Hi, Please be informed that we tried to contact the customer and left a message on her voice mail box.(The customer has not been replying to our phone calls at all and we have been waiting to speak to to her.)As we were unable to speak to her, we have got the refund initiated from usThe refund amount of $would be credited to the original mode of payment in working daysThe refund confirmation email was sen tto the customer with a CC marked to Ms [redacted] and [redacted] ***.The complete amount could not be refunded as the customer has used the ticket alreadyThe customer confirmed that she had printed her boarding passes on a call conversation with us.She did ask us to cancel the reservation for a full refund however, as she had already checked in for the flights, and the cancellation request received was after hours of booking the reservation, the Airline did not permit a full refund of the ticket and we had to abide to the Airline policies completely.The same information was advised to the customer, however, she still wanted to check the same with AirlineThe amount would have been refunded originally, however, the customer confirmed that she would call us back after speaking to the Airline on the last call conversation we had with her, which was on July The customer never called us back and took the flights laterIf she felt the amount should have been refunded to her, we would have done so if she would have asked us to do so instead of asking us to wait for her to call back and never called us back after that.Although we only charged her for the fare depending on the fare availability on our systems, we were ready to honor the fare which got available after her booking got confirmedThe customer clearly informed us that she did not want us to honor anything and would call us back after speaking to the Airline.For the agent who assisted the customer with the reservation, did inform her that her booking was issued through a Third party, Cheap Flights Fares, however, there seems to be a miscommunication, which we can sure resolve if the customer takes our calls or calls us back.Please validate the complaint and adviseRegards,Liz C***

Good morning MsC***, As requested, the mobile number I had at the time was [redacted] This phone is not a personal one (I only have a terrestrial line at home) and it is the phone number of my employer At the time I tried to reach Cheap Flights Fares, the phone kept disconnecting I was unable to reach any person of the clientele services I am unsure why and I was so nervous about missing the next flight (in Montréal I had to take another flight the next day back to where I live in [redacted] **), that I felt compelled to book a flight on my ownAs I was explaining to you, I was on a time constraint on October The next flight to Montreal with [redacted] was at 1:pm The offices of [redacted] did not open until around 11:am It took at least minutes for the travel agents at the counter trying to figure out why I had no reservation before finally telling me that unfortunately they could not do anything for meAfter trying to reach Cheap Flights Fares for about minutes or so by phone I was running out of time As you know, the delays to rechemy luggage, past security, find the gate is at least hoursI was also afraid of having no seats on the planeBack when I first reserved my flight with Cheap Flights Fares in September I also had to call your toll-free phone number without any success It kept ringing and then disconnecting without the chance of leaving any messages Outsourcing your clientele services to a foreign country might be a good monetary decision for your company but the end result unfortunately may be a poor service to customersIn our conservation last week and again in your e-mail today, you mentioned that it was a technical error as if this minimizes or discharges any liability from Cheap Flight Fares I respectively disagree with such a claim First, I highly doubt the veracity of this assertion and secondly, if this is true, I have a hard time absolving a company which main activity is to electronically process flight reservations The degree of your system must be of the highest standards and any flaw to it that causes a monetary loss to a passenger should be borne entirely by your company I doubt that other companies like expedia.com or kayak.com would argue such thingIn our conversation last Friday, you mentioned that Cheap Flights Fares could not reimburse the full claimed amount of $USD because you are a small company and that by doing so you would not make any profit on the reservation I did I was shocked of hearing this I have to say that the only one right now losing money because of the fault of your company is me Back home, I am a civil servant for the government and my income is very limited I do not have the means of a company like yours The $USD (your administration fees on the sale) you're offering is appreciated but does not cover my lossAlso, what I understand is that since there was a computer glitch in your system, the reservation flights CM *** and CM *** from Lima (Perou) to Montreal (Canada) with [redacted] were never booked and never existed Therefore, Cheap Flights Fares never had to pay for those flightsThe way I see it is that your company owes me a reimbursement for the part of the trip which was paid in full ($1,USD) through my credit card on September 11, Lastly, I just want to say that when I was at the airport in Lima (Perou) and when the travel clerks were trying to help me with the reservation, they could not understand why no reservation was in the system One of the travel agents at the time told me that they saw in the past such similar situations with passengers and usually the person got scam by the website provider At the time, I truly was under this impression and I hope that I am wrong right nowSo far, however, and considering how I was treated last week on Friday, I still have my doubts and I’m still trying to figure out why Cheap Flights Fares is not trying to settle this amicably to maintain its reputationI am glad that the Revdex.com is enclosed to this e-mail and I hope that we can resolve this issue so that I can withdraw my complaint to the Revdex.com and to the [redacted] Have a good day [redacted] , [redacted]

I tried to reach out to the customer, however was unfortunately unable to speak to her.I checked the booking details and found that the customer had originally made the reservation on our websiteThe customer would have selected the destination airport for San Jose, CA if she got booked to travel to the cityThe screenshot below confirms that the destination airports are displayed with the city and state names for the customers to be able to know the airports they bookClearly, she must not have noticed the destination she was booking for.Also, We checked the call records and found that the customer had originally called us on Jan 31, 2018, after the reservation was booked on Dec 29, Unfortunately, The reservation, by then, was not valid to be refunded, as per the Airline policiesWe offered the customer to make a change on the reservation, and as the customer was traveling to an International destination around peak travel dates, the customer was informed that a change fee for $per person + a fare difference per person would be chargedAlso, the Airline could not be changed, the customer booked American Airlines, and she was not flexible with dates, we checked for the best possible amounts and found flights were she could get the changes done for an Additional amount of $in total for both the passengers, inclusive of all Taxes and change feesThe customer did not agree to pay the amount.We also checked if the customer wanted to cancel the flights and keep the ticket cost as a future credit, she denied to the amounts, when she found out that there was a cancellation charge of $per person and she could get a credit for $to be used in future against another reservation.We understand that the customer had paid $for the original reservation she booked on our website, however making a change to flights is usually a high amount as there is a change fee involved to make a change on any reservationThis amount varies depending on Airline policies and can only be waived off if there is a medical reasonHaving to abide to the Airline policies, we tried to check for all the options possible for the customer to be able to use the flights, however, she denied to the same.We can still cancel the reservation and give her a credit for the ticket costHowever, unfortunately, as the tickets are our of the refund period, we would not be able to initiate the refund for the customerWe can assist the customer with the best possible options, if she would be ok with it, which could only be done until Feb 12, as the customer's flights are scheduled for Feb 13.Please advise further.Thank you for your cooperation.Please feel free to reply to this email or contact to us for any further assistance at [redacted] Regards,Liz C***Manager - Cheap Flights FaresExtn ***Email: [redacted] Click here to Reply or Forward
