I have just had Empire Today install carpeting throughout my entire first floor, and I am so pleased with the whole experience. The Sales associate was very knowledgeable and the installation team was very professional. I love my new carpet and everything the sales associate said about the stain resistant quality is true, my dog got sick and left a few stains on my new carpet, but I followed the cleaning process for stain removal that they provided and all the stains came out and my carpet looks perfect. I would recommend Empire Today to everyone because they are truly a company that cares about your needs. I especially like the at home service so I can see the samples inside of my home so that I can make the right choice.

I have not had a good experience with Empire Flooring. Originally received a quote to carpet 3 bedrooms and a great room. Advised them I would be pricing shopping for comparison. Received a call from "corporate" with a considerably lower quote. I agreed at that rate and when they sent the salesmen back out to my house would not honor the new quote. I called multiple times over the next 2 weeks to rectify and was always told someone would call me back the next day and never received a call back. Ultimately got someone to assist me and settled on another quote (in between the 2 already given to me). They arrive at my house to install the carpet with a lower grade carpet and not what I ordered

I will be using Empire for all my future flooring needs.

We have been using Empire for 15 years now, and never had a problem. This is why we keep going back to them. Fast easy in home shopping with curtious people.

The entire experience with Empire was excellent. The sale rep was there on time with samples to choose from, He was respectful of the fact I told him I was not making a decision that day and was getting more estimates and did not push to have me place the order that day. When I chose Empire, he returned the next day and finalized the sale and set up the date of installation I chose, The installers were on time, friendly and knowledgeable. After the carpet was installed, they swept the foyer and vacuumed the carpet and removed all excess pieces. There was a nice size remnant that they rolled and taped and took to the garage. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would recommend, The carpeting is of very high quality - the one I replaced was also from Empire and was purchased about 24 years ago, The carpeting AND padding remained in excellent condition, even after steam cleaning practically every week, The only reason it was replaced was because of pet damage.

Our experience with Empire Today was very positive, from the time we made the call to schedule an appointment, all the way through to the completed installation. The scheduling person was very courteous, and explained the process in complete detail, and gave us confirmation of our appointment date and time. The flooring consultant who came to our home was also very courteous, arrived on time, listened carefully to what we wanted to do (replace carpet with LVP in 2 bedrooms), advised us on how the process would go. presented options to us for removal of the carpet and replacement of the base molding. He was very thorough and not one time in the process did we feel pressured.
The installation team also was very courteous, arrived on time, showed proper concern for what we were having done and in making sure no walls or adjoining floors were damaged. The installation went perfectly, and our bedrooms look fantastic with the new LVP installed.

Great service

Beware! If you are trying to resolve an issue with this company -After 1 hour and 7 minutes on hold (I assume they were hoping I would hang up and go away) on their 1-800 number I got no satisfaction. It is an endless loop of phone tree pass offs. Absolutely the worst customer service I have encountered in any business. No one has a direct phone number, no one can be reached, you are invisible as soon as the salesmen leaves your house. In my opinion a dirt floor would be preferred to trying to work with Empire.

After signing the contract for an entire house full of new carpet, I started seeing bad reviews about Empire Today. I contacted our salesman to let him know that I was concerned. He reassured me that the work would be done perfectly. Sure enough, the morning of the installation, four men arrived at the appointed time. They worked hard, were very thorough, were very respectful of our home and belongings. They completed our entire house in one day, and we are very happy. We tipped each of the workers to show them our appreciation. I would purchase carpet through Empire again.

Empire Today did a fantastic job installing my new carpet. Their workers were professional and did an excellent job not only installing my carpet but taking care of my personal property.

Everything from beginning to end was excellent.

I had vinyl floors installed in my closet about 6 months ago. I am currently moving and have noticed that there is damage to the closet contents, specifically framed art that I had stored in the closet. It appears that the frames must have fallen from the shelves during the installation of the flooring and the installer did not tell me about this. There is about $1200 worth of damage (this estimate is based on the cost of the framing that was done in 2004).

