I am rejecting this
response because: 1st I'm the person that set up the attic inspection with the Cloud roofing inspector. To my disappointment, the Cloud Roofing inspector, the Cloud roofing roofer with his two helpers showed up at my residenceNO ONE had a flashlight to see in the dark space of the attic. They were in NO WAY prepared to go in the attic, but just going thru the motions to shut me up. Neither the inspector nor the roofer went in attic but sent a helper, just because I'm standing there so someone had to go in the attic space. He went to ONE location checked it, while inspector and roofer were on the roof going YES I can feel were it is SOFT right here, but still stating nothing is wrong with the roof but the original house plywood is weak. WELL I am still of the belief if the plywood is weak as THEY say- it should have been replaced. As I stated to the Cloud Roofing sales rep to replace any and all rotten, damaged plywood-I still do not believe that happened2nd I still do not know how many pieces of plywood was replaced; all I can see is they used one piece cut it and used pieces on the eave soffitthey patched it and I can see from the ground pieces nailed to rotten plywood. They did a horrible job of even trying to act like they replaced the rotten wood3rd they still left nails, screws, etc (they didn't even use one standard fastener but whatever was in their bucket) ...what ever they had available to attach the shingles to the roof, because I can see them sticking thru the wood in the soffits. They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL..WOULD NOT RECOMMEND I am being forced to pay for what I believe to be a substandard roofing job. This is nothing but taking advantage of the elderly. Doing a so so job sending guys to swear it's all perfect - and have various people continue calling to demand money. I guess I have no choice but to pay the invoice, but am definitely doing it in protestI received substandard roofing for a MAXIMUM CHARGE!

Mr** did not report the pond issue until months afterThere was a lot of dirt in the pond and it appeared to be leaking for a very long time

Repairs were completed on 1/26/and customer was notified

Mr*** the owner of the roofing company came out to review the complaint He agreed that the shingles on the West side of the home were laid in a different pattern and were not crooked Mr*** sent out a different crew who removed and replaced the shingles of the entire effected side of the home.I whish to thank the entire staff of the Revdex.com for their efforts in assisting me in resolving this issue.Please consider this matter closed.Respectfully, *** ***, DAV

We would love to finish the jobHowever, when someone says they are going to sell their house and not pay us, what choice do we have?

I am rejecting this response because: The replacement of the roof was not completed by time stipulated on contract and delay resulted in loss of house buyer. My contention is that the contractor did not
perform as required in contract. A response that work is complete is also not accurate as a portion of the gutters has not been completed and some of the old gutters have not been removed from my house. We had agreed to July 4th completion time given I had buyer for my house with realtor number indicated on the contract, contractor did not provide updates on any delays and just did not perform per contract requirements

I am very appreciative of Cloud's Roofing responseHowever, due to there response, I believe they're not accepting full responsibility for
there action, in this matter and do not value their customersI wholeheartedly do believe, that I should be entitled to some type of compensation, for my inconvenience over the past weeksI believe this is not to much to ask for

Mr*** has not been harmed by the delayWe have a delay clause in our contract that Mr*** accepted upon signing

I am rejecting this response because:Sell of the house was contingent on roofing work being completed as stated in my contract with Cloud Roofing. Their lack of performance led to the cancellation of the sale, would have paid roofing company in full had they completed the work in time for house to sell. This arbritation is a result of their lack of performance and not honoring of contract

A repair tech fixed these issues and Mr*** confirmed this morning via telephone that everything was ok now

Repairs have been completed

Ms*** called the office to cancel the contract so she could hire our sales person to do her roofWe reminded her of the 10% cancellation fee in our contractShe chose to cancel anywayWe spent time and money processing her contract and ordering materialsShe told us she felt sorry for ***
and wanted to help herShe chose to cancel with the knowledge she would lose her 10%It is unethical for a salesperson to leave employment, then start a company, and take the very customers she had sold for that company

Our contract allows for delaysIf a closing is pending, the money is held in escrow until it is completedIf a sale is lost, we have no control over thatWe expect to be paid in full
