Empire Today provided a very professional service from their Sales Rep to their Installation Team they were top notch and did completed my tile floor in a very timely manner.Their instslkion team were very gracious and did an excellent Job very neat and tidy True professionals

I made an online appointment with Empire Today for 12/27/16, and (Keith) the salesman showed up at my door on the designated day within the allotted timeframe. He was very informative and attentive to my flooring needs. He showed me samples and I made my choice from there. He gave me a quote, which was way out of my budget, and when I told him how much I was looking to spend, he called his office to see if the rate could be reduced. They obliged me and gave me a more reasonable price. The installation was set to take place on 12/29/16, but the paperwork got mixed up and wasn't processed in time, so the installers didn't come until 12/30/16. I was disturbed and inconvenienced with the delay, but they made up for it with the professional job that was done on the 30th. The installers took great care to ensure that their prep work area (outside of my house) was properly covered. They also took great care in cleaning/sweeping up all fragments of the wood after the job was completed. They also took all of the carpeting (that they removed from my floor), as well as all other paraphernalia that came along with the installation of my floors. I was very impressed as to how they removed the molding alongside the bottom of my walls and then put it back perfectly! They did that so that the molding would be seamless. I am extremely pleased with my new engineered hardwood floors! My living room looks like a totally different room! I put the before and after pics on ** and received a numerous amount of likes and great comments! I had a remarkable experience with Empire Today, despite the initial glitch, so I highly recommend them for your flooring needs! From a very satisfied customer!

I am filing this complaint because of several different reasons. We had set up an appointment for a sales person to come out and give us an estimate. He never showed up or called the first time, he called and could not show up the second time and he finally showed up the third time. Because of the sales guy not showing up until the third time Empire Today took $500 off our order which we were happy with and this is why we had decided to do business with them. We put a deposit down of $354 for carpet in 3 bedrooms and laminate wood flooring in our living room and hallway. We had scheduled installation for Thursday November 10, 2016 for laminate and Friday November 11, 2016 for carpet. The installers did show up to install our laminate flooring on Thursday but there are a few gaps and they nailed trim onto our existing trim. Then we got a call from customer service on Friday at 10:00 am that they could not find an installer to install our carpet. We had already pulled all our stuff out of our bedrooms and I had my kids stay home from school to finish it and my husband took off of work and then they didn't come. So we had it rescheduled for today Tuesday November 15, 2016. I told them that they could come out anytime after 1:00 pm. At 1:30 pm I called Empire Today to see if they were still coming and the customer service lady told me that we were on the schedule for today and that we should be receiving a call from the installer on the arrival time. We got another call about 2:20 pm today and it was the installation coordinator saying that the installer was there to pick up everything for our job and he said he refused to do the job and left. So we have been stood up again regarding this installation. The coordinator said that the problem they are having is that I want an afternoon installation and no one wants to come out to our place that late. On the emails we get about installation it says that they come out anywhere from 8:30 am-6:00pm. So how is this our problem. We have took everything out of our bedrooms twice now and have taken our beds apart and taken everything out and for nothing yet again. This is ridiculous that this company has sub-contractors that don't wont do to the job. Are we ever gonna get what we have paid for??? We refuse to pay the price after everything we have been through this company!!!! We want our money back!!!!!! The worst company I have dealt with!!!! What is Empire Today gonna do to make this right?????

Empire Today. Wonderful overall exp. The rep was excellent and the installers were too.

I have had a number of issues with Empire. They range from salesmen and installers not showing up to being lied too.
I waited 3 hours on a Saturday for the installer to finish the job and no one showed. I was later called by the installer and told the material was not in stock. Empire called the same day to tell me the installer had an emergency and could not come.
Just today, June 22, 2015, I was expecting a repair group on site to replace half of my floors, I was called at 9:00 AM and told the person I requested was not available until Thursday or Friday. I had explained to Empire earlier with all the issues I wanted this one group of guys to come out as their work had been far more superior to anyone else they send.
They don't are about the average customer. I don't think they realize we the customers have jobs. We have to take time off from these jobs to get this work done and then to not have a person show up is just inconsiderate and unprofessional

I had an extremely negative experience with this company. We set up our consultation, and at that time we were told the next install date was 2.5 weeks out. We booked that date and paid a deposit on the spot. We then got an email the week of the install saying we needed to call them to confirm the installation date. We called and confirmed, and we told that the installers would call us between 7:30am and 8:00am to give us the window of arrival time. We run a business as independent contractors, we cleared the whole day for this and turned down work to be here. We are literally losing money staying home waiting.

