On 5.8.16 I took my iphone with a cracked screen for repair. Subsequent to this repair my camera and ear piece are no longer operational. On 5/8/16 I took my iphone 6 for repair of its screen. The phone was fully operational save for the cracked screen. I paid $118.25 for a new screen. After receiving my "repaired" phone I discovered the camera and ear piece were no longer working. I returned to Cellairis on Wednesday May 11th and informed them of the issues. The sales representative attempted to repair the damage by replacing the screen again and replacing some parts, however this was unsuccessful and the camera and ear piece remain non-functional. They would not issue a refund for the damage caused by this "repair". Desired SettlementI am seeking either a refund of $118.25 or the value of a replacement phone which is current $549.00 per Apple.

I left my Iphone 5 to this place to have a broken screen replace, after 30 minutes I went back to pick it up paid the person and left the site, when I got home I notice that the camera was not working and the phone was overheating I also notice it was missing screws on the outside. The following day I went back to the place to speak with the person that fixed my phone, he try to fix the problem but could not fix, instead he made up a lot of excuses saying what was wrong with the phone also I told him to give me a refund to return my broken case and to give me a full refund but he refused to do ti. After a few days I went back to the place and found two different people working at this kiosk in the mall so I went and told them what had happen. They were very cooperative they told me that they had fire the other two guys because they had mess up many phones. One on the person (did not get his name) was working on my phone telling me that it was missing screws and that he needed to order new camera and some screws. He said that the owner had told him to make people right and that he would fix everyone's phone. He told the other lady name [redacted] to write down my phone number that she would call me to let me know when the parts have come in. After a week I did not hear back from them so I contact them but the only person that answered the phone was [redacted] the manager and she told me that they were not going to fix my phone that I needed to stop calling. She keeps telling me that she can give me the number from the guy they hired and got fired? why d I need that? they are the ones who hire him. after many attempts I decided to go in person and when I asked her who the manager was she kept saying it was her. does not want to tell me the owners name, also she said that she was going to call security if I kept bothering her. [redacted] said it she is not going to fix the phone.Product_Or_Service: Replace broken ScreenOrder_Number: XXXXXXXXDesired SettlementI just want to get my iphone 5 fixed, the same condition it was when I brought it in to them.I want them to fix their mistake and stand by their word.

I took [redacted] to this company to replace a damaged screen. Within hours of picking up the [redacted], one of the corners popped off. I took it back for them to repair the corner twice. Each time, it popped off again with a couple of hours. The person doing the repair said he had no idea why it was happening. Therefore, I don't think continuing to return it too their store to try to fix it is going to do any good.Product_Or_Service: Replace [redacted] ScreenOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementThe total cost of the repair was $161.24. I am requesting a refund of $141.24 ($161.24 less the cost of the screen which I am estimating to be $20 based on the average cost that is can purchase it directly off the internet.)Business Response Location's franchisee contacted the customer. Customer refuses to come back to get phone fixed and won't pick up their calls. 3 separate techs look at it and device leaves location fine and in full working order. Location agreed to refund customer for trouble, however customer is refusing and ignoring attempts of contact. Consumer Response This company has not one time called/emailed me to try to resolved this issue. Their response is a complete lie. Clearly they do not realize that I can provide phone records to prove this.Final Business Response 6/22/2015 - Franchisee approved refund. Refund check request being submitted and check will be mailed within 7 business days.

Defective product. No ability to receive refund. Poor customer service. On 6/13/15 I purchased an I phone-c "Dual Layer Case" from Cellairis. Within 30 minutes, one layer was very loose and would not protect the phone. I went back to the Kiosk to return it, however, was informed that the store policy is exchanges only, and that I had been informed of this policy on the receipt. My concern is that I was informed of the policy, AFTER the purchase, when there was no recourse. There is no sign of this policy PRIOR to purchase. The store clerk offered to exchange the case. We tried several other cases of the same type (even though they were not the colors we wanted) - they all had the same defect.I asked to speak to the manager, I was told she WAS the manager. I asked to speak to the owner and was told he or she was "unavailable."In the end, we walked away with a case we did not want.Interestingly, I went to the company website and attempted to report this to them. After typing my concern and pushing, "Go" I received a message that my concern could not be sent and to send it again later. I would like a refund. I have the receipt. Thanks for your help.Desired SettlementI would like a refund and an apology.

