Not impressed with this company. They listed me as being a convict in Florida for 2009 when I was enrolled in Georgia for school and living in South Carolina. The woman who was listed as me is several years older than me, and doesn't even have my birthday. They need to check on their information a lot more regarding birthdays and where people live. My name is very common. 3 people have my name in this county alone. I was not happy with them trying to pin someone else's wrong doing on me.

Complaint[redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I know they say they tried to contact me but that's not true I called back I asked them to call me between certain hours I called back it goes straight to voicemail I'm unable to get a hold of anyone the number they gave me does not even have an answering machine it just goes straight to as a peep then a messaging system it doesn't identify the company or anything.  I spoke to a guy named [redacted] who told me they can't change my information through email I will send a copy of that email as well basically I feel the company is playing games and when you are dealing with someone else's identity you're not supposed to do stuff like that someone needs to get a hold of me or of the need to give me a number where I can get a hold of a supervisor so this matter can be resolved .  The number they gave me is

I am rejecting this response because: I just want to know where did you get your information on me that said that I was guilty to a felony charge? Since you didn't get it from the courts. This is what is damaging. because you falsely reported damaging information from the beginning. and I plan to take this matter to who ever I have to take it too. Maybe this may not be important to you but it is to me because this is my life we are talking about here. Therefore I want to know where did you get your information from me that you falsely reported in the beginning. So I can correct it there too!

this response because: One instead of fixing the problem they have only made it worst, I have inclosed a copy of all the somewhat correction that they have made. alone with the original copy of the court records that I sent to them. Don't even see why I'm dealing with this after 17 years this has never been a issue.  this is really damaging my character and reputation.

Actually I tried more than a dozen times to contact checkr and never once was I able to talk to a single person. I did talk to Uber and they did mention that they did hire checkr for the initial six months prior but they had not authorized any additional back ground checks. They also stated that they could not get them to stop either and as the tech put it they were "running amock". Again This company never contacted me and I coudlnt get ahold of anyone at the site. No direct or indirect contact because Uber couldnt get a response either. This is a dangerous company and I seriously word about checks and balances with possibility ID theft due to their lack of control and oversight

California penal code SB530 Civil penalties and or a misdemeanor criminal chare if the seal record is reported intentionallySo in California CHECKRs product has not only violated 3 FCRA laws they have also violated state civil and criminal laws.