I scheduled an in-home estimate for Feb. 22 on Feb. 15. On Feb. 20 I received an email and phone call both confirming the appointment. On Feb. 22, no one showed up and no one called (they were supposed to be there between 9 & 11 am). At 11:30 I called and was put on hold while they called the person who was supposed to show up. Apparently, he was running behind and then decided to just not show up at all since he was running late and this would cause all of his appointments to be late. I rescheduled for the next day between 1 & 3. Again, no one showed up. I'm not sure how people cal trust this company to show up an install flooring when their sales people take it upon themselves to decide not to show up at all for estimates. I am beyond livid at this point and will be taking my business elsewhere, as I suggest ever other single person out there does. I understand life happens and things come up, but for two days in a row to be a no call no show is completely unacceptable. No idea how they are still in business with those practices.

Sales person and installers were excellent! Knowledgeable and professional.

We had our flooring done in our kitchen/dining room yesterday and the workers not only broke our dishwasher (it leaks like sieve now), but they decided to leave a container that holds pesticides (the one that poisons mice) on our kitchen counter where we prepare our food, not to mention we have 2 small children in the house! I called costumer service immediately and they said someone would respond within 24 hours. It's been 25 hours and no response. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EMPIRE TODAY!!!

Empire came to my house on May 11th & sold me on a laminate flooring and said it would take "3-4 days to complete". What a bunch of BS that was!. The job started as scheduled on 6-1 as we agreed upon. Today is 6-12 and the job is still not done. The installation was supposed to be complete by 6-4 but a under order or under shipping of the trim was placed therefore the job was incomplete. The installation supervisor assured me they would get the materials ordered so they could return on Friday 6-5 to complete. On top of that, a over order of the laminate was sent and now I'm stuck with 8 unopened boxes that I guess Empire expects me to pay for!. Friday 6-5 came and went with no installers or phone call what so ever to say why no one was coming. After making calls to Empire's so called top notch customer service, all I got was "we will make some calls & try to find out what happened". By Friday night no response or answer was giving to me. First t

By far the worst service I have ever encountered. I had an important scheduled for Tuesday 04/27 between 3-5. I received a call on that Tuesday TEN minutes prior to when they are supposed to be there, to tell me they aren't coming. I was very upset because I had to miss work to make this appointment. After finally accepting it, I rescheduled that next day. Wed 04/28 between 3-5. I advised the rep that I needed to leave around 5 and to make sure the rep got here as close to 3 as possible. I advised that they were inconveniencing me and that it's important someone get's here as close to 3. So that Wednesday I receive a call a little after 3 to tell me that the rep wouldn't be there at 3, they are finishing up a job. Around 4 they called me back to tell me they rep couldn't come. I was livid! Not only once did they screw me, but now twice. There excuse was that they shouldn't guarantee a time to someone. At well it's one thing to not be able to make it at 3 but AGAIN, for the SECOND DAY, you can't even make it between the allotted time given to me. I advised them how upset I was and how much they have inconvenienced me and they had NO remorse what so ever. They didn't care that this not only happened once but this happened twice, the VERY NEXT DAY! I was beyond angry. I asked for a manager, who was nothing but unprofessional. His advice to me was to call the sales rep and ask when he could get here. THAT IS NOT MY JOB! I was told on Tuesday that the rep would be here as close to 3 as possible due to what happened. not only could he not get here at 3 but he couldn't even get here when he was supposed too. I have never received such horrible customer service. They did not care if they lose business and they did not care about customer satisfaction. Of course I asked for a customer complaint line and of course they didn't have one. Worst company ever! I understand stuff happens which is why I became understanding on Tuesday and just reschedule but the fact that it happened twice, back to back is uncalled for. They really show that big companies only care about the bottom line and could not give two cares in the world about their customers. The "manager" told me the sales rep was last to his previous calls which is why he couldn't get to mine. I was told that I was listed as a priority but they don't the dispatching and that they can't not help it where he goes first. I have a small townhouse that needed measured. I still can't believe how they handled my call and how they couldn't care they lost my business.

Overall my experience with Empire was favorable. However, I did not like the practice of having to pay before the job was completed. Full payment is expected when the installers arrive. Also, you do not know who the installers are until the day of...NOT GOOD. The installers were not wearing anything to identify themselves as being associated with Empire. However, they were quite courteous and very respectful of my home. Fortunately, everything turned out well and the carpet looks great.

Nightmare, Nightmare cancelled appointment don't return phone calls, still owe me money but they don't care. Called numerous times no call back

I had my flooring done by company, from beginning I noticed gap between wood flooring. They did a lousy job and I just hired private inspector so I can take them to small business court. Wasted my money spend 5000 grand and need to replace it.
