The whole issue was it took over a week to get the wheels in motion to get a refund now I have to wait 2-3 billing cycles to get the refund. I had reps hang up on me and that is unacceptable and rude. I had to ask them repeatedly to agree to a refund and that took days of complaining when American Airlines had agreed to the refund. I how can I cooperate at this point. I have to complain about this company on every platform I can find to protect other consumers like myself. It's a serious inconvenience to wait weeks for a refund.the unprofessionalism with this company is astounding.

the response they have provided is completely inaccurate.  We confirmed with the airline that the flights were booked as regular economy from the onset.  they were never booked as premium economy.  In fact, the agent at Cheapflightsfares admitted that they never booked premium economy when I pressed them about the airline.  Interestingly, there is an email from them that said we were bumped on the entire trip.. how would they have known that we were bumped on the return flight which was 30 days after the outbound.  the only way they could have known that was if they knew that the entire trip was booked in coach class. i have added a copy of our conversation log and exchange of emails.  they also lied about issuing a credit which hasn't been done to date.

I understand the customer did not receive the Premium Economy seats, however, it was due to the Airline's discretion to change the craft closer to the date of travel.I have forwarded you other emails we have received from the customer, where he has been threatening us to file a complaint with the Attorney general and has filed one, which we received yesterday. We have been trying to explain the customer that the Airline refused to refund anything more than the taxes as he used his flights going out of [redacted] to [redacted] and then further on to [redacted] from [redacted] with a Stop over in between. The unused part of the flights were only the return from [redacted] to [redacted], which was marked a No-Show for the customer as the customer did not take those flights. The Airline refused for any refunds for No-Show tickets. We offered the customer a refused of $5500 from our end.

As per our telephonic conversation yesterday on the complaint filed by the customer - [redacted], Please be informed that the customer actually purchased an additional service while booking a flight on our website, which is actually different than a Travel Insurance. The service is a Traveler Concierge Program  which offers a customer a free cancellation within 24 hours of booking the flight, along with a few other services, without any service fee charged to the customer. The customer contacted us before 5 days of travel and the booking was out of the 24 hour window by then. Unfortunately, as the booking was out of the refund period, we could only cancel the booking with a future credit offered to the customer, which is valid to be used within 1 year of the ticket issuance date, and needs to be used until Dec 18, 2018.The complaint is filed as the customer misunderstood Traveler Concierge Program as Travel insurance. for the the cancellation he requested and as the tickets are non refundable, he has been given a credit of USD3023.92 to be used within 1 year of issuance of the ticket. The customer agreed to it. Initially a cancellation fee was charged additionally to him for $700 as we had requested the Airline to make an exception, however, as the Airline denied to any exceptions later, the amount was refunded to him. Consumer called regarding the complaint.  He stated he has been trying to get in touch with the business and has called but is not receiving calls back from Liz C[redacted] and the complaint has not been resolved.

This business is dishonest in their handling of everything.  We arrived at the airport and to our surprise found that the premium economy seats that we had purchased were actually regular economy seats.  Now they are saying that because we flew on the first leg of our flight, we are not entitled to a refund.  They actually have sent me three emails recently claiming they have refunded my credit card but in fact they have not.  They advised my credit card company that the tickets are not refundable.   The dishonesty in the original booking and the dishonesty and lack of integrity in handling this matter is driving me to further pursue this matter with the attorney generals office and the legal system.  All consumers should be aware of the dishonest dealings of this company.