The morning of the install we woke up, moved all of our furniture out of our bedroom, and no phone call. We waited 2 hours and called customer service, at that point we were told the installer can't make it and they're finding another installer. We wait 2 MORE HOURS, no phone call. We call back, the installer can't make it, someone else might be finished in time to install later in the day. We wait another hour, call back, and no installers can make it, but maybe there is someone available the next day. I'm put on hold for 20 minutes, have to hang up and call back so that I can talk to someone, and when I finally do get a person on the line the next install date is the following Tuesday! We won't be in town, and have jobs booked for the next two weeks, but they want us to cancel our plans, lose out on more work, and wait around hoping this time they will actually follow through with the job. How can you trust a company that cancels with no notice, and doesn't even honor their own confirmation?!?! THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Sept 6 2016.... Empire carpet showed up exactly on the scheduled time and brought the correct product as requested. I did not like the thickness of the padding nor did I like the density of the carpet. Once I spoke with managers and representatives I found the carpet was exactly what I wanted. The entire sales force was extremely patient with me and explained everything in full. Even my original salesman called me to make sure I was happy. The carpet is being installed as I write this review. I will write another one after it is finished. The installers were from Ecuador but have lived here for over ten years. The were very nice though there were moments where communication was difficult, I was patient and explained everything I wanted. SUPER install team really nice guys.

GOOD PRODUCT AT AN EXCELLENT PRICE--FROM SALES TO POST-INSTALLATION THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. THE INSTALLATION TEAM FROM THONY'S CARPET WAS ON TIME, NEAT , CLEAN RESPECTFUL AND PROFESSIONAL.

I was only able to afford them due to the right sale. I had figured my DIY price, and Empire came up with better carpeting, better padding, and installation for only $200 more than my DIY price. I had to say yes to that. The salesman was knowledgeable and helped me arrive at a carpet that I liked, and the installer was PROMPT which surprised me as he had to drive 90 minutes to get to my home! The installer was clean/friendly/efficient and put up with my interrupting him with questions like a good pro. VERY happy with the end result.

I want to the share the great experience my husband and I had dealing with Empire Today. Scheduling a consultation online was quick and simple. Our customer service rep, Jake, was prompt and informative. He answered all my questions and gave helpful suggestions while I was making a carpet choice. I DID NOT feel pressured or rushed. Jake explained the installation process and warranties. I did make a purchase and we scheduled an installation date at that time. My carpet was installed today by Romero and Luis and I am absolutely thrilled at the result. They were friendly and hard working! They cleaned everything and left my house spotless. I will be happy to recommend Empire after this great experience!!!

$99 per room? not really. but I figured it would be $99 FOR CARPET then they make it up on the padding,parts and labor. one room 13x26 for a total of 338sqft $1300 bucks! wow I said then the price comes down to $900 wow again. I guess its$99 for carpet and $1200 for parts and labor!!?? what a joke I tell the sales person, just leave the $99 per room part out,its false advertisement . I called [redacted] and they came in at $700 then [redacted] they came in at $649. the point is empire is a complete ripoff and joke with false advertisement as a way to get the sales person to your home.

Great experience with Empire. From the appointment setting to meeting with the sales rep to the professionalism of the installation team, everything went very smoothly and I was very comfortable during the process.

Empire Today did an exceptional job reflooring our dining room. From the initial sales estimate in our home to the installation, everything was over the top quality work.

Things were promised made sound like no problem to have done and job never completed to my satisfaction. Came back to Empire as a repeat customer, but now doubting why I did. Also was told I had to put down 10% and did so then after paying deposit was then told I didn't need to as I was financing but too late for that

I am a repeat customer with Empire Today. I bought window treatments from them 10 years ago. Since then I've had new windows and doors installed and unfortunately the old window blinds would not fit the new windows. Since I was happy with their service last time, I decided to do business with them again. And AGAIN, I have never been happier with their products and services. They did an excellent job of measuring everything. and they did an excellent job of installing all the window treatments. They're beautiful and I just love them. I would definitely call Empire Today again!

Representative was timely and easy to talk to. We found Empire to be higher priced but gave them a try. I don't like the trim with the laminate. It looks unfinished. The installers did not speak English so we could not communicate at all. Couldn't discuss any concerns. Their tools were not cutting right so they used some of our tools. Flooring is not very scratch proof

David [redacted] was amazingly helpful to me! My fiancé and I are just moving into our home and David has worked with us to ensure that we get what we want at a price that is comfortable to us. I would absolutely recommend Empire (David) to anyone!

We are very pleased with Empire Today. From the sales associate to the installers. Both were very nice and professional. The installers answered every question we had and even explained what they were doing. A great experience.

Our experience with Empire Today was a great one! I would recommend them to anyone interested in flooring. The appointment was on time and our sales rep, Bob, was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We had an appointment on Saturday and by end of the day Tuesday we had hardwood floors in our master bedroom and closet. The installers were awesome!!! They worked so hard and were so detail orientated in all their cuts that the floor is flawless. We were pleased with the beginning of making the appointment to the end result!
