, I wanted at least the one hose that I knew was bad replaced. It wasnt put on the work order and it wasnt replaced. I should have checked my receipt but didnt. When I was quoted the price I was lead to believe that the cost of all of the hoses being replaced was included. I dont know why it wasnt put on the work order or why it wasnt done but it was supposed to be and there lies the problem. They didnt do the job that I asked them to do which caused me to blow a head gasket and now Im out of a car. Weve now got [redacted] investigating the incident with brakes plus and Im filing a small claims lawsuit.

First time going to Brakes plus. I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt and fairly priced job they completed. They were very professional and completed my car the same day. Their prices surprised me and were very reasonably priced.

I am rejecting this response because: I am having trouble accepting the first service of $636.34 is warranted if it did not correct our problem. We put our trust in your company to take care of the noise problem, we agreed to the service you recommended because we believed it would fix whatever the issue was that caused the noise but it clearly didn't. Whether or not the service you performed benefited us, in the end it wasn't the fix to our issue and ultimately not what we were asking of you. We wasted time (and money) having to get 2nd opinions and coming back to your company thinking they would make it right a second time. I appreciate the apology and offer I just don't think it is fair.
