I am rejecting this response because: They put my digital signature on the wrong contract. There is no way I would agree to a one year contract to this gym when I had no intent on staying in the area for that long. I was already getting ready to move when I agreed to a month to month contract. Please do not honor their dishonest business. I am so upset with how I was treated at by [redacted]. I am looking for a lawyer to file a huge lawsuit. They bullied me and slandered me out of the area. Now they are ripping me off.  There is NO WAY I WOULD HAVE AGREED TO A 1 YEAR CONTRACT WHEN I HAD NO INTENT ON BEING IN THE AREA THAT LONG. THIS IS DISHONEST BUSINESS.

Revdex.com:  California family fitness has stated that they will take us off their sales call list, apologized for the sales guy misleading us, and In My email stating "keep whatever balance u want on there" in no way means to take the balance from my bank account. It means to keep whatever balance you want on your end. Matter of fact I specifically said to not touch my account and that I actually put a 30 day block on my account against cal fit. Also the billing date changed in June of 2014 and we didn't receive any sort of refund, cal fit was only trying to give us our refund in November through the cancellation fee they wanted to charge us, despite us asking for the refund several times. The Change of our billing date was totally unexpected and like the annual fee we were never informed. Finally, after reviewing yelp reviews I am definitely not the only previous member who experienced being misrepresented. Great facilities but shady sales people. From the last message I got from California Family fitness it seems as if they are going to fully leave us alone. I am satisfied with the outcome and wish the best to cal fit. This will be my last message. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: due to the fact that a representative of the company can give out information that isn't true and not fear consequences from the employer they represent. And as a representative of the company showing a lack of knowledge of a contract that you have customers sign in the worst form of customer service.

I am rejecting this response because:As of May 1st when I checked my bank statement, there was no credit for $12. And I also noticed I was still being charged the monthly dues of $32 which should be $29.

I am rejecting this response because:I am not able to see any update other then the message received this morning from CA Family Fitness- which I responded to.  Am I missing an attachment or other update?

I have had the member ship over 2 years. On October 16 there was “reaccuring” transaction for $39.99. On October 18 the monthlg fee of $64 for my husband and my memebership was withdrawn. On Nov 5 my debit card was stolen. I called the bank to cancel my card and get it replaced. I also called CFF to inquire about the $39.99 fee. The lady on the phone could not explain the fee. Due to this I asked to cancel my account. I also let them know that either way they would not be able to ge the money because my bank card was stolen and it had been cancelled. The lady on the phone said she would place my account on hold for 3 months. Not sure what that meant. I am assuming that would be for November, December and January. Well today there is a $208 pending withdrawal from my bank account from CFF. On the new bank card for which I did not give authorization to CFF to use. I believe CFF has committed fraud. How do they even have the authority to take money out from someone’s bank account without authorization? This is illegal and I have contacted a lawyer to start a class action lawsuit against CFF. This is not ok and they should not be able to get away with it.

They just give you the run around and prolong any problems,
I did not pay anything and only used the gym once, they want to charge me $300, for what?! I only went once and it hasnt even been a month yet!

I was a little hesitant because I have a hectic schedule but the sales guy assured me that I would not be paying any processing fee and registration fee and that by the end of the month before I got billed that I would be able to cancel with no fees that all I had to do to cancel was contact him, I asked him for his card he even gave me his personal cell number. Not even two weeks after I tried to get ahold of him with no luck. I decided to go in the nearest gym to me to cancel and they told me I had to pay $300 to cancel and I explained my situation and what the sales guy told me and they said they were not going to honor it that I would have to get in touch with him. He has not returned any of my calls or emails and it is getting closer to the end of the month. I called multiple managers and other sales people that were there at the school and they all give me the run around, I cannot get in contact with the one person they keep referring me back to no one wants to take care of my situation after I was promised that I would not have to pay anything if I wanted to cancel. I have only gone to the gym one time since I signed up.

I initially went to CFF for a free seven day trial at the Fair Oaks location, unbeknownst to me I fell into the trap of a "contract" that I did not have any intentions signing up for. From my understanding the agreement was on a month to month basis, and im free to cancel any time. My last visit to this gym was June 23rd 2017, it is August and I have not been to the gym since June 23rd, so why am I still being charged for something I don't use? In order for me to cancel they said I will have to pay $300 termination fee, this is ridiculous. I do not use the gym anymore and I want a refund for the last two months of no use, and I want to be done with CFF. So unprofessional. Nothing but scammers.

I sign up for at school for California family fitness since one of the girls told me I can bring 5 "people"(didn't give me the age requirement) for $104 I asked her if I wasn't satisfied how long do I have to cancel she said one week I sign a sheet and they didn't give me a copy of my contract. I went to family fitness on the 6th day to cancel and they told me it was to late and that I needed to pay $300.. I am a college student and the reason I decided to cancel was because I wasn't able to afford it since I coudnt get 5 people to come with me, and me alone was going to be $54. I called corporate and they basically told me "to bad u sign the contract and u need to pay" I was not only miss I formed once about the days I had to cancel but I also made the effort to gathered up 5 people to come with me so I can pay $104 and they told me they had to be 18years or younger but when I asked the corporate they just told me being 5 people(they didn't specify the age). That was the second time I was miss informed. I honestly don't know what I'm gonna do I can't afford to pay monthly nor the $300 ! I can barely afford school! I haven't gone to the gym once.I will call corporate again to see if they can fix this cause I'm stressed out.
