Charter van lines was really helpful every step of the way of my last move. I really enjoyed speaking to their customer service manager. He asked a lot of questions to come up with an adequate quote. The crew came over to my house on time and they were very well equipped. They were very fast at their job. All my things were properly packed and loaded. The delivery was made a week later and all our belongings traveled quite well. It really was a perfect move and I only have these guys to thank for it.

I don't remember when was the last time I met some movers who were efficient and cheap. The odds of finding a moving company that does the job well while charging low are rare. But Charter van lines itself is a rarity. They handled my last move and how! They were organized at every step of the way. The packing was done immaculately, their movers were super energetic and they charged a very decent amount for the job. In fact, they had the lowest quote among the companies I contacted. I'm extremely happy with their services.

I had stopped counting on moving companies a long time ago given how poorly they treated my valuables in the past. But relocation is a part of my job and dealing with moving companies is something I do on a regular basis. So imagine my surprise when Charter van lines managed to deliver all my belongings from one coast to another in the exact condition at the right time they promised. While I ended up going with another moving company (simply due to the fact that I had a very small move and that the other company offered at 1 hour minimum), I just wanted to comment on just how professional their sales rep was in all her dealings with me. She was very courteous and polite. I would not hesitate to use Charter van lines in the future when I have a "bigger" (more than a dozen items) move.

As I lived in a high-rise apartment block, I had to notify the manager of exactly when I was moving. Then the manager gave me a time slot to use the elevator. When I called Charter van lines to move my stuff, I notified them of this issue since I would lose the slot if they arrived late. Their crew arrived exactly on time and since it was the first appointment of the day, they were all very charged up. They finished bringing everything downstairs within the timeframe I was given. My manager said that he has seen many movers but never has he seen such efficient ones. I was even more impressed when they managed to transport all my belongings in perfect condition. I have a lot of respect for Charter van lines as a moving company because they are very different from the other ones. While other companies only focus on making profits, these guys actually show genuine interest in their job. They really showed a lot of care while moving my valuables last time. They showed up on time and packed up everything really fast. The movers were really skilled. The whole moving-loading process took a very short time and then they set off. The van pulled up at my new house right on schedule and all my valuables were safe. After being harassed by so many moving companies in the past, these guys were such treat.

It may not be a long way we had to move but a move is always a move and even the slightest inept handling of your valuables may result in disasters. Fortunately, Charter van lines has moved enough delicate pieces of valuables in their history to know how to do their job. Except for one broken cup of china, all my valuable belongings arrived safe and sound; these movers are very well trained for their job!

Some moving companies employ really good movers but their customer service is just crap. The people they put on the phone have no idea about how any of it works. I have had terrible experiences with the moving companies when it came to contacting them or trying to track the whereabouts of my belongings. These weren’t issues with Charter van lines. Their customer service was just awesome. The man on the phone, Tanner, was very well informed and very polite. He called me back in 4 minutes with an excellent quote. The men were as skilled as they come. They packed up everything and loaded them like routine work. I’m sure they have received very good training. When I tried tracking my things, the customer service surprised me again. The guy took only a minute to find out where my things were and I was very pleased with this. He called me as soon as my goods arrived. They were all in very good condition. I am very delighted with the services provided by these guys, both on and off the field.

Moving to the big city was expensive enough. We just couldn’t afford a fancy moving company on top of that. Charter van lines quoted the cheapest and that’s why we hired them. They were not only cheap, but they were also very efficient. The movers showed up half an hour early on the moving day. Their work was impeccable and every little detail was taken care of.