Review: November 4 - 2013: This business did not post refund/exchange procedures for customers. My 13 year old grandson purchased jewelry from this business, but was denied a refund when he returned to get a refund 30 min after purchased. The business owner had stamped the receipt with stated no exchanges - no refund, bur only after my grandson had paid for the item. There were not signs or posters referring to refund/change policies.Desired Settlement: Request a $30.00 settlement for the cost of the item purchased. I still have the merchandise and receipt.

Response:

I spoke with a gentleman from the company and he stated that they can exchange but they cannot issue a refund.

Review: I purchased a screen repair for an iphone 6 for $90. When I received the "repaired" phone there were numerous issues with the display including a wrinkle effect underneath the glass, glue and gunk around the edges of the screen, and a very noticeable amount of dirt and particles underneath the glass screen. I was told that this was due to the cleaner used and to wait a couple of days for it to dissipate, which it never did.Desired Settlement: At the very least I think I am entitled to a refund for the failed service that I purchased. If anything the phone is in an even worse condition as now the screen is likely irreparable due to the damage caused by the "repair". I would like to see a total reimbursement for the phones value of $200.

Dear Sir/Madam:Hope everyone doing ok. They brought a Brocken I phone 6. For Repair. There were 2 options:1. Take all the shattered glass out, clean and put a new glass only for $85+tax.That's more than 2 hours hard and risky labour.2. Change the glass and the lcd assembly for $120+tax . Where we offer $10 off. That's about another 20 minutes job. They picked option 1. We should get what we paid. We can not expect brand new. Repair is just Repair. If there is any issues. We need to re do it. We can do it.If someone pay for option 1 , is it fair to offer option 2?We put our time , product and hard labour and then fix it, is it fair to Refund ?If we can put a Brocken screen on that phone back like it was and take this off then provably we can refund. Is it possible?Even if they pay the $25 difference and we could give a new lcd screen . That was nice even if they want to pay or not. What they want, they want to keep the service get the money back and don't pay. Just get the free service. That's a trap. Please let us know what will be the best solution. We like to make our honorable customer happy. Thanks in advance for you kind cooperation. Please call/text if you need anything else. With Thanks,[redacted]

Review: I took my iPod 4 to this kiosk at the [redacted] Mall in [redacted] because the screen cracked. The manager took my iPod, and asked me to return in 24 hours to pick it up.When I went there on Wednesday as asked by him, he had not fixed the screen yet, and said that he did not have the right part, and asked me to come back on Thursday.I went back there today driving 18 miles each way, only to find out that my iPod was not only not fixed, but the screen was even more damaged.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my iPod repaired at a discounted rate. Since the iPod is in a worse condition now than it was when I left it at the kiosk, I would like Cellairis to bear all additional repair costs.

At this time, I have not been contacted by CELLAIRIS regarding complaint ID [redacted]. I had someone else do the job of fixing the cracked screen.

Regards,

Review: I am writing of the Cellairis franchise (kiosk) in [redacted] Mall only. I took my Galaxy S3 to repair a cracked screen and digitizer. I was given a price, shook hands, the original salesman confirmed the price with a second salesman. I returned the next day and was given a price $100 greater. They refused to honor their commitment. I contacted Cellairis corporate, and they were very responsive. Emails and calls went back and forth. They told me the franchise would repair the phone and gave me the price. But then the technician supposedly went to [redacted] on vacation. The Mall people never contacted me. Corporate sent me two cases, but they seemed unable to straighten out their franchisees. Finally I took my phone elsewhere and the repair was fully and satisfactorily repaired in 30 minutes at a decent cost. Cellairis: I would say "buyer beware." I would also advise dissatisfied customers to contact Corporate. They need to understand who their franchisees are. At least avoid the [redacted] Mall people and look at other repair facilities than Cellairis in any mall.Desired Settlement: I only request a settlement in order that this complaint be published and be made available to other consumers. The settlement can be an apology by email directly from the franchise in question. I do not ask for any monetary of material settlement.
