Review: I placed an order and made payment for a carbon fiber hard hat on friday 11/7/2014 at cerious composites invoice #[redacted] through my paypal account. This company has 12 week shipping process, it is beyond that period. I have called numerous times, this past 2 months, I have e- mailed several times trying to get some kind of response or shipping status from this company, and have had no contact from anyone. I was charged 183.00 dollars for a product that I am not even sure exists any more I dont know if this company is real, or if they just made off with a bunch of peoples money or what,I am not looking for a refund, I just want the product I ordered.Desired Settlement: I would like the item I purchased to be delivered to me, or refer me to an alternative company that can provide me reliable customer service and a commitment to provide me with goods that I purchase,

Review: I Purchased a hardhat from this Company back in March of 2015, (PO # [redacted]) for the sum of $189.90.

Somehow the this company managed to bump payment from [redacted] even though I explicitly requested a pay upon delivery option.

It was explained that there was a 16-20 week lead time for this product which conveniently put me past a dispute period with [redacted].

At this point, this company has far exceeded the 16-22 weeks of delivery time.

I spoke with the owner, "Will" on the 1st of August and he said he would put the hardhat on the mold the next day and that I would have my hardhat by the 10th 0f August, 2015.

I have e-mailed "Will" a few times since the 10th and called numerous times.

He is no longer answering his phone, has not returned my calls or emails and his phone messaging only says that they close up shop at 3pm Eastern which is not reasonable for any type of business especially since there is no human response form his company.Desired Settlement: The product he is offering is a life safety product. A product which he has chosen for me to do without. I believe it is in my best interest to cut my losses and just have the funds returned through my [redacted] account immediately so that I may purchase personal protection equipment elsewhere before I get hurt.

Review: Ordered a custom hard hat for the sale price of $129.99 through a [redacted] account in late October of 2014. I understood the long wait time of up to 24 weeks. I contacted the seller via email on a review of their product. I wrote in the review to warn customers of a scam in April of 2015, to which I got a reply email within 24 hrs stating it was no scam and they are dealing with a lot of back orders and the product will ship. I waited 2 more months (9 weeks) and emailed again to no avail. It has been 8 months since the vendor took my money, well beyond a reasonable time. I paid for a product and didn't receive the product. Now they are avoiding me. I cannot get my money back through pay pal because too much time has past. I would rather have the product then my money back but either will do at this point.Desired Settlement: I want to receive the product that I ordered. If Product is not available, I want to receive my money back.

Review: I placed an order online with this company, making a payment through [redacted] with the understanding my product would take 12 - 14 weeks for delivery. It is now 22 weeks (which is what the website now says for delivery) and I still have not received my product. They have had my money all this time and I was told several times my order had shipped. Twice they offered me a refund, however I replied that I "JUST" want the hard hat and they said they would ship it. Now they have not responded to my emails in two weeks. Review: On July 8, 2015, I received an invoice for a hard hat I had ordered. My credit card was charged in the amount of $180.90 on July 9, 2015. I was told I should allow 18-22 weeks for delivery. I am entering the 30th week since placing the order. To date, I have not received delivery, nor I have been able to contact the business after numerous attempts by e-mail and telephone.Desired Settlement: I would like delivery of the order as soon as possible, or at least contact by a person associated with the company.

I have tried to contact the Cerious Composites via phone and email over the past two weeks to get an idea of progress and a projected ship date. Review: I placed an order and paid for a [redacted] on October 24, 2014, expecting a max shipping time of 12 weeks per the website information. Since this time the delivery time on the website has continued to rise. I have contacted the business multiple times. the only "time frame" figure I was given for additional ship time was back in January, in which the owner told me an additional 2-6 weeks, which has long since passed.

I have read the only other two complaints against this company, both of which placed orders after mine, and those complaints are the same as mine. To pay in advance, not receive the (expensive) product within the expected, advertised time is bad. to get another anticipated ship time, which is also not met is worse. and to continue to get no reply from the owner or any managers that may exist is even worse.

my order is now over 6 months old, and I waited over a week after my last email has not been replied to before filing some kind of complaint.

I know that the owner will offer a refund, as this was offered to others filing complaints. at this point, I want the product that I have made a 6 month loan for. I paid for a product which I have no idea, if it does exist, will ever ship.Desired Settlement: I paid for a product. I will be leaving my current project shortly, when we reach substantial completion. I feel as if I made cerious composites a loan for the last 6 months, and would like an expectation of this product being finished, shipped and received by a certain date, which should be VERY SOON.

if a company cannot keep up with orders, those orders should stop being taken until backlogs of orders are caught up on.

Review: Ordered a custom hard hat on February 10, 2015 and paid via [redacted]. Website says up to 22 weeks to receive item which would have been in July. Called in August, gentleman said it was being sent out the next week. Started leaving messages in September a few times a week and send a few emails. All had no response.Desired Settlement: The hard hat was ordered due to a medical condition. Hard hats are a required item for job and are extremely heavy which has caused neck and back problems. This was supposed to alleviate that. Chiropractor even wrote a letter to employer supporting the purchase. We would just like to get the hard hat we ordered.

I ordered a hardhat for my fiancé on November 14th, 2014. I was originally under the impression that the product would not ship for 8-12 weeks. After 12 weeks passed, I inquired about the order and received a response stating that the company had a large number of orders recently and the product would take another 4-6 weeks. After another 6 weeks I inquired again received the same reply. This became a pattern until about 2 months ago when the company stopped responding to my emails. I have sent several emails and called numerous times with no responses.

The date is now July 8th, 2015. It has been nearly 9 months since I placed my order. I understand the business is small and the products are hand made. I am even fine with extended waiting times. However, the lack of communication from the company has me worried I have been scammed. I have all of the conversations and attempts to communicate documented and am prepared to file a complaint with the [redacted] Department of Consumer Protection if I do not receive a reply to this complaint. I wish that the circumstances would not have come to this, but I see no other way of either getting my product or a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like an explanation as why there has been absolutely no communication for the past two months, as well as a reasoning for the 35 weeks and counting wait time.

A refund would be my last resort, but if that's what it comes down to, I want a reimbursement.

I ordered a hard hat from these guys back in mid April 2015. It said on there website 18-22 week lead time. I wasn't happy about that but I decided to go for it. 22 weeks rolled around and no response or hard hat. Finally got a response and they said a few more weeks. Then after several more "few more weeks" I started to get very irritated. Now after several attempts daily trying via email and Twitter, they have removed the ability to call, I have not had a single response. Either give me the product I ordered almost a year ago or give me my money back. I would really like the hard hat but basically loaning you money for a year is just ridiculous.
